Chapter 784 Clash of Flames

In the heart of the volcanic battleground, the air crackled with an otherworldly tension as Malifira was singled out by Desira, and Vivi.

The molten rocks beneath them seemed to hum with anticipation.

Desira smirked. "Did you miss me, Mel?"

Malifira chuckled, a sound that echoed through the fiery landscape. "I wanted to say yes, but unfortunately, you're not someone who's easily missed."

Desira's raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"

Malifira beamed, her expression unyielding. "I mean that you're annoying."

Desira couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Ha?! The last time I checked, you're the one who's jealous of me!"

Malifira's amusement lingered in her eyes as she countered, "Really, now? Who's the one who's always pushing me away from Obsidian X because she was jealous?"

Desira's eyelids twitched.

"Malifira, why are you doing this?! Vivi interjected, her voice carrying a sense of urgency, "Obsidian X is alive. He's Lord Azazel. You feel it too, right?"

Malifira's laughter subsided, and a moment of silence hung in the air. The mention of Lord Azazel seemed to stir something within her.

"That's right, I know who he is," Malifira finally admitted, her tone shifting as she briefly glance over at Azazel.

Vivi's face lit up with hope.

"Then . . ." Vivi began, eager to have Malifira on their side.

Malifira interjected, her words cutting through the tension, "However, I have something to take care of, and you're in the way. Tell you what, since we were friends in the past, I'll turn a blind eye on this and let you walk away and live."

Desira nodded thoughtfully. "Too bad, I was planning to offer you the same thing."

The volcanic atmosphere seemed to escalate with the rising tension, and the clash of conflicting motives set the stage for an impending confrontation.

Malifira took a deep breath. "I see . . . too bad then."

Without further words, the trio engaged in a fierce battle, each deploying their unique skills and powers in an attempt to gain the upper hand.

Magical energies clashed, tinkering devices sparked, and alchemical concoctions exploded in a dazzling display of power.

The battleground became a canvas for the intricate dance between the Alchemist, the Mage, and the Tinker.

Desira and Vivi, with an unspoken understanding born from years of camaraderie, coordinated their attacks seamlessly. They exploited weaknesses, anticipated moves, and countered with precision.

Malifira, however, proved to be no easy adversary, employing a mix of alchemical prowess and arcane mastery.

In the midst of the chaos, the echoes of past friendships resonated, adding a layer of complexity to the confrontation.

Each clash of spells and inventions seemed to carry the weight of history, and the question lingered –– would their past connections be enough to sway Malifira?

Meanwhile, Lorelai engaged Salister, who kept evading her with continuous retreats.

Lorelai relentlessly pursued Salister, the echoes of their confrontation reverberating through the fiery landscape.

The devil trickster skillfully evaded Lorelai's onslaught, dancing around her with uncanny agility.

"Stop running! Come here and face me, you coward!" Lorelai demanded, her angelic aura pulsating with anger.

Salister continued to dodge and weave, his devilish face contorting in annoyance. "Eek! How did you even come here?! Go away! Go back to the mortal world where you belong, you wench!"

The angel Paladin brandished Demonsbane, a celestial sword crafted to deal extra damage against demons and devils. "Give back those souls you took to their rightful owners, or I will cut you limb from limb!"

"Dream on, princess!" Salister growled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "I will not give up these souls! They're important in defeating these warlords!"

Feeling the pressure of Lorelai's relentless pursuit, and sensing that he couldn't avoid her forever, Salister reluctantly decided to face her head-on.

He harnessed the power of the collected souls and summoned a colossal entity to aid him.

"So persistent. If you want to die, then so be it!" Salister grumbled, a tinge of disappointment in his voice. Despite his reservations, he had no choice but to utilize the souls at his disposal.

With a swift incantation, a massive volcanic titan materialized on the battlefield.

The titan stood tall and imposing, its body comprised of molten rock and fiery lava. Its colossal form emanated an ominous heat that distorted the air around it. The creature's eyes glowed with an intense, malevolent light, reflecting the infernal power coursing through its veins.

Salister perched on the titan's shoulder, his staff pointed menacingly at Lorelai. "Now, die!"

The titan lumbered forward, its colossal footsteps shaking the ground beneath. Lava dripped from its molten form, leaving a trail of searing heat in its wake. Lorelai tightened her grip on Demonsbane, her angelic wings unfurling as she prepared for the impending clash.

As the titan closed in, Salister cackled from his elevated vantage point. "Let's see how your precious Demonsbane fares against the might of my creation!"

Lorelai was undeterred, and charged toward the colossal foe. With a swift and decisive swing, she aimed her celestial sword at the titan's leg.

Demonsbane, pulsating with angelic energy, cut through the molten exterior, causing sparks to fly.

The titan retaliated with a swing of its massive arm, but Lorelai gracefully dodged the attack, showcasing her agility and divine prowess.

The clash continued, with Lorelai maneuvering strategically to exploit weaknesses in the titan's defenses.

Salister, perched on the titan's shoulder, directed the creature's movements. "Crush her! Crush the meddling wrench!"

However, Lorelai's wasn't a foe easily defeated. With a series of precise strikes, she targeted vulnerable spots on the titan's body.

Each blow caused eruptions of molten rock, revealing the celestial energy pulsating within.

However, every time the princess chipped off a fragment from the Titan's massive molten rocks, Salister swiftly cast spells, incorporating the dislodged rocks from the lava into the Titan's form, seamlessly fashioning new armors and limbs for the colossal creature.

"Ahahaha! It's futile! No matter how much you slice and chip off my Titan, I will just infuse these molten rocks to shape its armor and limbs. As long as we're in this volcano, my Titan is immortal!"
