Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 219: Fight me Leon
"Boss Leon"
"Sire"
"Senior"
As Leon and the rest walked down the street, several guards and members under Leon’s command came forward to greet him.
The enforcement unit was like the police force of the bloodserpent clan. They not only arrested traitors and punished clan memebers, they were also incharge of several regions around the bloodserpent clan.
This particular area, west of the main clan was Leon’s to protect. As such he was very popular here.
"You’re quite popular" Yankai commented as he watched not only guardsmen, but also store owners greet Leon.
Captains didn’t usually need to participate in any of the enforcement units activates. Except it was important they had underlings for that.
So why was Leon so popular? It wasn’t like he demeanour was any welcoming.
"Am I?" Leon responded with a question and kept on moving. He didn’t need to be told what was clearly obvious, he had firmly secured a foothold in this region even without the backing of the clan.
Leon had systematically pushed away enemy competition from the region and supported those who were loyal to him. There was no neutral party in this place, they all knew him because they were all loyal to him.
The tactics of the Blackwater gang was very useful in establishing this control he had over the region.
"Oh yes, what brought you to my humble abode?" After walking some more, Leon turned his head and asked causally.
"Oh? Yes, We....no I am here to release you from your duties here. The High Arbiter thinks you should be allowed to focus fully on your training and not bother with such trivialities" Yankai said calmly. Leon was now an outer deciple of the supreme leader, things just as governing a region outside the clan was a disrespect to his status.
What he needed to do was train so he could become powerful enough to stand side by side with his peers.
Unlike the rest, Leon was still a middle stage level 3 warlock. This was not optimal for someone of his status.
"Ohhh that again....." hearing the words of Yankai, a frown slowly emerged on Leon’s face.
The High Arbiter on several occasions had asked him to leave the matter of controlling this region and focusing on increasing his strength, to which Leon responded by saying he could do both.
But it seemed like he had been increasing the pressure for Leon these past few days.
"There’s no need for that, I have everything under control. I’ll see master about it very soon" Leon said before proceeding to fold his hands behind his back.
He had to see the High Arbiter and convince him that he didn’t need to step down. All his plans were at stake here and it was just before he could completely take off.

"Ohhhh, okay" Yankai was a bit confused about Leon’s refusal, but upon a few seconds of reasoning he could only nod his head and agree. It was something between Leon and the High Arbiter, he didn’t have a say after all Leon’s status was different now.
"Also, Victoria said I should give this to you" Yankai reached into his robes and pulled out a long invitation letter with the blood serpent crest on it.
"Ahh, finally" his smile broadened as he accepted the letter with his left hand.
His first batch of blood mist lillys were ready to go into the market but he had yet to solve the problem of who to supply to.
This invitation latter would solve that problem.
It was a letter of invitation to an auction being held in the very center of blood Rock City.
The blood unity auction.
One of the biggest auctions to hold this year was being held there. The most infulencial people from inside and outside of BloodRock city would flood the auction for one reason and one reason alone.
To break through.
The blood clans were known for one very essential thing . their ability to make treasures that refine the bloodlines of warlocks, this was why bloodrock city had so much importance in the sacred land and why they would never fall.
Leon would exploit this event to start accumulations.
"Haha, have fun brother Leon" Noticing Leon glee, Avon and Yankai smiled. Spending and flaunting money was a good get away. They did it sometimes too, maybe that was what he would need to break through who knows?
"We will get out of your hair for now brother, maybe later" nodding their head after seeing Leon in a trance state, both Yankai and Avon floated to the air and flew away.
"Sigh"
After a few seconds of staring into the distance Leon proceeded to place the invitation in his robes. Then almost immediately he started walking towards a completely different direction.
He soon arrived before a building where he went on to knock and enter with his hands folded behind his back.
A few hours later,
He existed and walked all the way back to his dojo without a second to waste.
"Welcome back"
As soon she he stepped into the dojo he was met with a strange scene. Arian was seated with a sword unsheathed in the middle of the courtyard.
"Are you good?"
Leon asked.
She rarely unsheathed that sword as if afraid that the air would dull its blade. But here she was leaving it exposed so openly.
"I feel it.....I’m at the door" Arian raised her head and stared right into his eyes.
"Oh? Is that so? Congratulations" Leon congratulated. Arian had been in the middle of level 3 for a while now, but she never stopped working hard always wanting to reach the peak.
This was because she felt in a way insufficient. The first time she met Leon, he had no power to speak of, now he was in the same level as her.
It hurt her pride, she wanted things to go back the way they were, she wanted her power back.
"Fight me Leon"
All of a sudden, Arian spoke causing Leon to frown deeply. She was challenging him to a fight.
