Married For Now-Chapter 248: FIRST HEARTBREAK
"CHUL-AH, Sung-ah, are you not going to say goodnight to your dada?" Sohee asked after tucking the twins in bed. "Your dada will go to work tomorrow early, so you might not see him during breakfast."
Tomorrow was the weekend, so the kids didn’t have school.
But, unfortunately, Heedo had a business meeting in Jeju tomorrow.
Kim Heedo would visit the luxury hotel and resort that Ilsung Group built on Jeju Island, and his husband was in charge of the project.
It wasn’t the industry that Kim Heedo was aiming for.
But my husband is determined to experience working in SG Group’s affiliate companies first before aiming for what he truly wants. All of them would be under his power anyway once he becomes the Ilsung Group’s chairman.
"I’m not going to say goodnight to Dada," Kim Woochul said stubbornly, even closing his eyes after saying ’hmph’ loudly. "I hate Dada."
Aigoo.
Kim Heedo was standing behind Sohee, but he could hear his husband’s heart breaking from there.
My poor honey.
"M-Me, too," Kim Woosung said, immediately closing his eyes. "I’m not going to say ’good night’ to Dada either."
Oh, no.
Kim Heedo hadn’t uttered a word yet, but the Alpha’s heartbreak was loud and clear.
Haaah.
Sohee thought the fight between Kim Heedo and Kim Woochul earlier was cute, but not anymore.
"Kim Woochul, Kim Woosung, you’re being rude to your father."
The twins flinched, but they didn’t open their eyes.
Sohee was about to scold his children again, but Kim Heedo wrapped his arms around his shoulders as if to calm him down.
"It’s alright, honey," Kim Heedo said in a calm but sad voice. "Don’t scold the twins." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
Aigoo.
He’s too soft on our babies.
"Good night, Chul-ah and Sung-ah," Kim Heedo said softly. "Dada will bring home yummy foods when I return from my trip."

"HYUNG... the twins hate me..."
Pfft.
Sohee didn’t want to make his husband feel bad, so he tried his best not to laugh.
Hence, he just combed his fingers through Kim Heedo’s hair.
His husband was hugging his waist tight, his face buried in Garam’s stomach.
I can feel his tears soaking through my pajamas...
"They don’t hate you, honey," Sohee said gently, comforting his husband. "They only said that because they were upset. Don’t worry, I’ll talk to them later."
"Please don’t scold them, Hyung."
"I won’t."
But I have ways to make stubborn children listen to me.
"Hyung, am I overreacting?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, Woochul is only six years old. Plus, I also know that Song Gunwoo doesn’t see our son in a romantic way. That kid is a kid like our son, after all. But I still don’t like how Woochul seems to be obsessed with Song Gunwoo."
"I’m worried about that, too," Sohee admitted. "I don’t want Woochul to have serious feelings for Gunwoo. Though I wouldn’t mind it anymore once they are both adults."
"No, I would still be against their relationship by then."
"Aigoo, Heedo-ya. Are you the type of father who couldn’t let go of his children?"
"It’s not like that, Hyung," Kim Heedo said, and then he raised his head. "I just don’t want to be in-laws with Sihyuk Hyung-nim."
Pfft.
Sohee couldn’t help but laugh at Kim Heedo’s reasoning.
Song Sihyuk was now the chairman of the SG Group— the biggest conglomerate in the country, second only to Ilsung Group— and Song Gunwoo’s father.
Sihyuk Hyung-nim is also Garam Hyung’s husband.
"I don’t mind being family with Garam Hyung," Kim Heedo added. "But being family with Sihyuk Hyung-nim is a little, uh, uncomfortable?"
"Well, I totally get what you mean by that, honey. Sihyuk Hyung-nim is a little dangerous."
Plus, Sohee hadn’t forgotten how much Lim Garam suffered because of Song Sihyuk.
That kind of person doesn’t change easily.
Having said that...
"Heedo-ya, why are you already thinking about our son’s marriage? Woochul is only six years old," Sohee reminded his husband, and then he cupped his face between his hands. "Plus, Gunwoo is going to study abroad. I don’t think Kim Woochul can stop him. So, as long as we don’t give in to the twins’ wish to migrate to the US, then what’s the problem?"
Kim Heedo let out a frustrated sigh. "I know that, but I’m still sad that our baby is throwing a tantrum because of some Alpha..."
Pfft.
And that ’some Alpha’ happens to be the only heir of SG Group.
"Don’t worry, Heedo-ya. Gunwoo is a decent boy— he was raised by Garam Hyung, after all," Sohee said, smiling. "I’m sure he won’t break our son’s heart cruelly."
***
"I’M SORRY, but I have no intention of marrying you, Woochul-ah."
Aigoo.
Sohee didn’t know how to react when Song Gunwoo rejected Kim Woochul with a gentle smile on his face.
He looks like an angel, but his words are pretty cold...
At times like this, Sohee could see that Song Gunwoo was really Song Sihyuk’s son.
The thirteen-year-old Alpha was taller than his peers. In fact, the kid looked like he was already in the last year of middle school instead of a graduating elementary school student.
Yes, that tall.
Moreover, Song Gunwoo inherited his parents’ good looks.
"I’m sorry about this, Sohee-ya," Lim Garam whispered, sighing while shaking his head. "That boy could be as blunt as Sihyuk Hyung sometimes."
"It’s alright, Hyung," Sohee whispered back. "At least, it’s not enough to make Woochul cry."
Yet, at least.
Anyway, Lim Garam and his son Song Gunwoo visited Sohee’s house.
It was normal for their friend group to gather every weekend.
Our other friends will be here later.
For now, Sohee was having a little fun watching the ’confrontation’ between Kim Woochul and Song Gunwoo while the two were having pastries in the garden for their afternoon tea.
Chul-ah, don’t cry...
"Why do you not want to marry me, Hyung?" Kim Woochul asked bluntly. "I’m the prettiest in our entire school."
Aigoo.
Sohee felt second-hand embarrassment from his oldest son’s declaration, especially when Lim Garam chuckled.
Chul-ah, you inherited your father’s arrogance...
"Well, I don’t know about that since I only see a cute dumpling when I look at you, Chul-ah," Song Gunwoo said kindly while smiling. The kid probably meant that in a positive way. "Plus, I like noonas and hyungs who are at least two years older than me. Sorry, Chul-ah."
Age was something that Kim Woochul couldn’t change about him.
And my son knows that.
That was when Kim Woochul burst into tears.
Sohee’s heart broke for his son, but...
First loves are supposed to hurt, baby.
