CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG

The attacks were coming fast and hard, injuring me so much that now it had injured me enough that I could not even harness my strength.

If it were not for my rule power, which is aiding me, I wouldn't have even been able to fight.

My injuries are grave enough that a normal person could not fight having them.

"You are losing too soon, human; I thought you might be able to keep me entertained for a few minutes, but it seemed like you won't survive even by the end of the minute," it said with a laugh and attacked me.

It had attacked me thousands of times in the past few minutes, and each of its attacks was powerful enough to obliterate me if it hit directly.

I am barely defending against it, but if my injuries kept getting worse, then even doing that wouldn't be possible, and if that happened, then there would be only one end for me.

"Try, human, try; you have excited me; it would be a shame if you died without properly satiating me," It said and pressed me with even greater power.

I gritted my teeth and used every bit will I had to harness every bit of the power, but it obviously did not seem enough.

BANNNNG!

I was barely defended before I came crashing down on the ground hard, breaking even more bones and spurting out pale blood from all my orifices.

Since the first time I had crashed on the stone ground, I was able to avoid it, but now, I have crashed on the ground again, getting further injured, that even with my body burning with energy, I could not muster the strength to rise.

I could feel my friends shouting and trying to come to rescue me, including Rai, who had begun to suppress the Grimms but could not as the Grimms had stopped them.

"It seemed like I had expected too much of you," it said with a sigh, and I was struggling to open my mouth to reply when I suddenly stopped.

Buzz!

Inside my core, Rhaek had turned to dust, and my core vibrated a moment later, sending a massive amount of strengthening energies into my runes.

These strengthening energies were truly massive in amount, and purity is even greater than what I have gotten from the Shael.

It came from the runes and filled my body, but just as it did, my body, which is hungry as it is, absorbed it all, that for a fraction of a second, there was no strengthening energy in my body before it came roaring in.

"Well, it seemed I have to drink this disappointment and finish you off," it said and came above me before bringing down its huge claw at me to finish me off.

BANNNNG!

I flipped at the last moment, avoiding the claw by hair breath distance, before getting up, which it did not like.

"It seemed like there is still some spirit remaining in you," it said and attacked me with its claws, the speed of the attack being much faster and stronger than before, at least double.

CLANNNNNG!

I was barely able to move my sword before the attack had clashed against me, forcing me to spurt out a large amount of blood with cooked pieces of flesh while shooting me up, with even greater injuries than before.

As the injuries appeared, the strengthening energy spread into them, beginning to heal rapidly while at the same time strengthening them.

For the first time since I had gotten the energy, I am wishing it could come faster to me. Heal me and strengthen me, as it is coming at me, and soon, its attack, with break even more of my bones.

CLANNNNNNG!

As I had expected, it appeared in front of me a second later and attacked me again with even greater power, instantly upending all the healing that had been done while sending me back at an even greater speed.

The runes seemed to understand the hunger and need of my body, as they were pouring more and more strengthening energy at a faster rate, but I needed them to be even faster.

CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG CLANNNNNNG

Another attack came, and then another, and then another; they continued coming, without a moment of rest, overwhelming me.

I struggled, but after some time, the change began to occur in my condition, a faint at first before becoming stronger with every passing second.

While I am getting injured, the strengthening energy is healing my body but also strengthening me, which requires more and more energy to injure me to a similar degree as before.

A few more seconds passed, and I began to heal faster than I began to get injured; despite the constant attack, I am healing, and half a minute later, I was fully healed.

Now, I am only getting injured by the attack and will heal fully before the next attack hits me.

It is a vicious cycle, but there is no escaping it; I do not have the power, and regretfully, what Rhaek is providing me would not be enough to give me a better chance.

Though it will help me stay in the field longer, which is akin to giving me a better chance again it.

"So, you were hiding your strength," it said, once again excitement building its eyes. "The question is, how much are you hiding?" It asked, and I felt the power of the coming attack increasing suddenly.

CLANNNNNNG!

It hit me, and immediately, tens of bones of my body broke away, and blood spurted out of my orifices, while at the same time, the healing energy spread into the injuries and began healing them.

The dance continued, and I began to digest the strengthening energy at an incredible rate that I had completely absorbed the strengthening energy within three and half minutes.

It was quite shocking when as earlier, I had needed more than fifteen minutes to absorb the strengthening energy from the Shael, and it was not the only strengthening energy I was absorbing.

I wish it would have lasted for at least that much time, but it did not, and I am not ready; I need more time if I want to pin it down.

CLANNNNNNG!

Once again, the attack had hit me and sent me flying at an even greater speed, but this time, there was no strengthening energy to heal me.

One after another attack came, and I defended it while getting more and more injured, while at the same time, I began to take more risks with my methods, which could easily make it discover what I am doing.

It would be bad if that happened, but what choice do I have?

It is this or dies, which I will do when it injures like before. So, I am taking risks, taking a chance, before its claw finally rips me and I die.

Hun!

A few more seconds passed when the badge notified me of something, and a moment later, I sensed what pyramid had told me.

I felt horror, and I begin to massage her like crazy.

The person I have never wanted on the battlefield has arrived.

My mother has appeared, and she is coming to join the battlefield, despite my request for her to run away.
