John got up from his bed and left his room to wash his face in the bathroom.

Then he went outside the house and felt the fresh cold breeze of the night as he rubs his arms to take away the cold.

He breathes in and breath out, with it are those unsettled feelings that he has earlier. He felt comfortable after repeating that a few times.

He looks up to the sky and saw the vast number of stars that glittered up there in the sky.

He stayed like that for a few minutes staring at the stars while reflecting on himself and the things he did in his previous life. Then he started feeling his neck hurting, so he massaged it and also stopped staring at the stars.

John thought that he should go back inside now but a system notification stopped him.

[Mission: A man who wishes to be strong.]

[Mission Detail: A man name Mark, desired to be strong that he wish for it to the very deepest part of him. You, as the host of the ’Wishing System’, have received a quest to answer his wish.]

[Penalty: Death of children and Mark]

After he read the details, John has questions that he wants to asks the system. Why would Mark die and whose children are the ones talking about here? And also, was the system’s focus to answer wishes?

He was also attracted by the rewards but he can’t focus on it because of the penalty. We’re talking about death here!

But before that, he ponders first as to how he is going to complete this quest. Then another notification from the system sounded.

"Hmm?" John tilted his head, "A new function? Why did it suddenly appear? Is it related to the mission? What is it for?"

He directly pressed the [God’s Eye] and the system screen changed. Before it goes to the [God’s Eye] there was first an introduction for the function.

After reading that, John immediately saw the usefulness of this function. It can be used for all kinds of things!

Then it comes to him, what is the use of this function!

John looks at the timer on the mission tab and saw that 3 minutes already pass and he is still dilly-dallying here.

He hurriedly entered inside the house and came to his room, before he went though he told his mom that he might eat a bit later because of something then dash towards his room without even waiting for a reply.

He sat on his bed and open the system. He pressed the [God’s Eye] function again. Then a notification appeared,

John pressed ’Yes’. Then suddenly, he felt it. It’s like he has everything, the feeling of if you just will it, it will happen. That feeling is so intoxicating, that John can’t help but close his eyes and enjoy it.

But he did not enjoy it for long as he remembered his mission. He opened his eyes, but what he saw was not his room, but a view of his house roof from above!

John was startled by it for a bit before understanding dawn on him.

"So this is what the [God’s Eye] can do," he muttered under his breath. After knowing that, he started moving with just the thought. If he wants to move forward, just think of it.

Then with the view from above, John started searching for the alley where Mark and the kids are.

It took him little to no time to find them in an alley near the market. He saw that with them are some people that don’t seem to be here for any good reason.

When he arrived above them, he saw Mark suddenly pushing the ugly man near him, causing the man to retreat a few steps and almost losing his balance.

The others from behind the pushed man took a step forward and look like they are going to attack, but the ugly man raised his hands signaling them to stop. Then he fixed his posture and approach Mark again, he neared his ears and seems to be whispering something to Mark.

It happened then, Mark throws out a punch to the ugly man’s face, hitting his nose.

The ugly man’s face becomes twisted and he shouted something to his lackeys and they rushed forward.

When John saw that he know that he should act now.

"....How can I give power to him...hmm.." he pondered about it and he can only think of one way.

"Can my blessing multiply stats permanently?"

It’s a question that no one can answer but him. All he has to do is try it out.

With that, John put his focus on Mark who has a grave look on his face, it seems that he doesn’t know what to do.

Then John chanted it, "Multiply x3!"

He then felt energy leaving his body, it felt like he was drained of his energy. It lasted for a few seconds, then John felt a flash and he was back in his room.

On the system screen, a notification is there that said.

Looking at the screen in front of him, he can’t help but be in a daze. He can imagine many uses with this power. This can also make him money, so that his mother will not need to work anymore. He can multiply gold for his needs. He can’t help but become giddy with excitement, he’s body start shaking with the excitement that he feel and his face slowly turn into a grin. Now he can’t wait to go home and use it to do what he imagine and to prove if it is possible. But first he need to improve his mana and train himself to be better.

John clenched his fist and start to look forward to his future.

Seeing John not reacting at first and being in a daze, the people around him, His mother and The Church Father became worried. But when they see him grin they sigh in relief.

When receiving the Gods Blessing only the person that is receiving can know what he or she obtain, it is their choice if they will tell others about this. But of course there is another way to look at someone’s power, it is by either with the use of the [God’s Blessing: Appraisal] or by looking at their status plate or status card.

John and Sophia enjoyed the dinner that is much richer than their past foods.

After they finish their dinner, Sophia stand up and collected the dishes and brought it to the sink to wash. John volunteered to do the dishes but his mom did not allow him, so he just sat on a chair and wait for his mom.

Sophia finish washing the dishes after a while, and she approach John and sit beside him.

"I have something to give you mom." John said, deciding to give the coins that he ’earned’ today to his mom.

"What is it baby" Sophia ask while smiling. She thought it’s just a drawing or something that John make. Well technically she is not wrong.

"Wait here for a bit," saying this, he ran towards his room and came back bringing the containing his savings.

"Here it is." he pass it to his mother and waited for her to open it.

Looking at the box, she notice that this is the box that John put his money that she gave to him, so she ask, "What is this, baby? Isn’t this your savings, why are you giving this to me?"

"Open it mom." John said.

Looking at her son, she decided to just open it. What she saw inside shock her. It contain many bronze coin inside the box and she look at her son again and ask immediately, "Where did you get this, John!?" she ask in a panic thinking that her son might have done something bad.

Knowing this, John answer her question, "I use my power here mom. I have the power to multiply anything, so I multiplied the bronze coins that you gave me."

Sighing in relief, Sophia take a breath to calm herself. She then said, "That’s good, atleast you did not do something bad to get this money."
