Lord Of Puppets-Chapter 142 – Dungeon Raid – Part 13.

Thauma tried pulling the chain of the spiked ball once again, struggling over it with Adam who wasn’t letting go of his weapon.

In the very next instance, the remaining tanks approached from multiple directions the golem, while the warriors waited by their side.

"..." – noticing this, Thauma let go of the ball, allowing Adam to quickly retract it and recover it.

(They are planning on attacking me from all the directions.) – thought Thauma.

(Honestly, I wanted to finish off as many if the wounded enemies.... But that magic swordman got in my way.)

(They are not moving.....)

(They are wary of the [Earthly Forged Blade – Crown] spell.)

(They know if they rush me down, I can hit them all at once.)

(But again, firing off big attacks like this will drain way too much mana.)

However, right as Thauma was about to make its move, a short spear flew right across the room.... And right before Thauma could react, the spear was already in front of its face.

In the next moment, spear crushed right into the golem face, stabbing one of its four eyes, digging right into the golem face.

The golem head ended up being tilted backwards from the pure impact, which caught Thauma completely off guard.

It tried liftin up its head.... But just as it did-

It saw the vengeful Elizabeth right above it, before then seeing the woman thrust down her second spear, stabbing the golem right in its face and piercing its second eye.

"?!"

Thauma in panic instantly launched forward its claws upwards, but the woman quickly did an aerobating move, lifting herself up by grabbing onto the spears that were stuck in the golem face, before then quickly taking out her blades and getting off the golem.

The girl tried landing behind the golem and quickly reading herself to attack the golem once more.

But Thauma wasn’t going to let that happened as it quickly turn around its body and landed triple backhand strikes at the girl who was still in midair, striking the woman and sending her flying.

(HOW?!) – Thauma was still extremely alarmed and terrified after getting suddenly jumped like this.... But before the golem could sort out its thoughts, Markus quickly rushed at the golem, seizing the opportuning and landing enchanted blow of wind and blade at the golem, slashing its chest.

"!"

The golem tried quickly attacking the man, but he once again quickly retreated, dodging the golem claws.

But as made a distance, both warriors and tanks rushed at the golem, striking it.

"GET AWAY!" – shouted Markus, alarming the adventurers to start running as Thauma slammed down its arms.

In its desperation, Thauma unleashed its powerful earthly spell, unleashing several blades that sprouted from the ground, attempting to impale all enemies around the golem.

However, they were able to somewhat step back, managing to avoid any lethal hits or using their weapons to somewhat block the attacks, as both the warriors and tanks only ended up with minor injuries.

However, right after pushing back the adventurers, Markus quickly rushed in and slashed the golem once again, landing a solid.

Thauma tried in panic attack the man once again, but he dodged the attack by slipping right underneath the golem claw thrust.

(OH SHIT!) – thought Thauma, realizing its stomach area is wide open.

The man thrusted forward his sword, unleashing a stab empowered with a tornado that landed a critical hit on the golem, which ended up pushing the golem away and even breaking apart the earthly forged blades behind it.

The golem managed to somewhat stop itself by bending backwards and using its claws to stab the earth.

But right after that, Elizabeth rushed in at the golem, ready to dug her weapon right into the golem face once again.

But the golem hands were already on the ground, allowing it to fire off another one of its earthly blades at the woman.

Elizabeth tried stepping to the side, dodging the blade.... But the golem claws that came at her, stabbing her multiple times from the sides, before then getting fallowed up with wave of punches that punched the woman right in her guts.

"What the fuck are you doing?!" – shouted Markus as he leaped at the golem, alarming the creature as it quickly moved to the side, saving the woman before the creature had another chance to launch any form of attack.

"Aren’t your family arts specializing in defense or some shit!? Why are you not using them?!"

"SHUT UP!" – shouted fury consumed Elizabeth.

"..."

(Oh.... Wow. She also went fucking berserk?!) – thought surprised, annoyed and pissed off Markus.

(For crying out loud! Why?!)

(One guy that can use his heads let the rage into his head, while the calm lady ended up the same way?!)

(For crying out loud!)

(And they called me ’irresponsible’ and ’reckless’!)

(But now I’m only one with sane mind?!)

(Still.... The golem isn’t doing so hot.)

(Its body maybe not some regular iron, but it is still able to take damage.)

"All we have to look out for is that giant area of effect spell it did and claws!" – shouted Markus as Elizabeth once again rushed at the golem.

"?!"

"H-HEY!" – shouted Markus as the girl reached the golem, causing it to thrust forward three of its claws.

However, the woman didn’t charged recklessly at the golem, as she used her spears to redirect the puppets attacks, managing to block off two off the stabs that were about to hit her.

Right after that, the woman launched a barrage of stabs at the golem, chipping away bits of its metallic body.

But obviously the golem didn’t stayed quiet as it tried punching the woman with a punch from below, aiming for the woman stomach once again.

However, there was a misunderstanding.

Markus and Thauma thought that the woman had went completely berserk, thinking that she had lost her mind.

But in reality, she didn’t.

She saw the dungeon master coming and quickly jumped up, landing on top of the golem’s hand that just tried stabbing it, before then using it as platform to jump even higher, launching herself straight at the golem face and lunging forward her short lance, stabbing the third eye of the golem.

The woman tried to use her second short spear to take out the last remaining eye of the golem in attempts of blinding it completely.... But she didn’t noticed one of the golem hands nearby.

The puppet fired off the blade of earth not from the ground this time, but instead manifesting it right in its palm with its magic, launching the weapon at the young woman’s face.

"?!" – the woman saw attack coming and quickly moved to the side, somewhat dodging the attack.... But not completely.

The blade struck part of her head and eye, straight up blinding the woman left side.

The puppet tried going for another fallow up, but a spiked ball flew and struck the golem right in the back of its knee at full power, causing the golem attack to straight up miss.

The young swordman unleashed his blast of wind magic at the golem, stalling it enough for just a moment, allowing to woman to quickly back away.

"Shit! JUST FUCKING STOP IT! OKAY?!" – shouted Markus.

"THIS GUY CAN BE KILLED! BUT IF YOU RUSH AT HIM LIKE An IDIOT, YOU WILL GET YOURSELF AND US ALL KILLED!"

"..."

"Tch." – the woman somewhat understood the situation and decided to stop in place for a moment.

"..."

(Still.... That thing fired off that magic from its hand?) – thought Markus.

(I’ve thought it needed to fire it off only from the ground.)

(....)

(Manifestation and manipulation variants, eh?)

(I guess it fired it off in pure desperation?)
