Chapter 371 - Patience.

Ichiro walked up the uphill, which led straight to the worn-out temple.

He took a few glances to the right and saw the three young men stealthily moving in the shadows.

He shook his head and was certain that this plan could only be successful if they were extremely lucky.

But he didn't care about that now. Instead, he wanted to meet with Shinu.

Ichiro felt strange ever since he met with Shinu and felt the Iron Style that had been carved on his bones acting strangely.

Soon, he reached the wooden steps, and when he was about to enter the temple, he was quickly stopped.

''What is your purpose here?'' A disciple with a green robes asked while blocking the entrance.

Ichiro was about to answer, but then a voice came from the temple.

''Young one, let him enter.'' The voice belonged to Shinu.

The disciple bowed respectfully towards the voice and stepped to the side.

Ichiro entered the temple, and once he took his first breath on the temple, he felt rejuvenated.

*Sniff*

He took a sniff of the air and smelled something delicious.

Ichiro turned his head towards the direction where he thought that the smell had come from.

He saw Shinu, who was currently pouring tea on two cups.

The liquid was in the color of green, and once both teacups were half full, Shinu put the teapot down on the table.

''Please, sit down.'' Shinu pointed at the other chair that was reserved for Ichiro.

Ichiro nodded and sat down on the chair while the small table was in front of him, and on the other side of the table was Shinu.

Shinu started sipping the tea without any intention to talk.

Ichiro looked at the liquid and carefully took the first sip.

Instantly, his mind was blown as the delicious liquid touched his tongue.

The liquid traveled through his throat; each moment was one of pleasure.

Ichiro once again looked at the liquid with amazement, and it was definitely the most delicious drink he had ever tasted.

He didn't wait any longer and poured the tea down his throat.

Shinu smiled and lowered the teacup, ''To enjoy tea— you need patience.''

Ichiro looked at his empty teacup.

He felt disappointed and put the empty teacup down on the table.

''Everything needs patience.'' Shinu said and took a sip of the delicious tea, ''Because of your impatience, you feel disappointment.''

Ichiro sighed and asked, ''What are you trying to say?''

Shinu smiled and asked, ''Can you tell me about your Martial Arts?''

''What do you want to know?'' Ichiro asked and crossed his legs.

''How far do you want to evolve your style?'' Shinu asked while scanning Ichiro's facial expressions.

Ichiro didn't even have to think about it, ''I want it to be the greatest Martial Arts in the universe, so that even Gods will be afraid of it.''

Shinu raised his eyebrow and asked, ''Do you believe in Gods?''

''I believe in the afterlife.'' Ichiro tapped the table and continued, ''I also believe in reincarnation.''

Shinu only smiled and kept nodding.

*Tap*

Soon, hurried footsteps came from the temple's entrance, and a panicked disciple stormed in.

''Grandmaster!'' The disciple bowed respectfully towards Shinu and said with panic, ''Four barrels had been stolen from the wine cellar!''

''Oh?'' Shinu raised an eyebrow and smiled after seeing Ichiro innocently whistling while averting his gaze.

''Teacher, I will find the culprit.'' One of the Grandmasters in the temple said and stood up with his golden robes fluttering around him, which gave him a look of majesty.

Shinu waved his hand and said, ''No need, it must be the younger generation having fun.''

The Grandmaster nodded and sat back down.

Shinu looked back at Ichiro and said, ''I am quite excited about the test, especially the things you can do.''

Ichiro nodded and stood up.

He slammed his fist on his palm and bowed respectfully.

Shinu smiled and nodded.

Ichiro left the temple, and once he reached the streets, he looked at his hands and remembered Shinu's words.

'I am impatient… What does he mean by that?' His eyebrows furrowed, and questions filled his mind.

'I need to get stronger… Is he talking about that?' Ichiro clenched his fist, 'Is he saying that I am way too impatient…'

His clenched fist loosened, and from the sky, a leaf landed right on his palm.

'Maybe I should… Finish my True Iron Style before I am increasing my strength any further— Martial Commander rank is, after all, great for improving techniques….'

He nodded and made up his mind; once he continued his walk, he noticed something from the corner of his eyes.

In one of the alleyways, he noticed three young men waving towards him.

Ichiro looked around him and quickly entered the alley, where three young men were waiting for him with four wine barrels.

''It was a success!'' Lord grinned and showed the barrels with pride.

Lone and Ares nodded with pride.

''What now?'' Ichiro asked; they still have to somehow move the barrels without anyone noticing.

''We will take the barrels to my temporary residence.'' Lord said and started carrying one of the barrels, ''We will have to move stealthily, but that won't be a problem, right?''

Lone and Ares grabbed one barrel each.

Ichiro looked at the last remaining barrel and nodded, ''No problem.'' He started carrying the barrel.

''Good,'' Lord said, and suddenly the ground below him cracked!

''Speed is the key!'' He suddenly jumped and landed on top of the building while Lone and Ares followed behind him.

Ichiro looked behind him, and once he was confident that no one was currently looking at the alley, he also leaped through the air and landed on top of the building, where three young men were waiting.

''Heh.'' Lord grinned and jumped off the building and landed on top of another building.

Lone and Ares quickly went after him, they started jumping on top of the buildings, and in only a few seconds, they were a hundred meters away from Ichiro.

Ichiro's leg muscles twitched as he lunged forwards!

Like a streak of lightning, he kept jumping from building to building.

It didn't take long for him to catch up with the young men, who were surprised to see his speed, but they only grinned and sped up!
