Lucky Spin: Godly Programming-Chapter 53: Common Knowledge?
Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Common Knowledge?
So, all he had to do now was wait. Cybersecurity platforms like CyberQuest manually verify each applicant, especially when identity is involved.
They check for fraud, prevent banned users from reapplying, and validate the uploaded ID and selfie for consistency.
This part usually takes 24 to 48 hours, sometimes longer, depending on the platform’s policies.
With that, he decided to do some research for his debate, going through every link that presented strong arguments to defend his side. Of course, he needed to make his points even stronger.
It needed to lead with a strong hook, so he had to open with a fact, statistic, or emotional trigger related to education outcomes.
After that, he needed to establish the purpose and value like why was it proposed?
What impact would it have on students, teachers, or the educational system as a whole?
So, he needed to look for sources that explain why K–12 was introduced, particularly focusing on how it perfectly aligns with global standards and bridges the education-to-employment gap.
The goal was to prepare students better for college or the workforce. Finding credible data and real-world examples would help strengthen his argument.
And of course, he needed to acknowledge the criticism but redirect it, since he was defending the proposal.
He had to show that he was very much aware of the opposition, like the financial burden and the lack of infrastructure, while framing those concerns as challenges that could be addressed over time with the right policies, funding, and strategic planning.
He read every article, research study, blog, news piece, and more that could defend his side.
Learning it was relatively easy due to his skill, ’Perfect English,’ and he could organize it in his mind after reviewing the material.
But, of course, he typed it all in a document, needing to formulate and refine his thoughts to be sure.
Since he wasn’t a robot and just a human, for now!!!
So, he needed to take his time and refine his arguments. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
For the last part, he planned to reinforce his position with a call to action or a warning.
He needed to end by projecting what would happen if K–12 were removed versus if it were retained, highlighting the potential consequences for students, future job prospects, and the education system as a whole.
After studying for another two hours, he had learned a lot. With that, he went to bed for the night. When morning came, he woke up early, ready to finish his preparation.
Around 5 in the morning, when he checked his phone, his teacher, Mrs. Eve, finally sent him the data.
He quickly got to work, and that is re-editing Chapter 3 and inserting the new information.

When everything was done, he took a bath. After finishing, he ate a sumptuous meal and, as he wore his newly bought uniform, he headed out.
Walking down the stairs, he finally saw his aunt. She had dark circles under her eyes as she lay on the sofa watching the tv.
Clearly, she was tired, "Aunt, good morning," he called out.
"Hmm," Rose hummed, nodding in his direction.
Jeff was stunned, wondering why his aunt seemed so drained, especially since it wasn’t that late.
He sat beside her, "What’s wrong, Aunt?" Jeff asked, concern evident in his voice.
Rose, feeling a little bit tired, leaned her head on his lap, "It’s nothing, I’m just annoyed," she said, her voice filled with irritation.
"Annoyed? Annoyed by what?" Jeff asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.
"Of course, I’m annoyed by that guy, Brian. He keeps chasing me and asking me out on dates," she growled, as Jeff stared at her.
They were very close, so Jeff wasn’t bothered by it at the least and that’s what he told himself.
But deep down, he did feel a bit uneasy. After all, hormones were strong at his age. This interaction made him somewhat uncomfortable.
Even though he was into 2D characters, seeing his aunt in loose clothes, with her huge galooping breast and voluptous figure, made him feel uncomfortable.
He quickly pushed the thoughts away, reminding himself that she was his aunt.
He didn’t salivate or linger on the thought.
"Who’s Brian?" Jeff asked, trying to focus on the conversation.
"Brian is the guy who’s my classmate that you met at the mall," she replied.
"Ahh, I see. But why are you so annoyed? You can just decline instead of saying yes," Jeff asked, feeling a bit baffled.
"That’s the problem," she continued, her voice tinged with annoyance.
"It’s because I can’t say no. He went to my house and asked for my mother’s blessing. My mom and dad are very worried about my well-being since I’m already getting older and haven’t found a husband yet. They pressure me every time he asks me out."
"I received lots of phone calls if I decline, making me annoyed from the constant nagging," she gritted her teeth, her chest rising slightly with each frustrated breath.
Jeff, hearing this, finally understood, "You don’t look so old to me, Aunt. You still look like a young lady. But isn’t it also time for you to find someone to marry?" Jeff offered his point of view.
"That’s the problem," she continued.
"It’s just that I don’t find him attractive at all. Plus, he already has a wife. I don’t want to join his harem," she snickered.
Jeff nodded in understanding, but then he froze, his mind suddenly caught on the word ’harem’.
His eyes widened in awe, and for a moment, he was lost in thought, imagining the idea.
"He already has a wife! Then why is he still pursuing you? What an asshole!" Jeff cursed loudly, his anger was evident.
Rose was surprised by his sudden outburst, "Hey, young man, why the sudden rise in anger? He already has a woman, but it’s not that big of a problem," she responded, trying to calm him down.
"What?!" Jeff leaned back on the couch, with a shocked look.
"Why the shocked face? Don’t you even know about this?" Rose asked, feeling a bit incredulous.
"It’s literally common knowledge. Every man can have as many women as he wants, as long as he can take care of it." She explained, shaking her head in disbelief that he didn’t know this.
"What? There’s such a thing?" Jeff muttered, disbelief painting his face.
"How is this even allowed? We live in a world where polygamy was abolished centuries ago. But Islamic law allows polygamy under certain conditions, and some countries with significant Muslim populations still permit it"
"But it’s only allowed in a few countries and not considered common knowledge," Jeff thought, feeling speechless.
"But here, in this Second Earth, not only is it allowed, but it’s also literally common knowledge."
And the casual way Rose spoke about it made Jeff feel like he knew very little about the topic.
"Well, this privilege is really only for those with a good background and rich people," Rose continued.
"An example of that is Brian, since he runs a multi-million company."
"Also, having multiple women is pretty rare, maybe because we’re not in the city where buildings and business empires stand tall. In this small town? It’s mostly rare to spot one. The only one I’ve known to have one is none other than this annoying Brian," she said, raising her leg on the sofa and kicking the air in frustration.
Even though a man was allowed to have as many women as he wanted, it didn’t mean those women would accept being a second or even third wife.
They preferred to be the sole attention of their husband, not wanting that attention split in half. This was exactly what Rose had in mind when she spoke about the situation.
Jeff, still lost in his own thoughts, felt like this was a bit of a fantasy. "Is it because of the Earth’s size and the rise of the population isn’t a problem?" he mused.
"Hmm, maybe I should do some research," Jeff uttered, still feeling that it was a bit unacceptable.
Even though this world felt a bit like a haven, if Jeff ever decided to marry someone, he would rather marry just one person.
He still remembered his first date and his first love, back in his first life.
He had asked a girl, someone who had a crush on him, out on a date. Since he was really curios about what it felt to be in a relationship.
The memory was still clear in his mind, even though it felt like a lifetime ago.
Actually just a few years ago, so yeah.
So they started their relationship. She was pretty good, but the constant messages, like the updated saying ’Good morning’, ’have you eaten’ and ’where are you’. And checking on her well-being, became tiring.
Especially the dates, which sometimes cost money, since he was poor back then. Eventually, he decided to end the relationship.
When she was sad, he had to spend a lot of time trying to make her happy, and it started to feel consuming.
"If I can’t handle one, why add more?" Jeff thought.
He’d rather not get married if this is how hard it is to be a part of a relationship.
"Ah, Aunt, I still have school. I’ll be going now, bye," he said, standing up. Rose lifted her head so he could get up and leave the place.
