Chapter 171 - 171: Strength Is Unpredictable! !

At this moment, the void around Finn burst open suddenly, and a vast pressure swept down from the rift, blanketing the entire sky with an oppressive force.

A dangerous omen surged in Finn's chest.

The cracks in the void expanded slowly, and from within stepped a monstrous being, towering like a colossus, its presence casting the world into shadow. A suffocating pressure radiated from its massive form, its power pressing down like a mountain.

"Second Mephisto?!!"

Finn was stunned.

He had never imagined that the second Mephisto of the Demon Faction would appear in person. And judging by his aura, his strength was at least on par with Finn's own.

What should I do now?

Do I really have to face him head-on?

Suddenly, a black halo manifested around Mephisto, forming a vortex that swallowed the surrounding space. The vortex then transformed into a pitch-black sword, streaking toward Finn with unstoppable momentum.

"Not good!"

Finn's expression shifted sharply.

As the dark blade closed in, Finn focused his energy. With a forceful swing of both hands, he unleashed an immense surge of black aura. A towering Taiyang phantom appeared behind him in an instant, spewing blazing flames to intercept the oncoming sword.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion echoed across the sky. Shockwaves erupted outward in concentric rings, visibly rippling through the air. Wherever they reached, the void shattered and collapsed.

A golden halo appeared beneath Finn's feet, stabilizing him midair and shielding him from the blast's aftermath.

But before he could regain composure, a muffled groan came from afar as a massive figure was sent hurtling through the air, crashing into the distant jungle.

Who launched that attack?

Finn narrowed his eyes toward the source, shocked. He had clearly sensed that without that interference, he might not have withstood Mephisto's strike.

As he turned his gaze, two figures emerged from the rent in the void.

Clad in sorcerer's robes, radiating golden light, and exuding sharp, cutting intent from their gaze—

It was Stephen Strange.

"Why are you here?!"

Finn's heart swelled with mixed emotions. "Looks like you guys showed up just in time."

"We felt a surge of anomalous energy," Stephen said calmly. "Seems like you're in quite the bind. What kind of monster is this?"

Finn quickly explained the situation.

Stephen listened, nodding slightly.

Meanwhile, the demonic Mephisto who had torn through space finally spoke, his voice slow and ominous. "Boy. What is your name?"

"What are you, that I need to tell you anything?"

Finn drew a deep breath, replying in a low, composed tone.

Mephisto chuckled, amused. "Your arrogance is remarkable. But I understand. After all, you did cripple several demon lords in the divine realms. Consider yourself lucky—I'll leave your corpse intact."

Finn's brow furrowed.

He hadn't expected the demon to be so informed.

But it made sense. News of his battles in the Angelic Faction had clearly spread.

"You hideous fiend, you know far too much for your own good."

Finn replied coldly.

"In that case, let me personally bury you here."

Mephisto raised his hand. From the void, a black saber materialized, its blade glowing with a grim light.

"Die!"

With a shout, the saber slashed through the air toward Finn.

Finn's expression turned grave. He clenched his fists tightly as torrents of energy surged through his body. With a roar, he met the saber with a barrage of ten thunderous punches.

BOOM!!!

Their attacks collided. The sky trembled. An explosion of light burst out, spreading shockwaves in all directions.

Finn was blown backward, pain shooting through his body. Though not injured, the impact numbed his limbs.

Mephisto barely staggered before stabilizing himself.

As expected from the second Mephisto of the Demon Faction. His power was monstrous.

Finn massaged his aching arm, eyes sharpening. He could feel it—this Mephisto was stronger than the last.

"Boy," Mephisto said, his voice cold and detached, "any last words? Speak them now, before your throat is crushed."

"You should worry about your own fate."

Finn retorted. He unleashed more of his energy, his arms crackling with power as he took a step forward.

His presence exploded like a supernova, illuminating the world with his intensity.

"I see. Still defiant. Then I'll do you the favor of ending your life quickly."

With a sneer, Mephisto raised his palm and slammed it down.

Finn kicked off the ground and leapt into the air, narrowly avoiding the strike.

Mephisto struck again—faster, harder.

This time, Finn couldn't dodge. The blow landed squarely, sending him flying. Pain erupted in his chest.

"He's strong. Too strong."

Finn rose slowly, grim determination in his eyes. He glanced to the side—Stephen and the two witches had already engaged the first Mephisto in battle.

His eyes turned back to the second Mephisto.

This time, he didn't hold back. He summoned the Sword of the Vishanti, its glowing edge humming with mystic power.

The atmosphere shifted. Finn's aura intensified dramatically.

"Do you even realize how strong I am now?" Mephisto said, smirking. "Why don't you start praying while you still have a chance."

His voice rippled eerily through the chaos.

"You're overconfident. That's your weakness."

Finn's voice was serious and unwavering.

Though Mephisto was powerful, Finn knew his own potential hadn't yet been fully unleashed. If he let go, he might even surpass the demon.

"Stubborn mortal! Then I'll be merciful enough to send you to hell!"

With a snarl, Mephisto attacked again.

Finn charged to meet him, no hesitation in his stride.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A fierce battle erupted.

Shockwaves from their clash ripped through the battlefield. Earth cracked and split. Trees were reduced to splinters. Mountains collapsed. The world was engulfed in smoke and dust.

The destruction was absolute.

The surrounding mountains were flattened. Craters and fissures marred the landscape, the land scorched and ruined.

The two combatants traded blows, each one capable of leveling entire ranges or draining lakes.

"I told you. You underestimated me."

Mephisto taunted as they fought, completely at ease. His movements grew faster and more precise, eventually breaking through the sound barrier with a thunderous CRACK.
