Aria pov

I stared At Jaxon with admiration.

Even though I was very angry with him, I was too happy that he stood up for me when I needed him to. What the way he stared at me That made me a bit angry, for he still had some sort of hatred in his eyes.

Rachel could not believe what she had just seen as she stared at him in shock.

"What is the meaning of this?" She said to Jaxon, and Jaxon slowly let go of her hand.

"I am not stopping you; I just do not want us to cause any commotion for little things you should let be." he said very casually to her.

"Aria is not someone you are supposed to be fighting with; She has her issues, too. Should let be," Jaxon said to Rachel, making me smile widely.

She stared at me for a while and slowly returned to her seat. Or should I say my seat, and she comfortably relaxed on it? I walked towards her and stood firm yet again. I was not going to let her win at all.

"Even though you wanted to slap me, and someone stopped, you should stand up, those people." I said to Her very boldly.

"You are so funny. I cannot believe you are still on this matter when you can see I am winning over here." she mocked me making some students laugh loudly at me.

"Do not mind that she is trying to prove a point because she is somehow related to Jaxon". One of the students here, as I turned to her, rolled my eyes very angrily and disrespectfully to her, but she did not care and just chuckled before taking her seat.

"This is not about being related to Jaxon or not; it’s just to avoid everything I have heard concerning you. I knew that there would be a lot of problems, and the first thing you decided to do was to take my seat. I did not want that more than anything in this world; I did not want to be involved in your fake life."I said to Rachel, and she seemed so shocked that she reluctantly fell on her seat before sitting up well.

Jaxon continued to go through his phone like he did not even exist. I couldn’t understand what connected them, but I still appeared cool about it.

Rachel stood up angrily at home. "Do you know what I will tell you right now is the truth and nothing else but the truth?" She muttered to me, but I rolled my eyes; not caring about anything, she said she walked towards me.

"Let me tell you something: till We all graduate from one class to another, and even in that other class, if Jaxon is sitting close to you I would kick you out and take my rightful place because I belong to him, and not to you," she said to me, and I couldn’t help but start laughing loudly.

"Are you doing all this stupid stuff because you think there is anything between the both of us? Jaxon belongs to you; just so you know, Jaxon is my stepbrother, not my boyfriend, so I do not know what connects you two together, but I do not care; I just want to have my seat and take lectures. That is all!" I said to her.

For some minutes, she was speechless, unable to say anything but stare at me. I could tell I was winning, but this was not about winning; I wanted Peace of Mind and nothing else. She stared at me for some minutes before standing up and hanging her bag on her shoulder. I continue to watch her as she makes her way from that seat.

She slowly walked towards me. For the first time, Jaxon put down his phone, staring at her in shock. Even the students began to whisper among themselves. She had just stood up for me, something I’m sure had never happened before.

"do not think I am leaving this seat for you because I do not have a choice. I will sit here for as long as I want, but for me to make a move and leave this place. Just be rest assured that you will suffer badly. You understand. I will make life a living hell for you from now on." She said to me, and as she walked past me. She bumped her shoulder against me.

I rolled my eyes out of annoyance before taking my seat as Jaxon stared at me for some seconds. I know we were so many enemies at this stage, but I do not care after all He never told me he had a girlfriend he was in love with, and now she is a queen bee of the school. What an annoying nuisance she was going to be.

As I brought out all my necessary books and writing equipment. I noticed she was staring at me and was about to stand up to say something to me but just then the teacher walked in, and everyone was silent.

The lecture went as expected, as no one noticed me in the class, which I was grateful for, after that, the teacher left the class, but I continued to write down some necessary things I needed.

I looked up only to see that everyone had left the class, including the so-called Rachel, and it was only me and Jaxon in the class. He was no longer going through his phone but sketching in his sketchbook.

He soon looked up at me as our gaze fell on each other. We stared at each other for some seconds, not saying anything.

But I looked away as I did not want any emotions to come between us, I just felt like the feelings between the birth of us was slowly fading away and that wasn’t right but I had no choice..too many ladies were already involved with him.
