There was a raucous, as everybody wanted to stay and fight, even those who were glaring at me, but not everyone could stay.

Even from the old Grand Lords, only Matron Mavis is the only one who is staying to fight.

Of the forty-nine Grand Lords, only eleven are staying.

Matron Mavis, Supreme Commander, and her sister, Lady Vivian, twins, Sarah, Rachel, Kevin, Rai, Jill, Ellen, Elina, and me.

"These seeds will help you in sealing your power, and in the box are seeds for a group of people you are taking," I said and forwarding the boxes toward them.

Even those who have sent their projection there have returned.

"These are the resources if we fail; these will help you create a new badge of Grand Lords with enough time," I said to their shock and sent storage rings toward them.

They took the storage rings in there, and a couple of seconds later, their eyes widened in shock. There is not a single Grand Lord who does is not shocked; even the old ones too have been shocked.

It is not just a Grand Lord class resource I have given, but they are the most important ones.

"Where do you get these resources?" asked Joana. To that, I smiled.

I have nearly emptied everything I have; I have only kept less than 10% of what I had harvested, but given the number of Grimms I killed and the resources I have harvested from them, it is a huge amount.

"Use them wisely," I said, and they nodded.

"You all have fifteen minutes to say goodbye to your family and friends," said Matron Mavis to us, those who are staying.

Those who are leaving are taking their families with them; this is a privilege that only Grandmasters and above-level powerhouses have, and each too allocated a limited number of family and friends they could take with them.

Those who they could not take will move to different safe spaces, but not as safe and hidden as they are leaving for.

I smiled at friends who were leaving and wished I could talk to them more, but I did not have time.

I could only smile at them before I disappeared and appeared in my hope, where my father was waiting for me with my sister.

"Have you packed?" I asked my father as I took my sister in my hand. "Yes," he said. I informed him of what was happening a few minutes ago and asked him to pack his bags.

He will be leaving with my sister; they will be going to a very safe place.

"Do you able to find out anything about your mother?" he asked. To that, I smiled. "She is in a very safe place; even Grimms would not be able to go there," I said, and I could see him relax visibly hearing that.

From what Joana told him, it is space made from the power of their art, and only those who comprehended the empire of mist would be able to enter inside.

Those without it would be lost inside it forever.

"I wish you could come with us," he said, "Me too," I replied. I truly wish I could go with my family, but it is not a choice I have.

I have to remain here to defend our world, and even if I need to sacrifice my life, I will do it without hesitation.

I talked to my father for about ten minutes before my expression became serious.

"It is time," I said, and a formation appeared below feet, and a second later, we have appeared in a huge hall with a teleportation formation. Already quite a lot of people have already gathered here, and they have begun entering the formation.

"Lord Zaar," said Lady Angela as I appeared. "Lady Angela, please take care of them," I said to the old woman.

They are in Lady Angela's group; she is the most powerful among those who are leaving, and I feel safe to have my family under her care.

"Don't worry, I will not let anything happen to her," she said; I nodded my thanks and turned to my sister.

"Brother loves, you know that, right," I said as I hugged the little one. "Are you and mommy going to be fine?" she asked worriedly.

"Don't worry, we will be fine, and soon we will come to get you," I said as I kissed her cheeks gently.

"I will miss you, brother," she said with tears welling up in her eyes. She might not know the things that are happening, but she still could feel something is not right.

"I will miss you too, rose," I said and hugged her again as I vaporized the tears welling up in my eyes.

A minute later, I saw them entering the teleportation formation.

"I hope you all will be victories," said Lady Angela and stepped into the formation. After she left, the teleportation turned off on its own, and the crystal plate containing the coordinates of the place they had for turned to dust.

Even a few pieces of teleportation formation that could help access the rough location had also turned into dust.

We are not taking any risks aside from the supreme commander; nobody knows the exact coordinates of where they went. Even I am only aware of where my sister went and no other place.

Though I could probably guess a few places, and if I used the seeds, I would be able to locate most of them.

As they left, I disappeared and appeared in another hall where people were entering the formation. This group is being led by the professor; Marina is going with her sister while Elina is staying.

As I appeared, I saw Marina hugging Elina with tears dripping from her eyes.

This time she did not hide herself under the cloak; she fully revealed herself in front of her daughter, with who she only gets to spend scant minutes.

Soon, everyone had left through the formation, and only four had remained when Marina walked toward me, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Protect her; I will not be able to bear losing her," she said as she appeared in front of me. "Don't worry, nothing will happen to her as long as I am alive," I promised, and I intend to keep that.

She nodded and, to my surprise, came closer to me and kissed my lips.

For a moment, I wasn't able to react as I had not thought she would do it in front of her daughter, but soon, I responded, letting go of all the inhibitions.

Our kiss lasted for nearly half a minute before Marina pulled away unwillingly.

"I can't bear to lose you too, Michael," she said and touched my cheek gently before walking away with her sister, and soon she disappeared, leaving Elina and me alone, who was now glaring at me intensely.

"Why, my mother, Michael, why? This is going to make things really awkward," she said angrily and disappeared, while I remained stumped on my spot, before a smile appeared on my face.

She is not as angry as I thought she would be when she found out about my relationship; like a Professor, she already seemed to have the inkling, and the kiss just confirmed it.

She looked more irritated by it than angry, and if we survive, then we are going to have a long talk about it.
