Aria pov

"Can you just let go of me? I have told you my mind, and that is all. Let’s just end this matter, and I can be free."I said to him, but he shook his head negatively.

"I cannot Aria; You belong to me. We signed that when we became intimate with each other. Do you get that," he said to me but I stared at him in shock as I almost choked.

I can’t believe he was boldly saying something like this to me. I removed my hand from his with all the force in me, and for some weird reason, he let go of me.

He smiled awkwardly before pulling me close to him and hugging me tightly.

"Do you understand?" He said to me again to be sure I heard, and soon let go of me.

He turned around and was about to leave, but I would not let him leave like that. I also needed to give a statement. He needs to hear some words from me, too. I also have the authority to say my mind, and the thing from my mind is nothing more than the truth.

"Jaxon I do not belong to you, and we were intimate because I fell for your tricks", I said to him, making him pause in his footsteps.

He turned to look at me in surprise, but I really did not care and stared at him directly in the eyes. He walked towards me slowly, and I stepped back in fright. I knew he was about to say something aggressive to me with the kind of frown on his face; It was so noticeable.

"Aria. Are you trying to say that you made a mistake by loving me?"Jaxon said to me, and even though deep within me, deep in my mind, I never saw him as a mistake. I knew I had to make him feel like he was a mistake.

"Yes. I saw you as nothing but mistakes, and that will change now because I don’t plan on making any mistakes in my life Any more mistakes I would ever make", I said to him with all the guts in me, I could see him clenching his fists tightly in anger, but I did not care. It wasn’t like he was going to punch me in the face. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

He could do everything else but not touch me. I could tell he was holding in his rage, and that was all I needed. I walked past him and opened the door. He still did not say anything to me till I left.

As I walked through the hallway of the school premises. I felt a bit saddened, although I was happy at first, but now I felt sad, but I did it and continued to walk down the hallway.

I just continued to walk and walk till I noticed I was in the cafeteria. I decided to sit in the cafeteria for some privacy since it wasn’t lunchtime, so people would not be there it would be a bit less crowded.

As I entered the cafeteria, I saw only two individuals in the corner having a little chit-chat. I decided to find a seat at a corner quietly.

As I sat there, I brought out my phone, and for some unknown reason, I called my mom, it rang continuously and she didn’t pick up even though I called her more than once. I ended up deciding not to call her anymore. I snapped my hand on my forehead in frustration, not knowing why I even initiated the call in the first place when I had a heated argument with her. I guess I just needed someone to talk to.

I looked up at the wall clock, and it was almost time for Mary to finish her classes. At least I would have someone to talk to.

As I sat waiting for Mary to finish her lectures, I heard a commotion downstairs. Even the people who were talking earlier rushed to the window to see what was happening.

Curious, I wondered if it had something to do with Rachel and Jaxon and their constant lovey-dovey scenes. I rolled my eyes put my hands over my ears to drown out the noise and hummed a tune.

Suddenly, Mary rushed in with a look of shock on her face. She grabbed my hand and told me that Maya was back and had bruises on her body.

Timothy had brought her in and she seemed really sick. We rushed to the window and saw Maya walking towards the building with Timothy’s help.

As I stared at the scene, I could feel Mary’s gaze on my face. I could tell that she expected me to be shocked, but I would not act shocked, and besides, nothing was shocking about Maya returning to school after she was always meant to return.

The only thing shocking about this whole scenario was that Jaxon was right at the corner with Rachel, and they were having some weird discussion. Even though Jaxon seemed to have blanked out a bit and was busy checking on his phone, I guess the incident with Maya returning to school was still shocking him too but knowing of that bothered me. I was just too stunned that Timothy would do something like this. I cannot believe he is so close to Maya.

I went back to my seat and sat down in shock, and Mary joined me. She began to laugh like she was unable to believe what she saw.

"Can you imagine they are treating Maya like a celebrity just because she had little injuries? I am sure she caused it to herself. "Mary began, but I was not listening.

" I am very sure Tim doesn’t know that you returned to school today and I am more than sure that is why he is acting so close to Maya in public, he is betraying you in public." Mary muttered to me.
