"Oh really, should I take it as a threat, Sebastian?"

"I didn’t say you should but to be frank, I think your authority is devouring you in a whole. Well then," he stepped towards her still having his hands pocketed, he strode towards her with a smirk on his face.

"I heard a lot about your mission, didn’t you know we missed you a lot," he said as he moved closer to whisper in her ear.

"But sister, what am I sensing, i heard that you were having special moments with our enemy, I just want to be clear that soon enough you wouldn’t decide to betray us," he retrieved his head so he could stare at her and then he placed his hands on her shoulder gently adjusting the hem of the dress.

Abi swore she was cursing inwardly, bitting her lip from within, she felt like giving him a befitting reply by beating him, her hands rolled in a fist about to respond but then her attention was taken away when she heard Leo speak.

"Ma’am, the car is ready," he informed as Abi retreated herself from making an attempt.

"It seems I will be seeing you later, brother," she said with a smile and then she turned around leaving there clearly angered by Sebastian’s words.

She wondered why he decided to come to her place.

She just hoped he was no up to mischief.

At that case, it reminded her as she raised her wristwatch to take at the security camera video that was placed in her Arthur’s room.

As she noticed Arthur’s expression, for some reasons she felt a bit disappointed and guilty but then, she shook her head, this was not the time to be concerned about what his feelings was.

His father was her enemy and whatever she was doing was to get to him even if it was going to hurt her.

"Good day, my little one," she said in a whisper before they reached the elevator.

They got to the entrance of the building and the gates of the building was opened for her as Leo got his card scanned before exiting the building.

Just as the sun rayed on them, a billionaire car was parked outside for her, Leo walked towards the door and then opened the door as she swiftly entered then after that Leo got it closed and then stayed outside just in case she had any information.

"If Father asks for my presence, tell him I’m at home," Abi said as she lowered the window of the car with shades on.

"Actually Ma’am, Sir is at home that’s why the car came for you."

"Okay then, it seems I’ll be seeing him at home then," she said in a cold tone and then closed the window alerting the driver it was time to move as the car migrated away.

"Grandma, where’s mummy?" Arthur asked for the umpteenth time when he couldn’t find her around.

He woke up the next day and just to receive a kiss from his mother, there was none, the nanny informed him that it was time for him to take his bath.

He did as accordingly still expecting to see his mother but she was out of sight, just after then his grandmother arrived.

Neither his father nor mother was at sight, Arthur was questioning about their presence.

Vixen had called out to his mother and Enim’s mother since he was going to be busy for some days, they were the only one who could look out for Arthur at the moment so he had no choice but to them.

Phebe had a lot of questions about Abi but then he decided he was going to explain later but as for now, what she knew was the instruction given from her son.

She stared at the poor boy, how could she tell him that his father is off to only God knows where, he looked terrified and troubled, the only thing she wished for was that her son knew what he was doing.

They couldn’t just leave this little one in dark, seeing those inquiring eyes of his that wanted answers.

She heaved a deep breath as she stretched her hand to him so she could place a hand on his chin.

"Well son, your mother and father had an emergency, is their jobs and you know that if they don’t want to disappoint other then they will have to head to their offices."

"But grandma, Mummy always kisses me good morning before she leaves, why will she be in a hurry today? "

" Uh-huh? " she held her tongue trying to think of something to say when Ana interfere.

" Oh my little one, why are you worried. I know my smart one wouldn’t just stay silent like that, my grandson is just as smart as his grandmothers and so he wouldn’t settle with an answer that is a lie. So I’m going to tell you the truth, actually, your father is going to be away for sometime because he has an important business to attend to and your mother—" she stretched her hand to take an ipad from one of the maids who obediently revealed the content that Abi had recorded a while ago.

"Your mother said we should give you this just in case her little one is asking so many questions."

Just as Arthur stared at the video, he saw Abi record him and her in his room, he was still asleep as Abi carefully recorded herself giving him a kiss on the head.

"My little one," she said as she played with his hair then she turned to the camera.

"I’m sure that you’ll be curious about my whereabouts when you’re awake Arthur I want to tell you that Mummy has to go now. Don’t frown your face, just wait and listen to me okay?" The grandmas turned turned to Arthur just to see he was exactly about to change his expression but then he remained calm since he heard her words.

" Mummy have to go now because she needs to meet her father. Your grandpa is not feeling well and if you want to see your grandfather you just have to endure my absence for some while and then you’ll see once again with your grandfather. Arthur while I’m away I want you to be a good boy to your father, your Nanny and oh, your grandmothers. Don’t trouble them because of my absence, if you don’t do as I say I wouldn’t come back and I know that’s what you don’t want right?"

" No mummy," Arthur responded with a sadden look on his face just to feel his grandmother’s embrace as she gently caressed his arm and then she kissed him n the head.

Arthur continued to watch the video.

" So my darling, I promise you that soon enough you’ll see me and you know my bonus gift for you so then, I think my surprise for you is no longer a surprise since I’ve told you but I wouldn’t tell you when I’m going to arrive, you just have to be patient and be a good boy my sweetheart, okay, " she said with a smile and then blew kiss on towards the camera before ending the video.

" So now, that you know why your mother isn’t around, Arthur, you promise to be a good boy for your mother? " Ana questioned as Arthur nodded.

" Yeah grandma, I promise to be a good boy, pinky promise, " she said as he raised his pinky finger.

" Okay, I know you’ll be a good boy, common Arthur, you have to go now, I’m sure that your food must be ready, " Ana chuckled as she played with his hair and soon enough, his Nanny came forward so she could take him to where his food will be served.

" How did you get that video? " Phebe questioned when the door was closed.

" The maid gave it to me. Good thing Abi made that video before she left or else who knows how we’re going to handle that boy, " she said in a tone of relief.

" You’re right. I really didn’t think that my son will take someone who’s father is sick. "

" Well you know the truth, Arthur is all of a sudden obsessed about her like she’s his mother and everytime I set my eyes on her, I can’t help but be reminded about Enim."

" So do I, her soul stills wonders in my heart. "

" I wonder how Vixen must have felt when she was here. It will be a lot to handle for him, the women he loved in his life eventually found a way to depart from him. "

" Shh Ana, don’t say that about Vixen. Besides, she said it herself, soon or later she’s going to come back, but—" Phebe frowned recalling her words and then she turned to Ana.

" Why did you say that Vixen loves Abi? "

" What? " she opened her mouth into a stunned expression.

" You don’t know that your son has feelings towards this woman? " Ana added.
