CLANNNG!

Its saber fell down on my sword, and for the first time, I shook; it was faint, but I did. The power was really immense, not just physical, but also energy.

It had come in like the flood, and my armor being ready, absorbed it like a sponge, leaving not a drop of it and immediately beginning processing; despite that, I couldn't help but feel hot all over due to it.

"This is the power I was waiting for," I said with a grin.

"Don't be so happy; this is just the beginning," it grinned back and attacked with the speed and power that surpassed its previous attack, but I had been ready for it and responded immediately.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

It came at me like a tornado, clashing its saber against my tiny sword, but unlike last time, there was no shaking from me, which made its eyes flash in anger and attacked me with even greater power.

I responded, increasing the power of my defense to match its, while my clones did theirs to aid me in every way.

Time passed, and we continued without stopping till I reached the maximum power I could harness through the second boost.

The power we are using is immense, so much that we could crush the world in a matter of seconds.

In front of it, it is as fragile as paper and which is why I couldn't let the Grimms win.

A few seconds passed, and I was about to activate the third boost when it suddenly stopped and looked at me with all seriousness in its eyes.

"Even in my wildest dreams, I had never truly thought this world would be able to produce someone of your power," it said while the space around us built.

"If you had come a few hours later, you would have found a lot more people with far greater power than I have right now," I replied.

"Which is about right, and that is why I kill you and every human in the world, even those you sent to hide," it said while projecting its vast killing intent.

I am not surprised it knows about them; any person with enough intelligence could guess that.

"Hahahaha…"

"You will not be able to because I will kill you," I said, and it laughed loudly that it took more than a minute to calm himself down.

"It seemed like our clash till now had given you the wrong impression about my strength; let me correct how you are you are," it said, and a golden aura, so thick that it felt solid, came out of it.

Unlike before, it did not spread and instead gathered above it, forming a giant bloodline phantom.

The phantom seemed to have riled up the world even more as more of its power began to press against it, but it was more than strong enough to bear it without losing even an ounce of its strength.

Seeing it, my expression too turned serious as I knew; it would now use its most powerful attacks.

"Flames of Yrat!" It said, and dense golden flames covered its whole body and saber, which swung toward me.

Third Burst!

The power of the third burst filled my body so much that it started to leak till it was absorbed by my armor, but even with such power, I had no confidence in killing it.

My sword moved to defend against it while the silver flamed spin against its blade at a very fast speed. These are no simple silver flames but a very powerful move I had named crushing flames.

I had created it to deal with such attacks.

CLANNNG!

Finally, our weapons clashed, and I nearly took a step back while all the flames on its body came at me, but to its shock, more than half of those flames were swept in revolving flames, while 40% came at me.

It instantly covered my body, but just as it did, it immediately got absorbed into my armor, which had faintly shone for a moment before turning to normal.

As it happed, it came at me with another attack.

CLANNNG CLANNNG CLANNNG

Another attack right after that and then another; the flames on them were stronger and stronger.

I also poured more and more power into my defense; holding anything back will have a great cost, so I did not.

A minute passed, and we had clashed thousands of times, creating such destruction that would make anyone's soul shudder, but I did not even glance at it, focusing my all on the battle while hoping the ring would contain all.

Even if the rings had not been present, the attacks would not have harmed the world directly, but indirectly, they would have caused huge damage.

There are hundreds of runes floating around very close to us; they are low-level runes, and they would have been destroyed by our attacks.

Every ruin is important, especially the low-level ones that are close to the world.

Our lowest level practitioners trained there; without them, it would be hard for them to gain resources and advance.

They could not just go to the higher-level ruins; the energy, the pressure, not to mention monsters and others danger, would kill them within a few minutes of taking the steps into the ruin.

It is just one danger that ruin is preventing, not to mention unstable space, which would affect the teleportation inside and raw energies of attacks that would come at the world every few years and ravage large swaths of land in an instant.

"Golden Destruction!"

It shouted suddenly, and the fire around it blazed with such an aura that made my eyes go wide that immediately, I began to harness as much of the power I could from my bursts as I moved my sword to defend against it.

CLANNNNG!

I defended, but the very next moment, I shook and began to take a step back while vomiting the mouthful of my blood, which vaporized in an instant, with shining golden flames covering me.

It had finally shown its power, making the real battle for the survival of my world begin.
