Manaless Mage-Chapter 317: An invisible power
Chapter 317: Chapter 317: An invisible power
Harry didn’t even look back. He didn’t need to.
His focus remained on Adolf—the same way a hawk watches a dying rabbit try to run.
"I wonder," Harry said softly, almost musing.
Adolf flinched again, his breath catching.
"I asked you a question!!" He screamed, his voice cracking with hysteria. "Who are you?!"
Unbeknownst to him, Harry wasn’t even referring to him, but instead, to the set of tabs floating in front of him.

[He’s actually strong, his stats... are a bit abnormal.]
Harry nodded in agreement, a strange glint flashing across his eyes.
He scanned a few others, only to see that their all has similar stats, except the other eight behind him were still stage four Elementalists.
’That strange transformation sure gave them a huge boost...’ He thought. ’But they’re still no match for me.’
Meanwhile, Adolf kept burning in anger as he watched Harry ignore his words, talking to empty air instead.
Never in his life had he been ignored like this, but now, a little kid from a backwater academy was snubbing him.
’How dare you...?’ He thought, gnashing his teeth.
"I asked you a question... answer if you don’t want to die!" He shouted, the smoke around his body growing slightly stronger. "Who the hell are you... to stand in my way?!"
Harry tilted his head. "Isn’t it obvious?"
He raised one hand—slowly.
Bright arcs of blue lightning and bright red flame began to crackle along his palm, coiling like twin serpents.
"I’m the end of your mission."
Fwoooosh!
In the blink of an eye, energy erupted from his body again—this time a spiral of pure force that flattened the nearby grass and sent the nearby corrupted cultists skidding back.
Adolf raised his hand instinctively, trying to shield himself, but the pulse of pressure still rocked through him like a tidal wave.
"Damn it... DAMN IT!!" He screamed, voice frantic now.
He couldn’t let this boy live.
Not if he knew his name.
Not if he could wield power like that.
He turned to the other dark guild members—those who still stood, their bodies twisted and monstrous, but trembling now.
"All of you!!" He roared. "Attack him!! Kill him now!! Don’t let him use another one of those spells!!!"
The corrupted figures didn’t hesitate.
They lunged forward at once, claws slashing, tendrils whipping, magic flashing violently through the clearing.
Harry exhaled once—and vanished.

He shot forward like a bolt of lightning, too fast to follow.
The first man didn’t even realize what had happened until his vision flipped.
Harry’s dagger sliced clean through his neck—so fast it cauterized the wound before a drop of blood could escape.
The second one raised a shadow barrier, but Harry bypassed it with a blink, appearing behind him mid-air and plunging a lightning-coated knee into his spine.
Crack!!
The man dropped like a puppet with cut strings.
Harry twisted mid-motion, landing lightly and flinging a small orb of bright red flames behind him.
Fwoom!
It detonated in a sharp, contained burst—vaporizing two more who had tried to flank him.
Adolf could barely keep up.
His eyes darted left and right, trying to trace the blur of motion that Harry had become.
"Where is he...?!"
Suddenly—
Harry appeared right in front of him.
Face to face.
Too fast.
Too close.
"You talk too much," Harry whispered.
Crack!!!
His fist, coated in layered energy, slammed directly into Adolf’s gut—sending the group leader flying back through a tree, then a boulder, before tumbling across the dirt in a shower of sparks and shattered wood.
The leader groaned, blood spilling from his lips.
He forced himself to his feet, bones cracking, smoke still swirling desperately around him.
"You... you monster..."
Harry didn’t reply.
He simply raised one hand.
Crackle!
Blue lightning appeared around his arm, crackling violently as it gathered above his palm.
Adolf’s eyes widened in terror.
"No... NO! WAIT—!"
Too late.
Crackle!!
A powerful blast of lightning suddenly erupted from Harry’s hand, slamming into his chest with immense force.
Zzz!!
The force behind the blast sent him flying once again, the lightning biting mercilessly into his flesh.
His body bounced on the ground countless time, smashing through trees, before finally sliding to a half.
"Ugh!!" He grunted, coughing out blood once more.
"Don’t worry... I won’t kill you." Harry’s voice came from above, sending a chill down his spine. freewebnσvel.cøm
Even though he was launched several meters away, Harry was still somehow standing in front of him, which spoke volumes of how fast he had moved.
"You’ll serve a greater purpose to me than that." The boy said, flashing a smug smirk at him.
’How dare you... humiliate me... like this?’ Adolf thought, clenching his clawed hands into a tight fist.
He didn’t even care about the claws digging into the flesh, or the fresh blood slowly trickling down his palms.
All that filled him were anger and frustration at the humiliation he had faced at Harry’s hand.
"Don’t you... underestimate me!" He suddenly, springing back up on his feet.
"Ohh..." Harry muttered, a bit amused by his sudden bravery.
However, he had already expected it.
After all, the man was a stage five Elementalist, and coupled with the boost from his strange transformation, he was stronger than the average stage five Elementalist.
The dark smoke around his body rapidly twisted, flowing down to his hands.
"I’ll teach you some manners, brat!" He shouted, swinging his hand at Harry.
Fwoosh!!
A large, dark claw mark suddenly bursted out, slicing through the air at terrifying speed.
Harry’s eyes flashed as he stared at it, and he swiftly pulled out his daggers, channeling his energy through them.
Swoosh!
Before the attack hit him, he quickly swung his daggers, unleashing two crescent arcs of energy.
The energy arcs collided with the dark claw marks, and within an instant, it was evaporated out of existence.
However, even after breaking through the attack, the arcs kept moving, slashing Adolf’s chest.
"Ugh..." Adolf grunted, looking down at the two cuts on his chest.
Thick blood slowly oozed out of them, dropping to the ground.
’What did he do...?’ He thought, turning his gaze back to Harry.
He had noticed something, Harry was using some kind of invisible power to attack.
It was the same thing that happened when he wiped off his domain... all he saw was a strange gust of wind, and the darkness vanished.
He was sure it wasn’t mana, since he hadn’t been able to sense it, but at the same time, hd didn’t know what it was.
Even now, he felt like he was looking at an ordinary human... with no trace of mana oozing out of his body.
’How strange... just what the hell is he?’ He thought, the frown on his face deepening.
"What’s wrong?" Harry taunted once again, waving his daggers at him.
"Aren’t you going to attack... or would you rather I attack first?"
"I said... don’t look down on me! On my honourable mission!" Adolf shouted, clenching his fists.
"You think you’re so strong..." He muttered, the smoke around his body growing even thicker. "But I’ll show you... how wrong you are!!"
