C81 – Two Stubborn People

“AHYAHYAHYAHYA!!! This is how I killed theeem!!!”

The man let out a sickening laugh as he pierced Sorglos’ abdomen with his arm.

Sorglos moved her eyes and glared at the man behind her.

“Y-You are….”

“Huuuh? Don’t you know who I am?”

“Ugh….”

The man smirked and looked at the visiting Sorglos as if wanting to lick her.

In addition, he could hear her screaming in agony when he twisted his arm.

The man’s mood got even better when he heard her agonizing screams.

“AHYAHYAHYAHYA!!! I’m in a good mood, so I’ll give you a special service!!!”

“Gah…!!!”

The man pulled his arm out of Sorglos’ stomach.

When the foreign object was finally pulled out of her body, she collapsed to the ground.

The man was not interested in her condition and instead looked at Lucille, who was staring at him in disbelief, and at Master, who had a thin smile on his face even though his comrade was dying.

“I’m Rousseld, Guildmaster of “Iron Queen (Inicken)”, a dark guild like yours! I look forward to working with you guys until you die!”

The manーーーRousseld laughed with a complete sense of amusement.

“You guys are next after this woman, so are you ready to die!?”

(TLN: Oh, he’s fucked, alright) (EDN: It’s been nice knowing you Mr. Rousseld)

Rousseld’s pupils were dilated with excitement as he turned to look at both of them.

It was when he stepped out to attack them, when suddenly—

“ーーーthe one who’ll die is you, yes.”

“…Ah?”

Sorglos, who had been pierced in the stomach and was struggling on the ground, stood up as if nothing had happened.

Then, she thrusted her dagger straight into Rousseld’s chest.

Rousseld was dumbfounded and looked at Sorglos, as he didn’t know what just happened.

“You should not be so careless as to think that you have killed someone merely because of a hole in their stomach, yes.”

Sorglos glared at Rousseld with cold eyes and sneered under her mask.

Furthermore, she twisted her dagger in return to what he did to her before.

“Y-You…!?!”

“Don’t touch us. It’s disgusting, yes.”

Rousseld tried to touch Sorglos with his trembling hands, but before he could, she already moved.

She swung the dagger that had been thrust into his chest to the side.

A space opened up around Rousseld’s chest and he fell to the ground, unable to speak.

“Tch, It’s inexcusable for you to have made a hole in a maiden’s body. Die scum.”

Sorglos cursed while looking truly unhappy.

By the way, her stomach was still gaping wide.

“E-Eh…? W-Why are you still okay…?”

Lucille shuddered seeing Sorglos, whom he had thought to unmistakably be dead, still looking relatively healthy.

A hole the size of a human arm in one’s abdomen should definitely be a fatal wound.

“Fumu, well, it would be a serious wound that could have killed us if we were a human, but we are not. A wound like this is no big deal…or that’s how we are supposed to say, but it still won’t kill us, yes.”

Sorglos laughed merrily as she caressed her ventilated stomach.

Lucille, who was watching closely, wasn’t laughing as blood was pouring out of her wound without any signs of stopping.

Her master was also smiling, but it looked as if his face was becoming somewhat pale.

“ーーーWhat a coincidence.”

A hand grabbed Sorglos’ leg.

The force was so great that it was almost enough to crush her ankle.

“Wha…!?”

This made even Sorglos’ face, which was always calm with a flippant smile under her cloth, freeze up.

She looked down at Rousseld, the man she had supposedly killed, as if she was looking at a ghost.

Rousseld laughed, as he caught the astonished eyes of Sorglos with pleasure.

“R-Ridiculous! We surely stabbed your heart…!!”

It was true that Sorglos sensed that she had stabbed Rousseld’s heart.

Moreover, he should have died since she had pierced the heart as if to gouge it out.

It should not have been possible for him to cling to her like this, seemingly like an undead.

“I won’t die that easily either!!”

“Kuh…!?”

Rousseld said so and got up fiercely while still grabbing Sorglos’ ankle.

The grip was too strong for her to get out of it.

Rousseld used the ankle that he had caught as a starting point and turned his body around

“Oraaaaaaa!!!”

“KAH…!?!”

Then, as Sorglos was still thrown in midair, her side was slammed mercilessly by Rousseld’s sharp kick.

It was so powerful that his leg looked as if it was sinking into Sorglos’ body.

Shortly after, her body was thrown like a ball and she was blown off straight towards the lake.

Then, with a huge splash, she fell right into it.

“Sorglos!!”

Lucille yelled, but there was no sign of her coming up.

“AHYAHYA!! It’s no use! The kick she just took should have crushed her internal organs and bones! Besides, it’s already too late to save her if she fell into the water!”

Seeing Lucille’s reaction, Rousseld laughed out loud in amusement.

Lucille looked at him with a confused look.

“Well, I’m also not human, just like that woman. I don’t know what race she is, but I’ll tell you mine.”

Rousseld said so while his thumb nudged the scar on his chest where Sorglos had torn it open.

Lucille, who looked at him, let out a cry of shock.

“T-The wound is closing…!?”

With a ‘swoosh’ sound and puffs of smoke, Rousseld’s wound was being healed.

It quickly erased the scar and finally, left no trace of the cut.

“I’m an undead. Something like a slash to the heart won’t even kill me. AHYAHYAHYA!!”
