Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 248: Training really hard

A volley of well-placed and well-calculated strikes were sent flying in the middle of the sparring session as Yolan Qarc went wild on Leon’s body.
Outside of the supreme leader’s disciples, Qarc was already recognized as the top talent in the clan. Be it in the uniqueness of his Site, or his speed of training and fighting prowess.
No one could compare with him in all honesty... that is, except for the people here.
"Fuck!!" Qarc barked in frustration as he threw a punch and it landed nowhere.
He knew that those chosen as disciples for the supreme leader would be exceptional, but he didn’t expect them to be this good.
He had released a volley of punches that no peak level 3 existence could dodge, but for some reason, this guy could. In fact, he dodged them so well that it had begun to strain his shoulder.
"Nice."
Leon muttered under his breath. For the past few days, he had been going down Griffins Peak at the dead of night and climbing up before morning with his bare hands.
This not only increased his physical strength, it also heightened his stamina by several folds. Coupled with Leon’s Lumisight Eyes, Qarc would find it close to impossible to win over Leon in an exchange of punches.
"Whatever," wiping the sweat from his brows, Qarc focused his entire body and entered a state of calm.
Being arrogant was one thing, but incompetence? He did not and would not subscribe to such.
"BloodSerpent work: Blood Churn Viper Fire."
As he spoke, several wisps of green flame from his pores took the form of vipers.

They didn’t even give Leon time to observe before launching at him at high speeds.
From different directions, they sped forward aiming for Leon’s head.
There weren’t a lot of flame attribute users in the Bloodserpent clan, and the few that existed were untalented at best with low chances of procreation.
That is, except for the Yolan family. They were the clan’s one and only flame-specialized family, and with that firepower, the title of strongest family was theirs for the taking.
"Hmp!!" As the viper head flame structures came flying towards Leon, he leaped backward and continued dodging with everything he had. His Site wasn’t too different from this, so he knew a thing or two about directional movements.
All it took was a minor twist or a major turn and an attack formation would become useless. He just needed to move faster than Qarc could think. Pretty easy, right?
Leon’s body kicked into overdrive as he continued dodging the attacks being rained down on him.
"Hmmmm," the supreme leader’s eyes were focused on Leon for a few minutes before breaking into a smile.
He could tell right now that Qarc was actually pushing Leon to his physical limits, but for some reason, he had a gut feeling that Leon was using this to train.
It sounded hilarious, despite being pushed to a corner, this kid was using it to train himself? It was insane... and soon enough Qarc realized this too.
"Asshole!!" He bellowed then launched himself toward Leon whilst maintaining his flame spell.
Leon was toying with him? Who in the entire clan had the gall to do something like that to him?
"Good, come forward," to Qarc’s frustration, Leon replied with enthusiasm. He wanted to see his body’s limits first, then he would bother about the sparring match.
And so they continued dancing in the circle, one frustrated by his attacks not landing and the other egging him on to continue.
Alas, it couldn’t last forever.
After a long drawn-out battle, Qarc stopped attacking and bent down to catch his breath. Leon wasn’t the only one moving here. Even with his advanced strength and endurance as a peak level 3 warlock, he still couldn’t help but get exhausted while trying to get Leon.
"I’ll fucking kill you."
It was humiliating, and he wouldn’t stand for it.
"BloodSerpent Site: Fla..." he called forth his Site. A flame-based Site wasn’t like the rest. It could cause serious damage not only to his opponent, but also to those around... it was not wise to use it here, but he had no choice.
He could not bear to lose to this kid from the boonies.
Fortunately, before he could completely release his Site, a hand struck the back of his neck, causing him to fall unconscious.
"Aiii, that was a good workout," Leon smiled bitterly as he watched the supreme leader holding onto Qarc’s limp body.
No one here knew how destructive Qarc’s Site was better than him. In normal circumstances, he would let this fight go on so he could see Leon’s limits. But they were guests here, he couldn’t let Qarc burn down this place.
"Let’s continue this another time," the supreme leader shook his head before placing Qarc on his back.
The kid might not be a direct disciple of his, but he still had to give him at least some basic preferential treatment.
After all, he was the only son of the current Yolan family generation. His right-hand man’s offspring.
"Yes, master," all the disciples stood up and bowed before scattering in different directions.
"Kid, come over here."
As they all scattered, Zeke’s voice sounded, his eyes fully focused on Leon’s sweaty body.
The kid was doing a good job of hiding it, but he was absolutely exhausted and being in such close proximity with the poisonous flames of Yolan Qarc didn’t make things any better.
"What a monster," Zeke muttered, Leon was causing himself so much pain just for training? Why? It didn’t make much sense.
"Ahh? Don’t worry about it" Leon saw Zeke with a hot towel with some boiled medical leaves on the side. This made him smile bitterly, when did he become some young master that needed to be taken care of after a fight?
It wasn’t necessary, he knew how to take care of himself.
Right before Zekes very eyes, a young man passed by and before he knew it Leon was gone also.
