Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 341: Flashback - 81
Chapter 341: Flashback - 81
Silas’s POV
"Meyer is alright, Orian?" I asked, because Meyer was not looking fine from any angle.
But when I asked Orian, he didn’t reply. He was just sitting there, holding Meyer’s hand. I broke the hug from Velric and touched Orian’s shoulder. As I did, he turned back, and I saw tears in his eyes.
"Meyer is not breathing anymore. His heartbeat has also stopped," Orian said.
My eyes widened, and I couldn’t believe my ears—that Meyer was not breathing anymore. I checked myself, and indeed, his heart was not beating. Did those soldiers kill Meyer before we got in?
Why is this happening? One by one, everyone is dying. Orian started to cry—of course he would.
After all, Meyer was his mate, his life partner. Now I was more worried about my mates, seeing Meyer’s condition. And just then, that locked door broke down.
I turned back and saw so many alphas—it was beyond limits. But I thought I could kill them, that’s why I grabbed my sword, and Orian held Velric in his arms.
Even though he was sad, in this situation he would still have to pay attention to everything around him.
Seeing those soldiers, as I tried to run toward them to kill them, I realized I couldn’t move. My eyes—I could move my neck, though, but not my whole body.
My eyes turned to Orian. He was also unable to move. I think Krivan is doing all this.
Those soldiers stepped forward and took us from there. I was feeling very hopeless and useless, unable to do anything.
And just then, we arrived at the main hall, where Throan was—the leader of the pack, in simple words, Damon’s Throan.
But as I reached there, all our soldiers were dead, and that scene was more terrifying than the bunkers.
Because these soldiers tried to fight against them, they got killed very brutally. And when I looked ahead, Krivan was sitting there on the throne, looking at me.
They took me further and made me kneel in front of Krivan. But my eyes were on Orian and Velric, because they were standing to the side.
"Silas, how are you feeling seeing me this powerful? You must be mesmerized, right?"
I glared at him as his words reached my ears, and two soldiers were still holding my shoulders, pushing me down.
"What happened? Why aren’t you talking?" he said while smirking.
When I tried to talk, I realized I could talk, even though I still couldn’t move my body.
"You bastard, do you really think I will praise you after you killed all my people and my brother-in-law? I will kill you myself, remember this."
"Aish! This is what I like about you more, Silas. But you know you don’t have any other choice than to be mine now, because your mates have already died."
My heart skipped a beat hearing this. Still, I tried to calm myself down, because they had promised me that they would come back alive no matter what. So I should wait for them patiently.
"Don’t make me laugh, Krivan. If you really did all this just to make me want to love you, then you are wrong. I will never be yours."
"If you can’t be mine, then I won’t let you be anyone’s."
And suddenly, Krivan pierced the sword through my chest, and I felt intense pain. And the next second, when he took out his sword, I could move and realized he didn’t stab me with any sword, because I was all fine.
Did he use illusion magic on me or something else? ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
"Did you feel that pain, Silas? But don’t worry—I won’t hurt you. Never. I will never, because I love you so much. How could I dare to hurt you?"
As I realized I could move, I rushed to him and grabbed him by his throat.
"You bastard! What do you want? Why are you doing all this? Why are you dragging everyone into this mess if you only wanted me?"
I knew he was strong because he knew black magic, but the things he was doing with his powers made me want to beat him to death.
"Silas, finally you touched me. Can I take this as a yes—that you are ready to be my mate?"
In a second, he grabbed my hand, the one strangling his throat, and pulled me down onto his lap. He held me tightly from behind. I tried to get up from his lap, but I failed. It was like I was getting weak.
And just then, I heard a noise coming from the main hall—it was people screaming in pain.
But as I saw when we were coming here, all the soldiers were Krivan’s, and all of ours had died. Then whose screams were those?
When the four stepped inside, I felt a light of home glimmer in me. Because those four were not dead. They were alive and standing in front of me.
I was about to call out their names, but as I opened my mouth, suddenly Krivan grabbed my chin and made me look at him.
Without any warning, he pressed his lips against mine. As he did, I felt electricity running through my body, and it was killing me. I bit his lips and pulled away from him.
Tears were flowing from my eyes. I was trembling and feeling utterly disgusting because of that kiss. I spat on the ground in front of Krivan.
"Silas!" As I heard my name, I turned back—and the four were standing in front of me.
I quickly went into Damon’s arms, and he hugged me. As I hugged him, I felt wetness on his back. When I broke the hug and checked my hand, I saw it was blood.
I quickly made him turn and saw his whole back was wounded. His skin was peeling off his body.
I looked at him, and then I noticed—he wasn’t the only one injured. They all were. And with every passing second, they were getting new wounds.
"What is happening to you all?" I asked, and I heard a crying sound.
"Sob... Mumma, daddies..." Velric was scared, seeing us in this condition. That’s why he started to cry.
"Son, don’t cry," Kael said, but blood was dripping from his mouth as he opened it to speak.
"Hahahaha... Did you enjoy this?" I turned back to Krivan. So he was doing this to my mates. They looked this weak just because he knew magic.
"Stop it right now! If you want, you can hurt me, but let go of my mates right now."
"Silas, why did you leave me? Come here—sit on my lap so I won’t do anything to your mates."
I didn’t want to do this. But for now, to save these four, I would have to do everything Krivan was asking. This way, he would let his guard down, and I would finish him off.
I was about to take steps toward Krivan, but just then my hand got grabbed from behind. I saw it was Lysander who had grabbed my hand.
"Don’t do as he is asking, Silas. He is using black magic. Just leave from here with Velric and leave everything to us."
Lysander threw me toward Velric and Orian, and they both took out their swords. But those injuries were getting worse and worse.
"Krivan, please stop!" I shouted, and he looked at me with a smiling face like he was doing something noble. But my eyes only looked at him with disgust.
And suddenly, I saw a sword going in and out of Damon’s stomach.
"It’s all your brother’s fault. You had everything, and still you snatched my Silas away from me," Krivan said.
"I wish I was a priest instead of your brother and a member of the pack. I would have killed this bastard with just a drop of my blood," I heard Theron’s words.
And the next moment, Theron’s throat got slit, and he fell down, glancing at me without moving.
Damon and Theron were on the ground. As they were going to kill Krivan, they were getting killed.
"Damonnn... Theronnn!" I ran toward them, Kael and Lysander, and fell to the ground.
And just then, I felt a touch on my feet. When I looked, it was Kael, touching my feet.
"Please forgive us, Silas. We couldn’t protect you," Kael closed his eyes, tears in his eyes.
But seeing my mates’ corpses, I couldn’t handle it. This was something I couldn’t accept. I glanced at Velric—he was still crying and trying to get down from Orian’s arms.
"I’m sorry, Velric," I said, stabbing the sword into my stomach and lying down beside them. Orian and Velric came running to me.
They both were crying. "Why did you do this, Silas?"
"Mumma... you are hurt..."
I grabbed Orian’s hand with one hand and with the other, I patted Velric’s head.
I knew I had failed as a mother, but Krivan was killing everyone just for me. So if I died, then maybe he would give up on me and let my child and brother live.
My eyes closed, seeing Orian’s and Velric’s crying faces. This was something I never wanted—Leaving my five-year-old son alone in this cruel world.
But fate was not with us. And the Moon Goddess, too. It’s her choice, so I will accept it. But please... take care of my son.
