Chapter 115: Lie

"Ma’am, boss Logan is here to see you," one of Anita’s men announced and Logan walked in immediately as if he had been trailing behind the man.

"Welcome Logan, have a seat-"

"Why did you meet up with her? How did you even know who she was? That’s to show you had spied on me. You met up with her and for what? To tell her to stay away from me?!" Logan cuts her off.

"I have no idea what you are talking about," Anita denied.

"Cut the crap," Logan ordered.

"Did she tell you all these?" Anita questioned.

"It took her long enough. You are more than just a good ally to me but do you think by doing this I will get married to Jenny. I love this woman.

"And even if she might never be officially mine, I still won’t get married to Jenny because she’s like a friend to me, like a little sister. So please, stay away from Sentencia Norman!" Logan elaborated and he started walking away without waiting from a response from her.

"You wouldn’t want to make me an enemy," he added and walked out.

Silvia began to open her eyes again, Cia was already in the room with a nurse, checking on her. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"Silvia, how are you feeling now?" Cia asked, she wasn’t in shock anymore and her pulse and blood pressure were back to normal.

"I feel..." she gathered her strength to talk, "Sore and I can’t move,"

"It’s okay, it’s normal since you were in a brief coma before also falling asleep, the numbness will subside soon. Luckily for us, you didn’t break any bones or sustain further internal or external damage but you will need lots of rest if you want to recover quickly and also some treatments and therapy," Cia explained.

"Where’s...where is Davian? Doesn’t he come to see me? Is he hospitalized too? Can I go to him instead?" Silvia questioned.

"Take it easy Silvia. Yes, Davian is hospitalized right here as well. It’s nothing serious, he will be fine but none of you can see each other yet because you both need to recover to a certain extent.

"You can’t even walk yet. Focus on recovering then you may see him," Cia responded.

"Okay. But what about Mrs Elizabeth, she was in the car as well when the accident had occurred," Silvia inquired.

"She’s... she’s doing fine as well," Cia managed to respond.

"Ah, my head hurts," Silvia complained and she managed to move her left hand upwards to her head to touch it.

"Well it’s bandaged, you sustained some head injury but fortunately, there wasn’t any brain death or internal bleedings in your head. Your neck is also on support so you wouldn’t be able to move it freely for now.

"Get better and heal soon then we will remove it. Your right arm also got affected but it’s just a dislocation, it will be fine soon- These are your major injuries. So focus on getting better first, huh?" Cia caressed her hair.

"Okay, I will. Tell Davian as well that I’m fine so that he wouldn’t have to worry too much," Silvia requested.

"You must love him so much, all you care about even when you first woke up, was just his own safety," Cia responded.

"Our lives did flashed before our very eyes. We thought we were going to loose each other. If I remember correctly, it was the first time ever that I actually saw Davian cry," Silvia’s mind drift to the awful memory.

The car had already somersaulted and was upsidedown. Glasses shattered and blood stains everywhere. Davian found Silvia already losing consciousness as blood flowed from her head.

His hands tried so hard to reach out for her and tears began to stream away from his eyes.

"I’m sorry..." Silvia could hear his soft whisper.

"I’m so sorry Silvia..." he cried on and she managed to open her eyes slowly. She saw as he gave up to the darkness before her eyes. It scared her, she tried calling him but no words left her lips and his name only echoed in her mind.

"I will get better in no time," she was dying to see him. No matter how Cia tried to put it, Silvia deduced that Davian’s injuries must be more severe for him not to be able to see her yet.

"Okay, I’ll just check on you later. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need anything and for now, you won’t have solid food. A nurse or maybe your mom will be here in a couple of hours time to give you some food. Your body must be ready to take it in by then," Cia told.

Silvia just nodded.

"Okay. Get some rest now and don’t give too much thought about the whole issue. Davian and his mom are fine so focus on recovering," she adviced.

"I will," Silvia responded, that’s exactly what she is going to do.

Cia started to walk out of the room, Olivia who was also in the room earlier, trailed behind her.

"Why did you lie to her?" Olivia asked.

"What? You expect me to just drop such bad news on her like that. You think she will be able to handle it?" Cia responded.

"But still-"

"Let her recover first. Then we will tell her," Cia interrupted.

"She might never be able to forgive you for lying to her at first," Olivia pointed out.

Sentencia just sighed.

Janet Reyes did pay her daughter a visit few hours later.

"Hello dear," she greeted.

"Hi mom," Silvia responded weakly.

"How are you feeling now? I brought you some healthy soup, you know you can only have liquid and pasty food for now," Janet informed.

"I know mom, thank you and I’m doing fine," Silvia responded.

Janet pushed a button on the bed which made the upper section to lift up a little to put Silvia in a sitting posture.

"Your dad has paid you a visit twice, don’t worry...he knows you are awake now, he might come later today or tomorrow to see you," Janet assured.

"Mom, have the police investigate this? Detective John Parker even. Contact him, my car was tampered with," Silvia revealed.

"What? By who? Who would do such a thing?" Janet demanded.

"I don’t know myself, and I won’t like to point fingers without solid evidence," Silvia responded.

"I will do as you have instructed. Have some of this delicious soup now?" Janet offered, she brought the spoon to Silvia’s mouth and began to feed her.

When she was almost half done with her food, Ray, Sarah, Stella, Lucas and Ray’s little boy walked into the room.

"Hey Silvia," they chorused.

Silvia was more than glad to see them, "Mom, friends of Davian," she informed.

"Okay, I see," Janet responded and exchanged greetings with them.

"I’m already full mom," Silvia informed.

"Okay then. Have some water," Janet gave her some water which she had just two sips from.

"I’m good mom," Silvia announced.

"Please get well soon aunt Silvia," Ray’s son, Angelo, told her. He was obviously looking sad.

"I will," she responded with a smile.

"Get well soon Silvia," Sarah uttered as well and some others followed.

"Too bad this had to happen to you on your birthday," Lucas stated.

"We brought you some flowers and a huge teddy bear in case you get lonely," Angelo announced and Silvia smiled even more.

They spent some time with her before they left. Her dad came the next day;

"How are you feeling, babygirl?" he asked.

"Trying to get better," she told and he nodded.

"This is all your husband’s fault. He was the one driving right? You are going through all these all because of him," Alan started to blame Davian.

"Don’t do that dad, please. Don’t pin the blame on Davian. My car was tampered with," Silvia responded.

"Hmm, so I heard from your mother. I will personally look into it and whoever did it must pay with their lives," Alan replied.

"No dad, we are over this. We don’t want more blood on our hands. Who knows whether it’s still our past that’s hunting us?" Silvia will never be able to forgive herself if this was caused by an old nemesis from the underworld.

"Whoever it is, must be brought to justice and punished!" Silvia added.

For the meantime, Silvia just focused on recovering. She was so dedicated that she was already showing high progress in just a matter of days. Her rate of recovery was high and shockingly faster than they had expected.

The will to see Davian again and be able to hold him or inhale his scent again was her driving force.

After days of therapies and treatments, she was able to stand. She was more than happy, her motivation made her to walk again soon, though slowly and she had to carry a drip stick with wheels, everytime but at least she could walk again.

Today, Sentencia came to remove her neck support.

"Your recovery is so fast and surprising Silvia. If I didn’t know you, I would have thought you weren’t human," Cia praised.

"It’s not fast enough to me, it took longer than I had expected. It’s two weeks and some days now." Silvia pointed out.

"Yeah, but don’t you know some patients takes longer time," Cia informed.

"Well, it was worth the wait. Can I see him now?" Silvia finally requested.

"Not yet," Cia responded.

"What do you mean not yet?! I have literally done everything, I’m recovered now. It’s just this hand and head bandages remaining. Why won’t you let me see him?! Or even Mrs Elizabeth?!" Silvia demanded.

"Because she’s dead!" Cia finally told her the truth.

"What? W-What did you just say?" Silvia asked.

"Mrs Elizabeth is dead. She died on the spot of the accident before you trio were brought in," Cia answered.

Ba-bump!

Ba-bump!!

Ba-bump!!!

Silvia’s heart was beating so fast, she was so afraid to ask the question.

"And... Davian?" she managed to.
