Lunar Awakening-Chapter 30: Curses, The Gallant Adventurer & The Scion Of A Great Family (2)
Leo willed his information to be displayed in hopes of finding something that would be useful to him in this precarious situation.
Name: Leonardo.
Title: Awakened.
Pack: —.
Lunar Core: Awakened.
Soul Fragments: 37/500.
His eyes flickered at the number of fragments he had received in the night alone, if he was to count the number he had gained in the night alone it would have amounted to twenty one soul fragments but he was sure he had killed more than that number of dormant beasts. He could only come to the conclusion that he did not get as many fragments for each individual beast he killed.
Stats—
Strength: 3
Agility: 7
Endurance: 5
Vitality: 1
Aura: 1
Lunar Points: 8
"Last time I put points into my agility, this time I should focus on something else." He spoke in a bare whisper.
The two most logical options would be his endurance or vitality. He did not feel endurance would be the right way to go given the circumstances, he had spent half the day enduring and nothing was getting better. But vitality sounded like it had something to do with life, or so he hoped.
[Stats]
Vitality: 1
Do you wish to add the 1 lunar point to this stat?
Leo waited for a few seconds to see any change but there was none. "Come on, don’t mess with me." He grumbled in annoyance.
[Stats]
Vitality: 2
Do you wish to add the 1 lunar point to this stat?
Still there was no change in his condition, he continued to add more lunar points into the vitality stat. It was not until it had reached five points that he felt a cold air bathe his body and nourish him.
He could begin to feel the sense that his body was healing, "Finally." He said with a slight smirk, the process was still slow but he could feel it improving.
He summoned his stats to look at it once more.

Lunar Points: 4
After a moment’s consideration he was beginning to see a pattern. The night before he had only felt the increase from his agility when it was over the five-point mark, he wondered if it was the same for the other stats too.
"No, what’s important is to heal first." He told himself.
Awakened superhumans were supposed to heal much faster than dormant humans but being able to regulate how fast one could control that healing was unheard of.
He decided to add two more points into his vitality before relaxing and waiting until he could move again.
The voice of the other man called his attention a few minutes later only this time it was much closer. "Excuse me sir, are you alive in there."
Leo wanted to jump up and beat the man to a pulp if he could. ’Seriously what is this guy’s problem, do I look like his pen pal or something?’
At the moment he was beginning to feel his shoulders again and they could barely even move on their own.
In a few short seconds the man was standing before Leo, he looked as outlandish as he did every time. With an outfit of an adventurer who had too much to drink.
Leo noticed how the man kept a considerable distance from him and how he had positioned both his pegs at the ready to bolt if anything were to go wrong at any second. ’Despite his repulsive look he’s actually a well-experienced hunter.’
The man observed Leo’s armour artifact with great enthusiasm before saying with a smile, "What a rather peculiar armour, I have never seen any like it. And the headgear is just fabulous and terrifying at once, are you perhaps from Glory Base?"
Leo had wanted to keep shut but the man had infuriated him by talking nonstop. On the bright side the man could be attacking him, "What do you want fool?"
The man jumped back with a frightened look on his face. "Oh my, he talks."
Leo found this very insulting, "Of course he talks, are you crazy?"
The man clicked his tongue repeatedly before saying, "How dare you speak to the scion of a great family like that?"
’Why is he so full of himself?’ Leo rolled his eyes inwardly which was hidden behind his visor which only reflected white light.
The scion continued to talk even without Leo’s involvement, "You don’t seem to know what you have done here, these beasts were important to my research."
A weak smile formed on Leo’s lips as he could begin to feel the blood flowing through his body once more. He groaned as he started to move his limbs and climb up to his feet, to the scion the groans sounded like wild animal sounds meant to intimidate him.
"Oh my, I love the gimmick and all but I have a proposal for you." He tried to pat Leo on the back only to be stopped by the menacing look the wolf figurehead shot at him. "I take it you’re not the touchy type, why don’t we strike a deal."
Leo groaned again and glanced at the man, "Do you ever stop talking?" He was holding his rage back just barely from smacking the man on the head, he still had to think what he would do about him now that he had seen his armour.
The man continued to talk regardless of all the warning glares Leo sent his way. "I don’t know who you are but seeing as you cleaned up this place with ease I take it you are a hidden powerhouse within Glory Base."
’With ease? What ease, I almost died.’
While Leo was arguing within himself he noticed how clean and shiny his armour was leading the scion to think he had killed the horde with ease.
Leo groaned as he barely mustered enough energy to walk, he slowly limped and under the weight of his armour it was anything but light work.
The scion’s voice permeated the air again filling Leo with annoyance for a second, "Since you put in all this work for me why don’t I buy it all from your hands, is that a deal?"
Leo’s ears perked up at the sound of money, he paused in his tracks and spoke in a deep tone. "Did you just say you were going to pay me?"
