Chapter 354 - Journey Through Snow and Ocean.

''Huff… Haahhh…'' A figure with heavy winter clothing and a hood covering the features was moving through thick piles of snow.

The figure's gender was somewhat unrecognizable, but there were two bulges around the chest, which revealed the gender.

She was panting heavily as her legs slowly moved through the snow, but even though she seemed exhausted, she didn't stop.

Without even realizing it by herself, she was close to her destination.

She walked past a city sign that said [Welcome To Glazeland, we hope that you have a lovely time!]

She started her journey from Coldland and was nearing the fifth hour of her journey.

Usually, a car trip would last less than an hour, but she had to go on foot and had to almost swim through the snow to keep moving forwards.

It didn't help that a snowstorm was currently making her visibility very poor, and she couldn't see even one meter forwards.

But soon, she came to a stop as a small snow hill was blocking her path.

''Iron Smash!'' She suddenly screamed and punched at the snow hill, which made the snow disappear.

The snow hill was separated into millions of smaller snowflakes, which soon disappeared.

''Haahhh… Haahhh…'' She couldn't keep her fist raised any longer and had to lower it.

She could barely move her fingers, let alone her legs, which she needed to move to continue forwards.

''Is this how far my will reaches?'' Suddenly, a blast of wind appeared, which blew the hood off her head, which revealed her looks.

She had untidy black hair with blue eyes that seemed to have lost their brilliance not long ago.

Her face, that was definitely a sight to behold not long ago, was dirtied by lack of hygiene and care.

But, behind all that dirt, a face that could charm anyone was still visible.

''He had to survive a battle royale, where one mistake can lead to death so that we can reunite, but I can't even survive snow… Azura, you are pathetic…'' She gritted her teeth and slapped her soft cheeks.

Trying to regain the last bit of willpower that was found in her petite body.

While the pain was still present, she continued moving forwards.

With heavy legs, she started moving forwards inch by inch.

One movement of leg took her minute, and she only managed to cross a few centimeters,

It would look futile to keep going to many, but she didn't know what that word meant.

She joined Night's End in hopes of earning wealth so that she could cure her mother; to many, it would look stupid and futile.

Mainly because she spent most of her money to buy the game, which could be used to purchase food, and had to starve most of the days because of her decision.

But no, to her, it wasn't futile, it was one of the best decisions she made, and if her past self decided not to buy, she would travel back in the time and beat herself up.

That one decision to buy the game changed her life for good.

After hours of more moving in the snow, her weary eyes widened in shock as she saw the first signs of civilization!

The road she was walking went straight to the streets that were surrounded by buildings that were covered in snow.

But, the end of the road had a sign that told it was forbidden to use this road as travel because it was fully covered in snow, and it would be impossible to be traveled in any way.

She saw families, cars, and police officers moving around in the streets. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, they all looked very energetic and satisfied.

Few were carrying shopping bags that were filled with some gift-like items.

''Ah right… Christmas will be soon…'' Azura never cared about Christmas because she had to spend it alone most of the time, and this year might not be any different.

There was still over one month before Christmas, but it was a time of year when Winterlight was most bustling.

It was the place where the true beauty of Christmas could be seen.

When she was about to take another step, she saw everyone in the streets screaming and pointing at the sky.

With curiosity, she also looked towards the sky and widened her eyes in shock.

In the sky, a plane was descending, but its tail was on fire!

A long trail of black smoke was covering the sky, and many thought that the plane was crash landing!

They kept watching as the plane slowly descended and was approaching the runway!

The plane was very unstable, but soon, its landing gear landed on the ground, and with great skill by pilots, the aircraft landed successfully!

The citizens around the streets cheered loudly after seeing the majestic sight. A total catastrophe wasn't far away.

''I wonder what happened.'' Azura pondered and started moving.

Soon, she reached the streets, and her figure caught a lot of attention.

To others, she looked very sickly, and it looked like she might fall at any moment.

''A-Are you alright?'' A middle-aged woman asked while holding the hand of her daughter. She had a bag of gifts in her hand as she looked at the pale young woman in front of her with concern.

''Y-Yes…'' Azura replied with her pained voice that didn't reassure the middle-aged woman at all.

Soon, she continued walking, moving inch by inch, very slowly, and almost fell down a few instances.

The citizens around her didn't know what to do. They wanted to stop her and take her to the hospital, but seeing her eyes that screamed to keep going, they didn't dare to intervene with whatever she was doing.

'Airport… Airport…' She kept repeating those words in her mind and slowly kept moving forwards.

In the distance, a large airport was seen, which was bustling after the plane, which almost crashed landed.

A loud siren sounds echoed from there, coming from both police and firetrucks.

It wasn't far away that the biggest catastrophe in Glazeland's history happened.

''Airport…'' Azura gritted her teeth and was getting closer to the airport with every second.

Her movement seemed slow, but she never slowed down, instead kept the same pace.

Even though it looked like she would never reach her destination, she was getting closer!
