?Seven hours passed since I had descended this dangerous mountain and got many things, but my biggest haul was the storage ring.

I have found enough things in there, and they are good enough, that even if I return now, there would be a big smile on my face.

I am quite lucky to find it.

It is very hard for spatial rings to remain in such condition for thousands of years, in an environment like this. The only reason it did, is because of its grade; it was pretty high, much better than the one I am wearing on my finger.

A few minutes passed, and I slowed my face.

My expression turned serious, and I took a turn, before crouching down, under a very dangerous-looking broken formation.

I kept walking for a four and half minutes before I had stopped.

In front of me is a scene that I have seen countless times. A shining red formation absorbs the energy and releases the drops, but this one is slightly different.

Before, unlike all the instances, where spatter wasn't bigger than my palm. This one was as wide as my entire arm and tall as my hand. Fully solidified, with energies powerful enough to incinerate me instantly, if I get caught within its explosion.

Strings came out of my hand, and within a second, a fire crystal was in my core.

There was a small on my face, because, unlike all the crystals I had found till now. This one is really useful to me, and the quantity is also big enough.

Now, I hope, I will keep finding things as good as this one, for the rest of my journey. Which won't be much longer, seeing the heat had already reached high enough to incinerate the Peak Earth Sovereigns.

I will be able to go, a little further than normal Peak Sovereigns, with the changes with my armor.

If I use my strings to wrap myself, I will be able to reach a place where top Earth Sovereigns could or even the place weaker Sky Sovereigns could, but not further than that.

I wish I could go further than that, but unfortunately, I couldn't. It is the place where only Sky Sovereigns could go and even with all my abilities, I wouldn't be able to go there.

Till now, I have found only one thing I have come here looking for. The elemental crystals and, ahead, I will find some of better quality.

I hope I will get a few more things.

While I wouldn't have been disappointed since I had got the ring, still, I would have liked to get some things, I hope to get and information said, I might be here.

I didn't need to be disappointed yet. I have yet to reach the end of my journey and until then, anything could happen.

I had just thought that when another explosion rang out, but unlike others. It had rattled me; it was very close, just a hundred meters down.

It had shaken things in such a way that formations moved from their places, with a couple of them shooting toward me.

Puch!

Full power burst through me as I moved to avoid them and I had avoided the four, but the fifth one was too fast. It had been small as a bullet and was powerful enough that it had pierced through my shoulder and come out through the other side.

"Fuck!" I cursed loudly.

It is not tearing through my bones that made me curse. That is a serious, but one I could heal. What made me curse was that it had left powerful energies behind that could incinerate me.

It was a good thing I had created the powerful measures that activated, but the energies were powerful enough to leave even those measures struggling.

Currently, there is a bubble made of runes that contains the energies, but those energies are so powerful that they could tear it apart if they kept burning like this.

That is why these runes are also absorbing some of those energies and sending them to my armor through the link.

If it had been normal formation, it wouldn't have been possible. The energy is powerful enough to burn a Peak Earth Sovereign, but they are being contained in the formation that had the ancient runes.

The link between it and my armor is purely of the ancient runes.

My armor lit up as it accepted the energies and began to process it through the thousands of crushers.

The bubble kept sending the energies and slowly the mayhem began to get in control, till the bubble stopped struggling. As it happened, it began to send more energies and within a minute, the last of the energies had disappeared and processed by my armor.

The bubble went back to its place, ready to react to deal with more attacks, if they came, while I started to heal my bone injury.

It was serious but small and I had healed enough that I could control my hand properly again, which made me relieved. While I didn't use my hand much as I descended the mountain, I needed to keep it in ready shape.

As I dealt with the injury, I found a safe corner and stood there.

There is nothing safe here, but the thick cavity formed by the explosion felt safe because of the sparsity of the broken formations in it.

I could also defend well against any explosion, creating a concave shield, with my back behind the strong wall. It is better than standing in between fallen walls with broken formations everywhere.

'It is time,' I said and sent out soul waves.

I had stopped it with an explosion, while I knew changes triggering something were extremely rare, I didn't want to take the chance.

It only took a second for the first wave to bring data and when I saw it, I couldn't help, but get shocked and a big smile appeared on my face.

It is from the explosion site; that explosion had brought out something that was previously hidden.
