Chapter 76: 76 - where am I

~Elara’s POV

"I want you in me, Darlon," I said, panting.

"You have no idea how much I want you," he said, smiling between our kisses.

Everything outside the world ceased to exist, while inside it, my entire body strained toward his.

My eyes closed against the surge of arousal I felt at his authoritative tone. God, he smelled good. His powerful frame radiated heat and hunger, spurring my own wild desire for him. I wanted him so bad.

His lips brushed against my ear. One of his hands pressed flat to my stomach, the fingers splaying to urge me back against him. He was as aroused as I was, his cock hard and thick against my lower back.

The hand he’d had at my waist was now resting on the curve of my hip, tightening reflexively and driving me mad. He stared, his gaze searingly intense.

"Kiss me," he said hoarsely.

"Oh my gosh!" Panting softly, I licked my dry lips. He groaned, tilted his head, and sealed his mouth over mine. I sighed, and his tongue dipped inside, tasting me in long, leisurely licks. His kiss was confident, skilled, and just the right side of aggressive to turn me on wildly. Then my hands were in his hair. I pulled on the silky strands, using them to direct his mouth over mine. He growled, deepening the kiss, stroking my tongue with lush slides of his own. I felt the raging beat of his heart against my chest. He lifted me off my feet.

"I want you, Elara. But are you sure you want to do this?"

I was pressed full-body against him, achingly aware of every hot, hard inch of him.

"Yes, Darlon," I kissed him back as if I could eat him alive. My skin was damp and too sensitive, my breasts heavy and tender. My clit throbbed for attention, pounding along with my raging heartbeat. I was vaguely aware of movement, and then the bed was against my back. He was leaning over me with one knee on the bed and the other foot on the floor. His left arm supported his torso while his right hand gripped the back of my knee, sliding upward along my thigh in a firmly possessive glide.

In a daze, I watched his body lower to mine, my legs sliding apart to accommodate the width of his hips. My muscles strained with the urge to lift toward him, to hasten the contact between us that I’d been craving.

Lowering his head, he took my mouth again, bruising my lips with a fine edge of violence.

"I need to be inside you, Elara," he whispered roughly. "I’m aching for you."

"Pls do,"

And with that, he brought his dick and thrust it in me, but it was so painful because it was my first time.

I moaned in pleasure and pain, and he caught that. He stopped thrusting and then asked if he should stop. I shook my head, telling him to continue.

"Are you sure? It looks like you are in pain."

"Well, this is my first time, but I can manage," I replied, pulling him closer.

"But I don’t want to hurt you. I truly want you, I want to mark you as mine, but not at the expense of your pain," he said, panting as well.

"Pls go ahead," I said softly.

And with that, he had my permission. Even though the penetration was painful, he tried several times before he could break my hymen, but he made sure it was less painful.

"Gosh, he is so considerate," I thought inwardly.

Then he thrust freely, my legs wrapped around him, as we both moved in sync. The room was filled with our moans, and I didn’t want him to stop. He thrust harder, and I enjoyed every bit of it.

I didn’t know when it happened.

One moment, I was still in the room with him.

The bed was warm under my back. The sheets smelled like him, faintly clean, faintly wild, like rain on stone. The light was low, barely there, turning everything soft around the edges. His weight was on me, solid and real, a quiet pressure that made me feel held in place. Safe, I think. Or maybe just grounded.

He said my name.

Not loudly. Not urgently. Just the way someone says a name when it matters to them. When the sound alone is enough to mean stay.

Then everything shifted.

When his teeth pressed against my skin to mark me, my whole body reacted at once. It wasn’t pain. That’s the best way I can explain it. It was sharp, yes, but deeper than pain. Like something inside my chest was being pulled, tugged open. Like a door I didn’t know existed was suddenly forced wide.

My breath stopped.

Not because I chose to hold it. It just vanished. My body went still, stiff in a way that didn’t feel natural. I tried to speak, to call his name back, but my voice disappeared somewhere between my thoughts and my mouth.

The room faded.

It didn’t blur or dissolve. It was just gone. One second it was there, the next it wasn’t. Like someone snapped their fingers and erased it.

There was a soft ringing in my ears. Not loud. Almost gentle. Like wind passing through something hollow far away. My thoughts broke apart, each one drifting in a different direction. I felt light, like I might float away if I wasn’t careful. Then, suddenly heavy, like my body was sinking through something thick and unseen.

Both at the same time.

"Elara."

I heard my name again.

But it didn’t sound like him anymore. The voice felt older. Wider. It echoed, not against walls but against something endless. It came from everywhere and nowhere, wrapping around me instead of reaching me.

My eyes closed without my permission.

When I opened them again, I was no longer in the room.

I was standing barefoot on soft ground.

Grass pressed against the soles of my feet. It was silver-gray, faintly glowing, like moonlight had soaked into every blade. It was warm, alive, moving gently as if it breathed. When I shifted my weight, it responded, bending and rising around me.

The air filled my lungs easily. It smelled clean. Like rain had just fallen. Like earth and stone and something wild I couldn’t quite recognize, something old.

My heart started to pound.

I turned slowly, taking it in. There were no walls. No ceiling. Just open space. The sky above me was unfamiliar, wrong in a beautiful way. Stars hung too close, large and bright, pulsing softly like they were alive. Like they were watching. A pale moon floated low, full and glowing, its light steady and calm.

It felt aware of me.

"Where am I?" I whispered.

The words didn’t fall and disappear. They stretched outward, carried far, then echoed back to me, softer than before. Hearing my own voice return made my chest tighten.

This place felt ancient.

And I wasn’t scared.

That surprised me the most. My body should have been shaking. I should have been screaming. But instead, there was a strange calm in my chest. A quiet sense of being expected. Like this place knew me. Like I was late, not lost.

I looked down at my hands.

I gasped.

The light pulsed again. Once. Twice.

And with it came a flood of feelings that were not entirely mine. Strength. Hunger. Devotion. A deep pull toward something unseen. Toward someone. Emotions layered over my own, settling into me as if they had always belonged there, just waiting to wake up.

My knees felt weak.

I realized, in that moment, that something had changed.
