Chapter 3663 Night

?3663 Night

"It is a good thing you both have not shown me any killing intent, or you wouldn't have suffered only this," I said to two lying on the ground screaming. Looking at me, anger and fear.

I had given them what they had promised me. I took their things and broke their bones.

They should be grateful that I have only given them physical injuries. If the man hadn't surrendered, instead of fruitlessly, I might have used some energies and wouldn't have left one medallion behind.

I gave them one last look before walking away.

'It seemed like, that man hadn't given complete information,' I thought as I looked at the information, I had received from the two.

This abandoned ruin had far more interesting things than the information about the man had said. He had intentionally seemed to hide some; he also seemed to be not forth while about all the dangers or maybe he didn't come across them.

There are cultists in here, belonging to the several cults.

Those two had been here for eight days and had come across two cults. One time, they were barely able to run away with their life intact.

I have got more information, but I am not changing my path. I am still moving toward the forge; there is another spot there, closer to the forge.

It might help me increase my strength if the information about it is right.

I looked above and moved a little faster; the nights are dangerous here. Those two had also confirmed it. I needed to cover as much distance as possible before the evening came.

Two hours passed, and I came across several monsters, including three Sky Sovereigns.

I have also come across a native, and with him, I exchanged the information. There was no conflict. We exchanged the information and moved toward our respective destination.

One hour remained before the sun went down.

Thankfully, I didn't have to find a safe place now. While the energies of this are dangerous, my abode is capable of bearing them; not that I would take the risk of it.

Hun!

A few minutes passed when suddenly I sensed something with my waves. I sent a few more and when they came back, I wisely changed my path.

There is a battle going, on between a Sky Sovereign native and two monsters. It is close, but due to it under the artifacts, I wasn't able to sense it and if not for my waves, I would have gone closer to it, than I liked.

I don't want to be seen by the Sky Sovereigns, not only monsters but also people. I don't trust them.

It could be said, that I trust monsters more than people. The only reason I had shown myself to the people was because I needed the information and they had it.

If I had the information, I would have been fine being invisible.

'It seemed like, I am not the only one who is avoiding the battle,' I thought when I noticed three people, in different directions, moving away from the battle.

I passed by one but didn't exchange information. I rather not show myself close to the battle.

A few minutes passed, and the battle ended, I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw Sky Sovereign moving opposite direction of mine. Still, I had remained quiet for a minute to be careful, before resuming my journey.

Soon, the sky began to darken, but I didn't stop.

I kept moving, but a few minutes later, I slowed down when I saw how fast the energy was getting denser.

Within minutes, it had become so dense that regular Sky Sovereigns could forget surviving in it, and it still gets denser and der.

An hour later, it had got dense enough that I had stopped and dropped my abode into the ground. A few seconds after that, I stepped into it, while the stone, that my abode had turned to begin to burrow into the ground.

The energy had got dense enough that it had turned threatening to me, and it was still getting denser.

All the information I had received said, that the energy became dense enough, that only Sky Sovereign could survive in it.

I thought it was an exaggeration, but it is not, seeing how it is still getting denser.

A few seconds later, my abode stopped after it reached two and a half meters below the ground. Usually, I don't send above to the ground, where there is no physical way out of it, but seeing how dangerous this ruin is, I decided to take a chance.

As for what I will do when something senses my abode and attacked it.

Well, it is likely to happen, but if it does, I will use the teleportation formation. Yes, it had a teleportation formation, and it could be used in this ruin, but the range of it is not more than a hundred meters.

The space here is pretty strong; in the outside world, it could have sent me three times further.

I looked at the data for a few minutes more before I closed my eyes and entered my core. Appearing beside my clone, which is studying the information I have got from three people.

There is a lot of it, and I need to decide what is true and false, while mapping my way as such, I would have to pass by all the places I want to visit, with the last place being the exit.

Which is a little tricky here and dangerous.

The place which used to have the exit gates is no more. So, people need to use a little unconventional and tricky ways to get out.

These ways are dangerous, and one needs to be lucky to get where one wants to be using them, but there is no other choice.

I pushed that thought away; I had just entered the ruin and wouldn't be thinking about leaving for at least a few days. Though I had asked my clone to compile the list of places from where I could leave this place.

I got out of my core and went to the bathroom to shower. After I had it, I entered the kitchen and started to cook a simple dinner.

I ate it alone, before going back to my core.

I went to the library and began to do my homework; I didn't feel like doing it, but I forced myself and remained on the desk, till I finished.

It took longer than usual, but I finished and turned to my inheritance. I want to work on it, but feeling no interest in doing that.

I need to feel interested. I had noticed that the speed of progress had slowed down in the past month. While I had only worked for a few hours a day on my inheritance, it had a huge impact.

It is not like; I don't want to work on it, I do, but I couldn't.

I once again tried, but like the past month, nothing came out. Seeing that, I got out and spent an hour walking around the two islands before getting out and sleeping.

Hoping something would happen in the next few days, that would light up my interest again.
