Manaless Mage-Chapter 283: Skills fully unlocked[2]

A good example were the skills "Mana sense" and "Energy control", which had been upgraded to "Mana drain" and "Energy Manipulation", just as the system said.

While they were now back to level one, it didn’t matter much to him since he could just level them up again.

Besides, he was sure they were now more powerful than before, evolving into brand new skills along with him.

He had also unlocked a new set of skills called "Battle Arts", which included [Dual sword mastery] and [Dagger mastery].

The latter, he was sure he got due to his experiences using a dagger at the beast forest, but what he didn’t expect was for him to unlock [Dual sword mastery] also!

Dual swords were Leon’s main weapons, and by watching Leon fight in the other timeline, it seemed like the system had adapted his fighting style as a skill!

However, what shocked him the most were the long list of skills beneath his newly unlocked fire element.

All those skills... he easily recognised them as skills Leon had used at one point or another!

Like the [Flame sacrifice] and [Dragon wisp], which were both powerful skills Leon had used when fighting Vordmont.

Although he only gained a small fraction of Leon’s total fire abilities, it was still absurd.

To think the fire element that he comprehended merely minutes ago, would shoot up to the top in terms of sheer power, containing a total of eight skills!

’Watching Leon in that timeline... has really helped me a lot.’ Harry thought, feeling grateful that he gained a lot from the experience.

He then turned to his other skills, deciding to check them out one by one.

’Mana drain.’ He thought, pulling up the skill description from the system.

The description was very vague, yet he managed to understand it.

’There’s no daily limit... no cool down, so I can use it anyhow I want!’ Harry thought, his eyes shining with joy.

After that, he checked the description of energy manipulation, which was even more vague than "mana drain".

Nonetheless, it didn’t surprise him.

By now, he was already used to the system’s vague description of skills, and besides, their names were already self-explanatory enough.

’Energy manipulation.’ Hey thought, activating the skill with a single thought.

His eyes slowly lit up with a bright blue glow, and the energy, rapidly flowing to his right hand.

’It’s... so easy.’ He mumbled inwardly, redirecting the energy to the center of his palm.

A small white ball bloomed above his hand, rapidly blooming in size until it became rounded like a basketball.

A couple of thick blue and golden lines slowly swirled around the ball, softly mixing with one another in an enchanting spiral.

Harry’s eyes shone in a daze as he stared at the energy ball, rolling it around his hands like it was a toy.

Usually, doing something like this would be extremely difficult... close to impossible in fact.

Even if he somehow managed to pull it off, the energy ball would be a lot smaller, and not as vibrant as this.

But now, with the use of [Energy Manipulation], he was able to create an energy ball, and it felt just like breathing.

Channelling his energy with [Energy control] usually felt a lot more crude, since he had to forcefully ’drag’ his energy along.

The case with the new upgraded version was a lot different though, as the energy simply flowed along with his wishes, greatly reducing the work he had to do.

"Woah..." He mumbled, gently pushing the ball to his other hand, softly bouncing it on the back of his palm.

However, his face suddenly twisted into a frown at the sight of the blue and golden lines trailing around the energy.

Compared to the when he first channeled his energy, they were now a lot thicker in mass, even occupying a considerable portion of the energy ball.

’Why... does my energy have these exactly?’ He thought, placing a finger above one of the golden lines.

The line suddenly latched unto his finger like gum, and all the golden streaks around the energy were rapidly pulled towards It, forming into a small golden ball above his finger.

Harry slowly swirled the golden ball of energy, scanning it thoroughly with his senses.

He drew out the blue lines also, moulding it into a small ball which floated in front of him.

With that, there were now three balls of energy hovering before him, each one similar, yet very different.

But still, all three of them felt strangely familiar to him... like they were a part of him.

’Leon, why does my energy have three colours?’ He inwardly sent out a question to the voice within his head, waiting patiently for an answer.

Unlike his, Leon’s energy only had a white colour, burning brightly like a flame. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ

At first, he didn’t think much of this, but after witnessing all that went down in the other timeline, he started to consider that the possibility that there were more to it that met the eye.

[It’s something unique to you Harry, probably from the dormant energy within you before you gained the system.]

[My energy merged with your soul, mixing with the dormant energy within you in order to awaken your manaless mage’s powers.]

Leon spoke within his mind, a soft sigh escaping his lips.

’Yeah... I guess you’re right.’ Harry thought, merging the three balls back into one.

His gaze lingered on the larger ball formed, along with the two colourful lines running around it, and a strange flashed across his eyes.

However, he quickly brushed the matter off his mind, sucking the ball of energy back into his body.

He summoned up his skills panel once more, scrolling through it to find more interesting skills.

Most of them were pretty self-explanatory like [Super jump], which used his energy to spring him to a height of over five meters.

Despite its rather simple nature, Harry could still see its usefulness, especially when used in combat.

’Night vision.’ He thought, calling up another skill description.

’So even the dark can’t blind me anymore... how great.’ Harry thought, nodding his head slightly.

—Complete immunity to poisons, de-buffs and any toxic substance.

With this skills, any form of de-buff was rendered useless against him, meaning, he was now invisible towards most elemental attacks.

’Good.’ Harry thought, his lips curling into a smirk.

’Great regeneration.’ He quickly went over to the neck skill, and the characters before him changed, replaced with the skill description for the skill.

[Great regeneration] was also one of the skills that were upgraded after his evolution.

Its former name was [Healing and low-level regeneration], but the skill evolved along with him, turning into the new skill [Great regeneration].

—Rapidly regenerate from any injury as long as there’s still life and energy present.

’Any... injury!’ Harry thought, his eyes gleaming in excitement.

That meant no matter how grave his injury was, he would be able to rapidly regenerate so long as he was still breathing!

He wasn’t really worried about the energy aspect, with how fast his energy regenerated, he doubted a situation would ever come where his energy would be completely depleted.

’This upgrade, is really something.’ He thought, nodding his head in pride.

Compared to the older version, this one was a lot better, and would also help him regenerate a lot faster.

’Duplicate.’ Harry thought, causing the characters before him to change once again.

However, when he saw the information displayed in front of him, he couldn’t help but gasp in disbelief.
