Magic Academy's Villain Bodyguard: I Must Tame All The Princesses-Chapter 15: Thoughts
The whole time he heard John’s words Azariah had been confused.
All of the events that he was describing, not a single one of them had occured in the story.
Yes, it was unusual for the academy to have such a high number of fights in a day and more or less, he could agree that he was the cause for it.
However, the interference in the mother incident in itself wasn’t supposed to cause such a huge commotion.
It made no sense.
Apart from that mother incident and maybe the incident with Victor, he did not see himself as such a character or force that was supposed to be the root of such a huge problem in the academy.
Even further so when all of the things apart from that had occured in the game as well.
The original Azariah in the game was placed in A1, he was Alyssa’s bodyguard, he was looked down upon by Division 1 students as well.
So, it raised the confusion for him that how could this have possibly happened.
Was he being framed? Azariah was also supposed to be faced with multiple charges in the future but he didn’t expect it to be so early.
On deeper thinking, it couldn’t be. The academy had just started and the Indraths were very cautious and alert right now.
Any attemps to remove Azariah would not go unnoticed. They were fully prepared for any foreign threats.
And it was then that it clicked inside Azariah’s mind at the council meeting.
’Foreign Threats.’
That was it.
Being the first ranked university in the entirety of Nippon, Edo had its fair share of threats from foreign organizations.
Whether they were internal or other countries, it didn’t matter. All of them were very dangerous and had big influences.
These organizations were also a major part of the plot in the game, especially the first arc.
A terrorist organization by the name of Rosolith. They were one of the largest terrorist organizations out there, originating from the very roots of Nippon.
Though their reach spread out far in other countries as well, they had a direct competition with Edo.
With its history stretching decades back, Rosolith was against the idea of producing Synapths for anything other than violence.
They saw violence as the most pure form of art that a Synapth could do. And it should be the only thing they do.
Any other such application of magic went against their fundamentals and they considered the user or institute their lifelong enemy.
In the main plot, the first arc in the academy was actually based on one of their attacks on the first years in the upcoming events.
The main character, Yvan, would be crucial in stopping them, spreading the first traces of his reputation in the academy.
’Urgh, this is going to be troublesome.’
Though he wasn’t still completely sure it was the Rosolith responsible for what was happening, there was definitely an external influence in play.
It wasn’t him and he needed to clear his image from the academy council’s minds.
Unfortunately, Amanda or the other student members weren’t entirely convinced by his words.
Rightfully so as well since he couldn’t just say he knew about this from the game.
He needed to play his cards correctly to catch the culprit first. The one that kept sowing these seeds everywhere.
Plopping into his bed, Azariah massaged his temples.
’Ah, these few days are going to be tiring.’
Fortunately, he had someone convinced Amanda to send him in the disciplinary committee as well.
Not as a permanent member but as a temporary recuirtment for these situations.
Initially, the whole council was against his idea and even Amanda was having a hard time being convinced.
Until the most unexpected person vouched for him to Amanda.
Alyssa Indrath.
It was so unexpected that even he wasn’t expecting it in his wildest dreams.
Regardless, it made his plans much more easier as she vouched by saying she had seen his strength in both scenarios.
Fortunately, no one in the council knew that he had stopped it because of the student’s terminal failure.
The news had only spread that student Azariah Indrath had intervened.
With the word of an Indrath, it was hard for Amanda to ignore his request so after some back and forth it was finally approved.
Though he was curious as to why Alyssa stepped in. She obviously didn’t do it out of good will and her stare after the meeting conveyed that. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
’I just hope it doesn’t put me into deeper trouble.’
It was expected that Alyssa would ask for a return of her favour later on.
In any case, one of the main difficult parts of the plan had been done.
Now, he just needed to go to the Disciplinary Commitee tomorrow and introduce himself.
He didn’t expect to find the people behind this organization easily. At most, they were just students acting as lackeys for the main operation.
Causing discord among students proved to be no use for them, especially since the teachers or the authorities above didn’t concern themselves with such things.
Rosalith had no use if it didn’t do any harm to the academy so most likely they would use such chaos to weaken the internal security of the academy.
In the worst case, and probably the only case, this was all leading to very bigger attack.
And it was going to be soon.
’Not even the first day and I’m already stuck in this mess.’
These things weren’t the only problems for him.
Fine, he had gotten into the disciplinay comittee and he knew what was going to happen most likely ahead.
But what use was there to it when he had the strength of a cheeseburger?
’I need to get stronger.’
Fortunately, he had some plans for everything. Especially his ’Pixelation’ ability.
Azariah needed to understand what it was. It was going to be a huge help if he could get some understanding and control over it.
Since there were no meetings and different plans tomorrow, Azariah could finally get some piece of mind away from Alyssa.
From tomorrow, he had to start putting the work in.
Otherwise, he was going to be swept away with the masses in the plot just like any other side character.
