Mercenary's War-Chapter 2151 - 2128: Cannot Say
It’s been twenty hours since Gao Yang was detained by Mario. While plane after plane took off, all headed to Italy, Gao Yang remained unaware, hoping only for a moment’s sleep.
With harsh lights glaring into his eyes, Gao Yang felt increasingly drowsy. Finally, his eyelids shut, but as soon as they did, a sudden wave of pain jolted him wide awake.
Fatino turned a switch, sending a weak electric current through the needle embedded in Gao Yang’s body, causing him to tremble violently.
Despite the violent tremors, he was fixed to a chair, unable to escape the restraints. When the current hit, an intense suffering accompanied by a deep itch penetrated his bones. The sharp pain and intolerable itchiness instantly brought Gao Yang back to full consciousness.
Fatino smiled and said, "I told you, don’t close your eyes. Closing your eyes will only bring more pain. This is just the weakest current. How does it taste?"
After speaking with a grin, Fatino turned off the switch. Gao Yang, who had been shaking violently, was drenched in sweat, as if he’d been fished out of water.
He gasped for air, looked at Fatino, and said breathlessly, "I feel great! Even better than F**k your mom."
Fatino released the switch, chuckling, "Go on waiting until the moment you can’t hold out anymore."
Gao Yang was completely devoid of sleepiness, but he also lost the strength and interest to talk to Fatino. Moreover, he truly didn’t dare close his eyes again because, although the current was weak, the placement of the electrodes on his body, chosen by Fatino, inflicted unbearable pain.
Gao Yang felt that if it happened again, he would be defeated by the pain. He truly preferred to die instantly rather than be electrocuted again. Truth be told, he even began to wish Fatino would stab him rather than connect the electricity.
Still very tired, he desperately wanted to close his eyes and sleep, but immense fear restrained him from giving in to the urge to close his eyes.
Gao Yang felt he endured for a very long time, but in fact, less than an hour had passed before his drowsiness overcame him again.
Unconsciously, Gao Yang closed his eyes once more, and predictably, the electric current snapped him back to full alertness, as if his soul was being yanked from his body.
The current persisted for twenty seconds. Gao Yang shuddered violently, tears, snot, and saliva ran uncontrollably, and then he finally lost control, with both feces and urine flowing out.
Fatino covered his nose, chuckling, "Oh my God, it stinks."
As he slowly turned off the power, the violently trembling Gao Yang collapsed in exhaustion, though his body remained bound to the chair, unable to move.
After panting for a long time, Gao Yang stared at Fatino and croaked hoarsely, "I’ll tell you whatever you ask, just stop this, please."
Fatino shrugged and laughed, "Can’t hold on already? Where did the tough guy go?"
He stood up, picked up a water hose, and turned the valve, directing a powerful stream of water at Gao Yang. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Desperately thirsty, Gao Yang opened his mouth, hoping to catch some water, but Fatino didn’t aim the stream at his head. He could only try to catch the splashes in his mouth, and even so, the drops he managed to catch were unbelievably precious to him.
"Alright, not so stinky now. Now, tell me everything you know. Tell me where Justin is."
With no more water droplets, Gao Yang sighed with disappointment, then struggled to swallow before whispering, "I don’t know, I really don’t. It’s not that I won’t say."
Fatino snapped his fingers, raised an eyebrow, and said with excitement, "Impressive! Truly a tough guy. No worries, we’ll continue. I have the patience to wait."
Gao Yang had completely run out of any sleepiness, but his clarity lasted a short while before the endless wave of fatigue overwhelmed him again and again, each time stronger bringing greater impact, until he inevitably closed his eyes again.
Predictably, the conclusion was the same. Gao Yang once more lost control under the electric current, and the pervasive, deep-seated pain made him wish for death.
Fatino, disgusted, turned off the electrical switch, picked up the hose again, and washed Gao Yang and the floor, exclaiming loudly, "How do you still have anything left? How much did you eat, this is disgusting."
After tossing the hose back to the floor, Fatino sat back in his chair, smugly asking, "Want to keep playing the tough guy?"
Gao Yang didn’t even have the strength to breathe; he murmured, "I really don’t know. How long do you plan to waste before you understand that?"
Fatino rubbed his hands together and said, "Alright, let’s talk about something else then. Like, your Mercenary Group. I hear you guys are pretty impressive, tell me what you guys have done, let me see."
Gao Yang wanted to shake his head but found he couldn’t move it. He spoke weakly yet firmly, "I can’t tell you that."
Fatino chuckled, "Oh, you’re quite impressive, aren’t you? You can’t say it now, but you will later. No rush, I have all the patience."
Gao Yang’s lucid periods grew increasingly brief, interrupted by relentless electric shocks that made him wish for death.
As time trickled by, Gao Yang was truly worse off than dead. His eyes remained open but he was unconscious; he never managed to sleep, and even with Fatino increasing the current, there was nothing left for him to release.
Fatino finally grew slightly anxious. Twenty-two hours had gone by, and still, Gao Yang hadn’t divulged anything.
Increased the current one more level, and Gao Yang, foaming at the mouth while trembling, regained a fleeting awareness. Fatino, with a hideous snarl, demanded, "Tell me your real name!"
"I can’t..."
Gao Yang would only repeat that phrase over and over, just as he had from the beginning. No matter what Fatino asked, that remained his solitary response.
Gao Yang’s breathing grew more labored, his speech resembling the scrape of wood against wood due to severe dehydration.
Fatino finally got frustrated. Struggling to keep his emotions in check, with a deep breath, he turned the current back on. Though the weakest current no longer pained Gao Yang greatly, he had become accustomed to it; yet even on the lowest setting, it ensured he couldn’t sleep.
With the electricity still flowing, Fatino left the interrogation room. Exhaling deeply outside the door, he instructed someone outside, "Give him some water, don’t let him die of dehydration; keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn’t sleep!"
"Where are you going?"
Fatino, agitated, replied, "I’m going to rest! I have to wait him out, and as the drugs wear off, his willpower will be clearer than now. I need to prepare for outlasting him another twenty-four hours!"
