Marvel: The Villain-Chapter 230 Result
"Harley! Open a hole in your spatial barrier!"
Jason stood, sword in one hand, outside the range of David's infrasonic attack.
Harley, her hands held out straight, asked without turning her head, "Honey, which hole?"
Jason chuckled, his expression a bit lewd.
"You see Hulk's position right now... doesn't it look a little familiar?"
Familiar?
Harley looked closely, confused, then a smile crept onto her face.
On all fours... of course she was familiar with that position.
The smile vanished in an instant. Harley returned to normal, and with a wave of her hand, opened a hole.
"Honey, it's done! Be careful! David's infrasound affects you too!"
"I know!"
Jason coated his body with his remaining energy as a protective layer, then swung his sword and charged into the attack zone.
The vibrations from the infrasound and the biting cold hit him instantly.
Even with the energy shield, Jason couldn't help but frown.
Just the after-effects of their attacks were this bad; he couldn't imagine the pressure Hulk was under.
In that moment, Jason gained a new respect for Hulk's stamina and resistance.
But...
Even so, he would fall to this move.
Jason gripped the sword and thrust it violently at Hulk's ass!
Pfft!
The energy-laden tip pierced the ice and drove deep!
Hit with unprecedented pain, Hulk's eyes went bloodshot, and he began to struggle madly.
Harley, John, and David quickly increased their power to hold him.
Schlick!
The long blade sank into Hulk's body, leaving only the hilt visible.
"Oh my god! That must hurt!" Harley winced in empathy.
"It's gonna blow! Pull back!"
Jason roared, quickly exiting the attack zone.
Harley nodded and instantly teleported all four of them several kilometers away.
Released from the restraints, Hulk trembled like a leaf, his frozen blood instantly liquefying.
Agony surged. Hulk clenched his fists and roared at the sky.
"ROAR!!!" 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
The scream was miserable, like a violated animal, making one's hair stand on end.
Several kilometers away, Jason snapped his fingers. "Boom!"
The next second, a world-shaking explosion erupted from the forest. A red mushroom cloud rose in the distance.
The explosion was deafening. For dozens of kilometers, birds and beasts screamed and fled.
The violent shockwave expanded, and even from kilometers away, the four of them felt the ground tremble beneath their feet.
David: "Did it work?"
Harley: "An explosion that big? It definitely worked. The only worry now is whether or not the monster was blown to bits."
John, ever cautious, said seriously, "No. We can't be careless until we see a body."
Jason nodded. "John's right. Let's go take a look."
......
The massive explosion had destroyed every tree in a one-kilometer radius.
The damp, loose earth had been blasted into a huge crater, hundreds of meters wide and over ten meters deep.
The four flew to the crater's edge, scanning their surroundings warily.
Harley's power was ready. If the Hulk wasn't dead and suddenly attacked, she would teleport them away.
"Look!" Jason pointed into the crater and smiled.
They looked and saw Banner, naked, lying unconscious, surrounded by pools of green blood.
"So, I guess that's a success?" Harley asked, turning her head.
John's expression remained serious. He held out his palms and activated his power.
Swoosh!
A blast of frost shot toward Banner, stopping just short of him and forming into an ice claw. It grabbed him and lifted him up.
After a careful look, John said, "He's not faking. He's really unconscious."
Harley sighed in relief. "So where's Hulk? Blown to bits?"
Jason shook his head. "Hulk's not that easy to kill. The explosion just caused him massive damage, forcing him to turn back into Banner. But, our mission is complete."
David pointed to the nearby cave. "Boss, there's still a woman hiding in that cave. Should we grab her too?"
"That's Banner's girlfriend, Betty. Bring her along. Banner is in love with her; she might be useful later."
"I'll go get her."
Harley volunteered and teleported into the cave.
A moment later, she reappeared. "Honey, the woman's gone."
"She must have woken up from the fight or the explosion and run. David, use your echolocation to find her."
David nodded, opened his mouth, and sent out a wide-range ultrasonic pulse.
After a moment, he smiled. "Found her!"
......
"Huff... huff... huff..."
In the dense forest, Betty ran for her life.
She was lost, her stamina at its limit, but thinking of the enemies behind her, she didn't dare to stop.
Jason assumed the explosion had woken her, but in reality, Betty had been awake since the first blast.
When she'd crept out of the cave and peeked over the edge, she had witnessed a scene she would never forget.
The Hulk—who had shrugged off bullets, torn vehicles apart, and treated hundreds of soldiers like ants—was being controlled by three men and one woman.
This fact completely shattered Betty's already broken worldview.
And when she saw their faces, she was even more dumbfounded.
Jason Walter!!!
As an American, everyone knew about the Joker organization, the world's largest terrorist group.
She just never thought they would target Banner. And she never, ever thought the invincible Hulk would lose.
The heavy blows came one after another, but Betty didn't act like a stupid movie heroine and charged in to save Banner.
This wasn't a movie.
If she had run down there, she would have been caught in the crossfire and vaporized.
Betty's mind raced. She immediately turned and fled through the cave's other exit.
She had to get to a place with a cell signal and call her father, General Ross.
Although the military also wanted to capture Hulk, and their strength was nothing compared to the Joker organization, if she could get the two sides to fight, Banner might have a chance to escape.
With this thought, Betty, who was not athletic, ran desperately toward the city, not daring to stop even as she reached the point of exhaustion.
She kept checking her phone as she ran. After ten minutes of sprinting, one bar of signal finally appeared.
"Yes!"
Betty was ecstatic. She stopped and immediately dialed her father's private number.
The number had been in her phone for years, but because of their bad relationship, they hadn't spoken in two or three years.
"Beep... beep... Dad! Listen, Banner's been captured by the Joker organization! Please, you have to save him! The location is..."
BANG!
A bullet grazed Betty's cheek, and her phone exploded in her hand.
Her pupils dilated. Her arm trembled. Like a robot, she stiffly turned.
In the distance, a blonde woman with pigtails hovered in the air, holding a pistol, its muzzle still smoking.
"Harley... Quinn!"
As the daughter of a high-ranking military official, Betty had access to more information than most. She instantly recognized the sexy, alluring, yet evil woman before her.
"Hiiiii~~"
Harley drew out the word as she slowly landed, then walked up like an old friend, holding out her hand.
"You must be Betty Ross. So nice to meet you."
A legendary criminal was right in front of her. Betty was scared witless, trembling, unable to say a word.
Harley smiled kindly and put a hand on her shoulder. "Let's go. Someone wants to see you."
Swoosh!
Betty's world spun, and in the next instant, she was standing in the ruins kilometers away.
When her dizziness faded and she looked around, her legs gave out, and she collapsed to her knees.
Four people stood before her.
The ace mercenary, "Agent Zero"—David.
The legendary assassin, "Baba Yaga"—John Wick.
The psychiatrist, "Harley Quinn."
And...
The world's number one terrorist, the "King of Crime"—Jason Walter.
These terrorists, whom she had only seen on TV, were now just a few steps away. The terror in Betty's heart was beyond words.
Her heart was hammering like a jackhammer.
Her eyes scanned the ground, and she saw the unconscious Banner.
Betty's heart filled with despair.
Even the Hulk had lost. Just how strong was the Joker organization? Could no one stop these villains?
As Betty's mind reeled, Jason spoke. "I'll only ask once. Where is the USB drive?"
"What?"
"Hmph, don't play dumb! I'm asking you, where is the USB drive with the experiment data?"
Hearing this, Betty's face went white.
The USB!
Only she and Banner knew about it. How did the Joker organization find out?
Betty panicked, but she gritted her teeth, ready to resist.
"If you're asking about the data from the accident... the military took it."
"Hmph..." Jason sighed, his eyes full of pity.
"Ms. Betty, don't play these little games with me. You secretly copied the data to a USB drive before the military arrived, and you gave it to Dr. Banner last night. Anything else to say?"
Betty lowered her head, silent.
It was true. They knew everything. But how was the intel leaked?
"Talk!" Jason suddenly raised his voice.
Betty looked up in terror, meeting a pair of cold, merciless eyes.
She didn't dare meet his gaze and quickly looked down. "I really don't know. I gave him the USB last night, and then this morning... this all happened. I really don't know where he hid it."
"Don't know. Good." Jason walked forward slowly, forming a short energy blade in his right hand.
Just then, Harley spoke up.
"Honey, she's telling the truth."
Jason stopped. He looked at Betty, thought for a moment, and dismissed the energy blade.
Banner was planning to go to New York this morning, so the drive must have been on him. Then they were attacked... he didn't escape... he was forced to turn into the Hulk, rampaged, and ran into the forest.
The Hulk's intelligence is pitiful. Hiding a USB drive is harder for him than advanced calculus.
The only possibility is that Banner hid it before he transformed.
His luggage? No. A man with seven PhDs wouldn't be that stupid.
If I were Banner, where would I hide it?
After a moment of silence, a small smile appeared on Jason's face.
"Harley, use your space power to check Banner's stomach."
David and John, being smart, instantly understood Jason's guess.
Harley, though confused, held her hand out toward Banner's stomach.
"Umm... ah, found it!"
Swoosh!
A slimy, black object suddenly appeared in Harley's hand.
"Eww~~ So gross!"
Harley wrinkled her nose in disgust and quickly wiped her hand on John.
John: ......
After wiping off the slime, the black object's original form was revealed. It was the USB drive Banner had swallowed!
"Ms. Betty, you'll have to come with us." Jason walked over and put his hand on her shoulder.
Betty didn't speak, just nodded silently.
She knew. From the moment Harley had caught her, her life was no longer her own.
Whether she lived or died was up to Jason.
"Such a well-bred lady. So obedient."
Jason activated his power, creating an energy shield for her.
The four of them, taking Betty and Banner, floated into the air and flew toward New York.
