Married to the loveless CEO-Chapter 61: Mrs
Randolph was very surprised to see Davian, he fought real hard to act normal. Davian walked into the elevator.
"Going up sir?" he asked and Randolph nodded. Davian pushed the elevator’s button of the floor he was heading to.
Once the elevator shut and started moving upwards, Randolph found himself pinned to the wall of the elevator by Davian in the next second.
"Ah, what are you doing?" Randolph asked in pain as Davian continued pinning him to the wall, he bent his arm to a very painful angle.
"Why have you been following me?!" Davian demanded.
"Following you? Ah, I don’t know what you’re talking about," Randolph denied.
"Of course you do. You think you are so good at what you are doing, don’t you? Well you’re not so good at camouflaging. I’ve known that you have been tailing me but I just kept cool. Were you hired?" Davian bent his arm even more.
"Ah, yes!" Randolph finally admitted to it.
"By who?!" Davian thundered.
"I can’t tell you that-Ah!" It was as if Davian was so determined to rip his arm off.
Randolph was brainstorming within himself. If he tells this man that Alan Reyes was the one who hired him to follow him around, he’s so going to be in big trouble.
But this guy is going to rip his arm off if he doesn’t tell him something. It’s either he tells him the truth now and stops working for Mr. Reyes because he will surely leave town for his own safety or he’ll just tell this guy any random name.
Yes! He’s got it.
"Okay, Ah... okay-It’s... It’s Gabriel Yul!" Randolph blurted. He knew about the enmity between Davian and Gabriel and he knew that Gabriel Yul was possibly the one responsible for Davian’s kidnap.
"Ah!" Randolph screamed in pain. He just gave this guy a name, why was he still trying to give him a broken arm? He could already hear the cracking of his bones, he’s totally going to get a broken arm.
"Let me go, you prick. I already gave you a name, I swear... I’m just a private investigator, I’m not dangerous. I’m no threat-Ah!" Randolph shut his eyes, he couldn’t bear the pain anymore.
"Who are you?" Davian questioned.
"Randolph County... I’m just a private investigator." Randolph answered.
"Which is a professional name for a stalker," Davian responded.
"You think I’m a fool! I noticed you started following me even before Gabriel Yul and I met in person. He didn’t know who I was or what I looked like till that day we met," Davian told.
"Now tell me..." Davian trailed off as he bents the man’s arm even more. Randolph could feel his arm go limp.
"Who hired you?!" Davian continued.
"It’s Mr. Reyes...Alan Reyes!"

’Ding!’ the elevator opened.
Silvia and her secretary, Emily, walked out of it and towards the lobby of Reyes’ Corp.
"Mrs Randell..." Emily trailed off because Silvia halted in her steps at the mention of that name.
"Uh... I’m sorry Ms. Reyes, it just slipped through," Emily explained. Silvia turned towards her;
"It’s okay. I’m no longer a ’miss’ anyway," Silvia found herself in between smiles. She kinda liked how it sounded, it was the first time she was addressed by that after the wedding.
"But just call me Mrs Silvia since there’s still another Mrs Randell," Silvia instructed, referring the last part to Elizabeth.
Emily smiled and nodded. She knew it was a contract marriage but it will still be weird still calling her Ms. Reyes, marriage is marriage and her boss seems to like the new reference.
"So what did you want to say?" Silvia inquired.
"Oh, yes. Your schedule for today is all cleared up Mrs Silvia," Emily answered.
’That’s great,’ Silvia thought. She needs some shut eyes.
They walked outside of the building where her car was already waiting for her. She entered into the car and Mr. Noah drove off immediately.
They arrived at the house. She was welcomed by Myne and some of the other household staffs. All her previous workers were still working for her at the new residence.
"Where’s Davian? Isn’t he back from work yet?" Silvia inquired.
"Yes, he just arrived. He must be upstairs," Myne replied.
Silvia nodded and walked towards the stairs. She saw Davian at the start of the stairs, he looked all freshened up.
"Were you going downstairs?" she asked.
"Yes. Welcome back," he responded and she nodded.
"Have you had dinner?" she questioned.
"Nope but... I’m not really hungry," he answered.
"Okay, yeah me too." she replied.
"I want to tell you something important, Silvia," he uttered.
"Okay. Why don’t we drink over it at my room’s balcony?" she asked and he nodded in agreement.
They got a bottle of red wine and two glasses and proceeded to her room’s balcony.
Davian had a sip of the fine wine as he savoured the view. Silvia gaze was on him as she patiently but curiously waited for what he had to say.
"You Silvia Reyes must really love views and balconies," he started.
"I guess it’s Silvia Randell now?" she corrected and he chuckled.
"It sounds so nice," he smiled at her.
"But we’re in a contract so..." he shrugged and she looked downwards.
’He just had to spoil the mood,’ she thought.
Davian watches her closely as the wind blew on their hairs. She was staring downwards that means she was over her phobia. He laughed when he saw how her hands gripped on the railings.
She turned towards him.
"What’s so funny?" she asked.
"Nothing. But I can see you are slowly getting over it? The phobia," he replied and she nodded.
"Thanks to you," she said and he smiled.
"So what did you want to tell me?" she asked.
"Did you know your dad hired someone to have me followed?"
"..."
"W-What?" she managed to say.
"Yes, I’ve always noticed that I was being followed but I stayed cool about it," Davian informed.
"What? Since when? Why did you keep it to yourself? How are you so sure it’s my dad?" Silvia asked so many questions at a time.
"For quite some time now and yes, it’s your dad because the man admitted to it-"
"Wait a minute, which man? Admitted to it? How? When?" Silvia interrupted him with her continuous questions. From the look of it, she really didn’t have any idea about it.
"Today, he followed me as usual. He followed me to the new location of 3D and I made him confess. Randolph County? Does it ring a bell?" Davian asked.
It did ring a bell. That man usually investigates people and things for her dad.
"Yes, he works for my dad but just as a private investigator." she replied.
"(Scoffs) I guess I haven’t fully gained your dad’s trust even though he let us get married," Davian responded.
"It’s my fault for not trying my best, I’ve been so preoccupied, I didn’t think of building his trust for me. Our contract might get f*cked up," he added.
"No it won’t. You did great, you are doing fine, my dad’s the problem. He doesn’t trust people easily," Silvia elaborated.
"Is there a way I can still change that? Maybe get some more man to man time with him," he suggested.
"I really don’t think that is necessary, if he wants to trust you let him, if he doesn’t want to, he should suit himself, it’s no longer our concern. Our plan is already in motion and we have my mom’s full support.
"But I assure you that I’ll get to the bottom of this and I’ll make sure it ends and never happens again so that he wouldn’t one day sniff out the plan." Silvia assured, he just nodded.
Silvia still remembers what Davian and Elizabeth said to her some times ago about guaranteeing his safety and after Davian’s kidnap, she’s promised herself to do just that.
Even if it means protecting him from her own father.

"Dad!" Silvia storm into the Reyes mansion.
"Silvia?" her mother received her.
"What’s wrong?" Janet added.
"Where’s dad? Is he in?" Silvia asked.
"Yes, at his study. Let’s go but try to calm down," her mother pleaded with her.
They walked towards Alan’s study. Janet was about to knock but Silvia just mindlessly burst in.
"Silvia?" Alan voiced on seeing her.
"What’s the meaning of this?" he asked, very much annoyed and irritated by her disrespectful behavior. But he continued to sit powerfully on his seat though.
"Dad?! Is it true you had Randolph follow my husband?"
