The King, or the Humanoid Toad, uses some kind of space lock around the city that stops them from using instantaneous movement.

At this time, the Celestial is planning to break it forcefully and have Wallace escape or at least, get the attention of the king’s soldier so he can focus on dealing with the troublesome King...

The Celestial Being floated and arrived near the barrier that is separating the city and the deep ocean.

He didn’t know how much time had passed as he continuously failed to get out of the bindings... At the very least, they seem to be incapable of further harming him which is a good thing.

They are probably already too exhausted just by maintaining this restriction.
