Married to my nemesis-Chapter 194: Fight
Vixen’s arm was nicely wrapped around Abi’s hand as they headed to their seats.
Once they got there, Abi first took her seat taking a bidder’s number palm stick.
Just then she had Vixen’s look on her as she placed a small smile on and then diverted her gaze to the hand which held the instrument to alert her bidding.
While she was concentrated on that, she saw Vixen’s hand stretch to her hand, she raised her head to take a look at him and then lowered her head to his hand just to see he was about to hand her a device for her to transfer her bidding.
"Take this, you’ll have to link your account to it. If you’re able to get a bidding done, you’ll transfer your money immediately and—" he stretched his hand to one of the men who placed a microphone on a customized pillow for him to take from.
He placed as microphone on her dress when she was calm for him to do what he wanted to.
She watched Vixen adjust himself, he was gentle not to make a mistake as he placed the microphone on her region side of her chest.
Just when he was trying to place the mini microphone on her, he touched a bit of her skin.
Abi raised her head as a moan escaped her lips.
Vixen immediately recognized it and then he raised his head just to speak immediately.
"I’m sorry about that—" he was about to apologize but then Abi held his hand and then took the other device from him.
"You know what, I’ll do it by myself," she timidly said and then she began to do it, just for Vixen to call for assistance.
She was assisted in what she setting it and soon enough, she was ready to make her bidding.
As Abi’s eyes concentrated on the events, Vixen couldn’t help but peek to see her calm.
The bidding continued but Abi hadn’t made a price yet.
Vixen turned to her wondering when she was going to raise her number.
He adjusted himself on his seat and then came a bit closer to her.
"Are you not going to make a choice?" He whispered into her ear as Abi turned to him.
"I think is not my time yet," she said.
Meanwhile, she was expecting for the perfect time for her team to scrutinized the items since they weren’t around any fortified environment.
She played with her palm stick, patiently waiting, she needed just one moment.
Thankfully she was close enough for her to get information.
As the device was carefully moved towards the stage, she made sure her necklace was able to turn in direction and just as her men got their goal.
They informed her the bidding was going to take place on an antique painting, behind it, they were able to detect the device.
Abi placed a smile on and then after the bidding for the one she needed to be done was finished, she raised her hand when the bidding started from seven hundred million.
Vixen turned to look at her a bit surprised but she gave a serious smile, continuing the bidding, she managed to release a billion for the for the bid.
Just then Vixen came a little bit towards her while she sent the amount to the agency.
"Don’t you think you’re spending a bit too much for a painting."
Abi placed a smile on as she nodded.
"I know, but what can I do. I want to make sure my partner gets the best," she said as she came close to his ear and then she whispered to him.
She retracted her view a bit and then looked at him with a sly expression.
"I think is time for me to go, is nice to meet you. Vixen Joe," she said as she stood up and then gently marched away from the auditorium but before she could get the door, she expected to receive an information from Matthew who she tried contacting but he didn’t give a response.
"Matthew," she called out once again and then she turned around when she heard the voice of an unfamiliar individual.
"I don’t know who you may be but I know you want to see your partner alive. If you don’t want to get his dead body instead then i ask of you— patiently move to the back of the auditorium," a frown settled on her face, she was about to speak but then the call got disconnected.
"Mathew! " She called gently a tactful about her manner.
Her eyes surveyed the room but from wherever she couldn’t find him anywhere. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
She looked terrified then she tried to call her agent but there was no connection.
Was it possible they had disconnected the signal in the auditorium, as her eyes examined everywhere she hoped to find Matthew’s presence.
There was two options at the moment, either she goes and take the painting so she could see the device or she saves her brother.
She felt perplexed at the moment but the right one was important, it was wise if does what she thought was right.
She came out of the auction house and then followed the men who took her to the place where he bidding was going to be settled.
As she matched up to the room, she couldn’t help but pray that her brother was okay.
At least the security team will be alert and try to save her brother.
When she got to the room, she did everything that made the deal complete.
"Is nice doing business with you, Ma’am," the auctioneer said as she placed a smile on.
Soon enough, they all left leaving her with the painting and what Abo had desired.
Finally, they were able to get their hands on something the community had always wanted.
The device contained a chip which could control the entire world.
A chip that had all records of governors, states, countries, kingdoms, name it, it had it’s hand on everyone that claimed to exist in the world.
Just when she was left alone, she looked at the painting that was properly displayed in it’s cover.
She walked up to it and then unlocked the cover and then she began tear out pieces of the painting.
Soon enough the painting was halfway destroyed when she saw the small cassette like device, she reached for it and then marched up to the door.
This was her chance now, when she headed for the door, she was about to open but then it was locked.
Abi looked at the door knob in shock, she struggled to open but it didn’t.
She looked around when she heard a door in the room open and then, there were three hefty men that came out the bathroom.
Abi nearly gasped as she looked at the men, they walked up to her with a ruthless view on their expressions, that meant, all this was planned.
She looked down to sight the device and then she raised her head with a feisty look on.
She was not going any where without a fight.
The men who stayed at the other side of the room obviously conveyed the message that they were going to retrieve the device but when they saw she clinched onto, they were alert she was not going to let go.
Among the men, one of them walked towards her about to reach for her hand but then Abi used her elbow to hit him on the ear and then she kicked him on the stomach.
She growled as her expression turned cold and then she slapped the man that once again.
She walked up to the other man and then she split just when she was about to get hit and then used her leg to singlehandedly fall him to the ground.
She growled as she gripped the device and constantly hit the man who’s head severely collapsed on the ground.
The others recovered from their defeat and then they walked towards her since she was distracted just to forcefully hit her on the wall.
Abi’s back hit the wall with a thud.
She winced in pain but then she was fast to divert her position since they were heading for her.
She took the ear for the individual and then used her finger to plunge the hole.
A scream from him and then she raised her heel furiously using it bore the skin of his lap.
She turned to the others and swiftly whirled just to lower her head when they were about to attack her and then she used the device to hit one on the chest.
Abi’s face heist the device and then she lowered her head around the catch of one of the guy.
She groaned as she landed a painful hit on the guy’s groin.
While that one fell, she was taken by the hand and then slammed on the wall, a cry came out of her mouth but she picked herself in spite of the blood that flow down her temple.
She knew she had to find a way out of the place as fast as she could.
