Magus: Rise of the Darkness Empress-Chapter 105: Ch : Potions and Seven Revolution Secret Art

After kicking open the metal chest, what Weiss found inside were a lot of papers. But not just any regular papers. These papers gave off the same feeling as the ones that Jonus had also used.

Weiss was quite excited to see them. These things seemed to be related to a magus. So Weiss immediately took some of the papers and she started to go through them.

But whatever was written in the paper, it was all written in a language that Weiss had no idea about. But after looking through the papers, she at least became sure about what was the topic written in the papers.

They were all experiment results. As Weiss herself had written countless such things, she was very familiar with it. Only the language was different here.

But if the contents of the metal chest were only this, then it was not really very valuable to someone who was not a magus. So there would be no reason why the count needed to bury this thing here in secret.

Just as Weiss had expected, under the pile of research papers, she found three viles of medicine. Actually Weiss guessed that they were not medicines but potions as she could feel an special feeling coming from them that she had only sensed from magical items so far.

If this was actually the case, then this discovery was definitely a big one. But still, there were a troubles associated with this.

Even after searching the chest thoroughly, Weiss did not find anything that had the effects of these potions written on them. In that case, without knowing exactly what this potion did, there was no way Weiss would be able to use them on anyone.

Still, this was not a big problem. Weiss just needed to do some research on these potions using a few guinea pigs and that way, she should be able to find the result that she needed very soon.

After taking everything from the metal chest, Weiss again used the special chemical to get rid of this Knight’s body. Obviously before doing that, the two ladies had looted his corpses and the gains were not bad at all.

The knight’s secret art that the count here had used was called "Silver Saber Secret art". It was quite a good secret art that boosted strength and dexterity. Among the secret arts that were not created or modified by Weiss, this secret art would be considered to be a high tier one.

So it made sense why that high level knight was searching for this secret art so desparately. It looked like the attributes of this art matched him quite well.

But what surprised Weiss was the secret art that the knight she had just killed used. And the reason of her surprise was the quality of the secret which was actually better than even the count’s "Silver Saber Secret Art" by a little margin.

The name of this secret art was "Seven Revolution Secret Art". The concept of this secret art was quite genius, so much so that even Weiss was somewhat impressed by it.

She was really looking forward or researching it thoroughly after returning back to the Souran castle. Just getting this secret art alone would have made this sudden night outing to be worth it, but she had even gotten extra gains of magical potions and various Magical research which for the time being, she was unable to read.

After gaining all this, Weiss lost some of her interest in continuing to watch the drama of this family. But it looked like Elise’s interest was still going strong. In that case, Weiss actually did not mind accompanying Elise for a bit more time.

So as the two ladies were about to go out of the castle while thinking about this matter, suddenly something big happened. The only remaining Knight of the Castle made his move and as for what he was trying to do, he was obviously trying to get his son the title of the next count.

Even though the other son had the support of most of the guards and soldiers of the castle, his side unfortunately did not have any official knight.

On the other hand, even though the official knight himself was stronger than anyone present near him on individual basic, he was still just a low grade knight.

So if a group of high and top grade apprentice knights attacked him together, then there was a very high chance that he would be defeated.

So even though his heart was screaming at him to use direct brute force to make his bloodline the next count. But his rationality and his brain was telling him that as he currently did not have the full advantage, it would be very dangerous to make a move.

So that was the reason why even after becoming hostile to one another face to face, neither of the sides were making any move. They were just observing one another with hostility and were doing nothing else.

Seeing this, Weiss judged that nothing of significance would happen tonight. If the ambitious knight was a bit more brave and was willing to take some risks, then the story tonight might have been different.

But as the knight in question turned out to be a coward, that did not end up happening. Now this game for the count’s seat would become too hectic and the lords from the neighbouring domains might start to meddle in this affair with their gain in mind.

And as the looting was almost over and the guards and soldiers of the noble heirs had started to take control over the castle, it looked like tonight’s commotion was coming to an end very soon.

As Weiss told Elise this, she nodded her head. Then both of them silently slipped away and went back to the inn.

After returning to their room through the same window, Weiss immediately went to the bed. But Elise did not and instead left the room. She was going to inform Peria about this outing and their gains. So Elise went to see what she was doing.
