Fi didn’t respond for some while.

"It’s not just about her. I already told you, it’s about me as well. I want out-"

"You’re my son and my only child, the only heir to everything I’ve worked hard for. You’ve worked so hard all your life to prove yourself and you have successfully done it and you want to throw it all away because of a ’WOMAN’! HUH FI?!" Mr. Lee yelled.

Fi didn’t respond.

"You’re not in your right mind. Go get some rest and-"

"She’s not just any woman. She’s the love of my life, I love this woman dad and without her... life without her is not worth living." Fi cuts in.

"What about my empire?" Mr. Lee questioned.

"Jace is your nephew, he can take over from you. He’s more than willing and ready," Fi replied. He looked towards the door where all trio- Bree, Caleb and Jace stood, not believing what was happening.

Mr. Lee scoffed.

There was silence.

"Fine then," Mr. Lee broke the silence, "Go to her. I’ll make sure no harm comes to you and the family you want to make with her. But know this, the moment you walk out that door... You’ll cease to be my son."

Fi let out a breath of relieve which shocked everyone. He turned away and started walking away.

"Fi, you don’t have to do this." Bree cried.

Fi just smiled and hugged her.

"I have to Bree," or he’s going to live an unhappy life for the rest of his days on earth. The short while of happiness he had experienced with Cia, just proved to him that there’s more to life than money and power.

"Is she worth it?" Caleb asked.

"Yes Caleb, and when you meet the one, you’ll understand me then." Fi replied.

"I’ll miss you bro," Caleb continued and hugged Fi.

Fi hugged him back, "We all can still keep in touch, promise."

"Fi, don’t do this. I’m not ready and I don’t deserve to take your place as heir," Jace added. All his life, he won’t deny the fact that he has always been jealous of Fi and wished he was in his place. But now that it might actually happen, he’s come to realize, that wasn’t really what he wanted. Fi has always been a brother to him and he would just like to remain by his side as a cousin, a little brother and a friend.

He felt... unworthy.

"Then prove to me that you’re deserving. Everyone is deserving of everything, you just have to prove your worth." Fi said and with that, concluded the goodbyes as Jace hugged him.

Fi didn’t waste another second and headed for Sentencia’s house.

"What are you doing here?" Cia asked once she opened the door.

"Can I come in first?" Fi requested.

"No." Cia told him with a straight face.

"Why not Cia?" He questioned with a sad tone and face.

"You want to know why? Because I’m afraid. I’m afraid that if I let you in, I’ll also let you back into my heart and life and the endless cycle that I don’t want will continue and I don’t want that. So please go away Finland and stay away from me!" Cia was about to close the door but Fi stopped her with his hand on the door.

"Just hear me out, Cia. What if I told you, the endless cycle has ended. I ended it, what then?" Fi questioned.

"What do you mean?" Cia asked softly this time.

"Let me in first," Fi said.

Cia sighed and opened the door wider for him to come in. He walked in and she shut the door.

"I left the life behind Cia, I left it all behind. I realized it wasn’t what I wanted, all I wanted was you," Fi continued.

"I don’t understand," Cia commented.

Fi held her cheeks and she held his hands on her cheeks.

"You said as long as I was still in that world, we could never be together. So I left that world..." he trailed off and his hands went to her hold her hands as he held her beautiful starry brown eyes.

"I love you Cia and I want us to create our own world together. My father said he won’t let any harm come to us and I also won’t let any come to us as well. But I can’t tell if he approves of you, he disowned me but I don’t care. Let’s start afresh Cia," Fi continued.

Cia couldn’t believe her ears. When she said those things, she never imagined Fi could go ahead to do this. Did he love her that much?

She removed her hands from his and walked some meters away from him, her hands on her arms.

"What’s wrong Cia? Aren’t you happy about it?" Fi came to stand before her again, holding her shoulders.

"It’s... It’s not that. I don’t also want that life for you but... I feel a little guilty that your dad disowned you because of me," Cia told.

Fi smiled, "You’re such a sweet soul Cia. I don’t even care."

He then proceeded to bring out the engagement ring from his pocket.

"You dropped this, my love." He said and she smiled. She stretched her fingers for him to put the ring and he beamed happily.

"Does that mean you take me back? You’re willing to start a new with me," he asked.

"I love you Fi," she responded and that was all he needed.

He put the ring into her finger and kissed her dearly.

His hands was still on her waist, "This hubby of yours would need a new job now though, I’m no longer the mafia prince and heir," he pointed out and they both chuckled.

"Just kidding. I still get to keep my house and car. And I still have my own personal money from legal businesses I do that my father didn’t know about." Fi added. She didn’t want the criminal life for him but she still hopes he would one day reconcile with his dad.

Cia smiled and kissed him.

" I love you so much Sentencia."

"I love you too, Fi."
