With those words for Mother? My mom immediately turned off the TV as we began to call hospital by hospital, asking for Aria with her full name.

Still, nobody had any information on somebody like that. Most of them said they had no patience for that situation to come around after a whole day of continuously searching for Aria. I felt so tired and frustrated. Even my mum had gotten frustrated with our continuous search, but I still felt sad now that I had called multiple hospitals and could not find her.

It made me even more worried; what could have possibly happened to her? I knew that she could not stay missing this long. Was she even truly in an accident, and why have none of them even tried to call me? if I ever find her and I got to know that Timothy and Jaxon knew about it but never tried to call me. I would make sure to show them how emotional and how bad I felt about it. I was one of them. I was their friend, but yet they neglected me.

"Look, Mary, I think it’s time for us to rest. " my mom muttered to me.

"We have been calling nonstop. I think I’ve run out of saliva to call out Aria’s name. I would retire to bed. I think you should do the same thing, too," my mum said to me before walking upstairs, leaving only me with the phone in my hand as I stared at the next hospital call line.

Was I going to do this all day without rest just because I wanted to find Aria? What if she doesn’t want me around? I thought to myself.

"I should at least call this last hospital line, and if I get new news about her, then I can gladly retire to bed with a peaceful mind. I tried my best," I said to myself as I did; the hospital line rang for some time, but no one picked it up. I wasn’t going to give up because no one picked it up.

I know how busy the hospital can be, so I called again, and they picked up. The person seemed in a hurry as she asked me what I wanted.

I told her I was looking for a friend of mine who was sick and Aria. She told me to give her some seconds as she went through her patient list, only Aria.

" An older woman was just admitted a few minutes ago with the name Aria, and no one else of that name or situation was in that hospital." She informed me before ending the call I felt my heart shatter, as I could never be this sad.

Does this mean that she was not even in the hospital to begin with? Was I going to go back to the older woman and tell her that I did not find Aria in the hospital daughter?

I knew I had not called the hospital, but I had called the most important ones. Why was she not there? I just hoped that whatever was happening, Aria was in a safe hand and that Nita had come back for her. This was all Maya’s fault. If only she had let Aria be in peace, then nothing would happen.

After being so frustrated that I could not find her the next morning, I returned to school since we were on a few days’ holiday.

I decided to just go to the library and read some books to keep myself company till I found Aria. I could not understand, but only Aria continuously stayed in my mind as I had missed her so badly. I had missed all the laughter and all her jokes and how happy she always was despite how sad her life seemed. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

Just then, I saw lots of students running towards the main hall, and situations like that only happened when the school authorities wanted to give bad or good news to the school.

I knew that I needed to hear this due to how badly I wanted to find Aria, who could not be found. But as I got closer to the main hall, my hands began to shake enormously.

What if something had happened to Aria, and they were about to announce it to us? I wouldn’t even want to listen to that, and why would they want to announce something like this on a day when there is no student, and the only ones here are the ones who are striving so badly to pass their exams, which are coming soon?

I was hesitant as I stood in front of the main hall, staring at students rushing in, but the way they panicked, I could tell something had happened, something that was bad and not good. I just hope it has nothing to do with my Aria.

I decided to summon enough courage as I walked into the hall only to see a big image on the school board. It was Maya.

I couldn’t believe my eyes; how could this be Maya? It was just unbelievable. Why would someone do something like that to her? And to most surprised as I was, I realized this happened in school a few days, should I say a day ago, and the weapon seemed to be something random.

Who would have targeted Maya this way? As I continued to stare at the image on the board, I heard some students whispering among themselves and decided to listen to their conversation. Maybe it could lead me to find out what happened to Maya.

"I cannot believe somebody could do this to Maya," one of them began. The other one nodded and then spoke up.

"And to be more precise, the injuries are exactly in the same places as Aria’s injuries. Do you think Aria could have done this to Maya after she recovered", another one said, making me turn to stare at them immediately. Does this mean that they know where she is?
