Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 242: Untitled.
Movement so fast that the rays of light before him had utterly failed to realize his departure. It was still cascading a figure in its lime light.
"Good evening Supreme leader" Leon turned around calmly and bowed slightly in the direction of the man before him.
The supreme leader had a tall and slender build with dark hair falling from his head and eyes as dark as the abyss.
"Hehe, 100% composure, I like it!!" The supreme leader laughed out loud, before turning around and walking back into the light, Where he meddled into his shadowy figure once again.
"So I hear that you’re on that path...like Malphas"
Looking outside the tent into the dark expanse that was the dry lands, the supreme leader spoke.
"Path?" Leon was stunned for a second. There was only one Path that joined him and the High Arbiter (Malphas Greyback) it was the Path of the sorcerer. But the High Arbiter and said time without number, that Leon was to keep his Path a secret.
Apart from his own personal deciples and Rengoku who he seemed to have a good relationship with. No one else knew.
"There’s no need to be cautious, I’ve known of Malphas for hundreds of years. I’m his benefactor" the supreme leader Shook his head. Greyback was but a kid when he found him, there was no secret between them and there could never be.
"I won’t speak too much about it since you’re uncomfortable. But I’m sure he has already told you about those who seek to kill all of your kind" he supreme leader continued.
"The Underwood Alliance?" Leon asked with a raised eyebrow.
This Alliance was formed by several warlocks whom had lost family to the designs of of Sorcerers. In a way they were in fact the victims, so no one tried to stop them from their target.
That was the least they could do.
"Yes, them." The supreme leader nodded before continuing. " from what I heard Rolona, one of their talents will be coming to Griffins Peak, so it’s best you keep your powers in check"
"We wouldn’t want you dying before accomplishing your goals would we?" He smirked.
Leon didn’t know this, but he himself was once a memeber of the underwood Alliance, not because of grief of anything....he joined to calm the tension amongst the clansmen who had suffered because of sorcerers.
Though, his membership was but for show. He understood that this Alliance was not to be reckoned with. They had the public in their hands and could easily rally them to their side.
Offending them would be a massive public relations Disaster.
"I understand" Leon nodded, he was already prepared for the possibility of him being chanced down by these fanatics a while ago. It wasn’t a big deal.
"Ehhhn, you say so, but I’m not sure you understand. Anyway, that’s not a problem" the supreme leader saw how nonchalant Leon was and shook his head.
These guys were enough to force him, a Quasi-level 5 warlock to give in and join them, who did Leon think he was to be so carefree?
" Zeke, come forward" the supreme leader called out and from the shadows of the tent a man in his 30s, stepped forward with a spear in hand.
"He will follow you around for the duration of our trip, his job is to make sure you stay out of the bulk of trouble that revolves around Griffins peak. That is all," the supreme leader spoke calmly and without pause. It was like a decree and caused Leon to frown.
He had plans for this trip, having someone tag along would cause him too much trouble....or was there an alternative motive behind this move of the supreme leader?
His mind quickly flashed to what Bran had said to him outside the tent.
There was little he could do though, shaking his head Leon bowed and thanked the supreme leader before existing the tent promptly.
"Hehe, A Drake huh? Let’s see how you do it" the supreme leader smirked as he watched Leon leave.
He had mixed emotions about Leon and this "project" of Malphas. On one side he was happy to get the Drake project back on track, on the other, he was just plain sad about what might come after.

The next day,
—Neighhh
The horses dragging the carriages of the bloodserpent clan neighed as they rode through the dusty dry lands.
They were inching closer and closer to Griffins Peak by the minute...some of them could already see it’s shiloutte in the distance.
"Hm?" At the top of a carriage at the very back of the Serpentine Spear head formation. A young man with white relaxed hair could be seen seated in a lotus position.
He was getting his morning training in just now when he felt a sudden tremor not too far away from their position.
"What’s...." Leon frown could only deepen as he soon made sense of the tremor from just now.
A few kilometers away, a small dust cloud was picking up fast and with Leon’s lumisight Eyes, he was able to instantly see what was coming their way.....it was a troop of armed men.
"Bone serpent clansmen" Leon said under his breath. He could recognise these guys from a mile away, Literally.
The trouble they had been avoiding all this while had caught up with them. They were going to be attacked.
"Don’t worry kid, our people will take care of it"
As Leon lamented, the guard Zeke rode to the front of the carraige and assured him.
At the same time a small squad of the supreme leaders personal guard cut of from the formation and began frantically riding towards the incoming assailants.
"With such a small troop?" Leon asked with skepticism in his voice. What could a squad of 5 men do to the troops of the bone serpent clan?
The bone serpent clan might not look it, but they had the same level of strength In their ranks as the bloodserpent clan.
"Hmm" Zeke did not reply....not until—
—Clang!!!!
A resounding clash rang through the air causing the very air to shake and reverberate into their eardrum.
"They can handle it," Zeke said in a gloating tone.
These were his men after all.
