’Clara, what do you think you are doing? Please let it not be what I am thinking’.

’Yes, Elektra. I am going to make him wish he never met me. Benjamin or not, or, werewolf or not. If he likes, let him be the darkness himself. I don’t care. He was the one who hurt Anders after killing his parents. I can not let that slide. Most especially, I hate the proud and unremorseful look on his face’. I mind - linked her and continued to stare at Benjamin, who was staring at me.

We stood still and stared at each other without saying anything to each other.

’No, Clara. I may not be able to sense what is going on, but I feel very unsettled. Please, use your black magic and get away from here!’. Elektra said to me.

Her loud voice revealed how desperate she was.

’It’s too late for that’. This was my reply to Elektra, after giving in to the temptation of the voice that whispered to me.

After I shut my eyes and opened them, I felt like a different person. "I will make you pay, Benjamin, for the evil deeds you have done!". I declared.

All Benjamin did was grin at me, before he threw dark balls at me continuously from his hands.

I made sure to escape all his attacks using my combat skills and did not allow the dark balls to touch me.

As he got close to me, I flew towards him with my feet almost touching the ground.

I grabbed his shoulders and wanted to go for his neck next, but suddenly, a black shadow with a muscular figure came out of Benjamin’s body and Benjamin’s body fell unconscious.

The figure was a man’s figure.

When I let go of Benjamin’s shoulders, he automatically collapsed on the floor.

Then, I fixed my gaze on the shadow that was standing close to the window.

The shadow’s face wasn’t clear, but after he smiled, it became very creepy.

"Is this your true form? What the heck are you?!". I asked him.

"In the beginning, after I suddenly opened my eyes, I existed and had a body. A very strong and majestic demonic body. Then, an idea naturally came to me. Since I am the Lord of the underworld, why don’t I rule over everything? Sadly, after I caused great havoc in the entire world, someone defeated me and made me look like this. I became a shadow because I am not easy to kill". He replied to me.

I had an idea that the Benjamin I was fighting was not the real Benjamin, but seeing the shadow, I could not help but become shocked.

Out of curiosity, I bent down and placed two fingers under Benjamin’s nostrils and discovered that he wasn’t breathing.

"Oh, I forgot to mention earlier. All the bodies I have possessed and taken control of so far, the real owner of the bodies ended up dying instantly. What a magnificent sight to behold!". He exclaimed and clapped his hands.

His actions pissed me off. Who knows how many people he has killed for his amusement? And who knows how many lives have been lost all because he possessed their bodies and took control?

"I can’t allow you to continue to exist, whatever you are!". The instant I said this, the look in my red eyes changed, and it seemed that the eyes were igniting fire.

That’s right, fire, as I was about to make use of my firepower to burn down this evil shadow.

Blaze! Blaze! Blaze!!!

A large amount of fire that was the size of a ball appeared on my palms, and the light of the red fire penetrated to the back of my hands.

"What the-!". He could not finish exclaiming, and I aimed the fireball in my right hand at him and threw it at him, and it hit him.

His shadowed body scattered before it came back together.

"Fire? You have firepower? How is that possible? Only that person has firepower!". He shouted, and I sensed some emotions coming from him. It was fear. As if I was a nightmare to him.

I aimed another fireball at him, and before I could throw it against him, he entered the ground and vanished. I could not see him again.

My gaze shifted back to Benjamin’s body, and I thought, ’Who knew since when that black shadow had possessed your body. I am sorry that I got angry at you. It was the black shadow who killed Anders’ parents and hurt Anders’.

I went and squatted down next to Benjamin’s body. The fire in my hands had vanished, so my right hand reached out to his face, and, using my palm, I covered his eyes, which were open. "May your soul find rest". I muttered and stood up.

With my mind off Benjamin, I thought, ’Gosh. Ever since I became a werewolf, all the strangest things I have not seen or experienced have been happening. Could that thing really be a demon? Demon? We haven’t dealt with the wild beasts and those hybrid creatures, and now, we have a demon in this world too? Where did that thing run off to? Could that thing be the culprit who made that eerily cold cave to exist? Could that thing be the one who did that hideous thing in that cave? Most of all, could that thing be the one manipulating those hybrid creatures and wild beasts?! Only one way to find out after I catch him!’.

My eyes widened after I finished thinking to myself.

"I must be a fool". I muttered after realizing where the shadow had run off to.

My mansion.

Since I told him that I had saved Anders, he must have figured out that Anders was currently in my mansion.

What if?

What if he found Anders and possessed and took control of his body?!

"I can not let that happen!".

’What is it, Clara?’.

"There’s no time to explain, Elektra. But I think that black shadow wants to take possession of Anders’ body!". I hastily replied to her, and after visualizing the particular guest’s room that Anders was in, I said, "Ne-co-tra-il-ga-du".

I disappeared at the speed of a light and arrived exactly inside the guest’s room. I was glad that Anders did not see me appear nor see the dark smoke that surrounded me, since he was asleep. ’Poor kid. After crying a lot and expressing his pain to you, he fell asleep’. Elektra said.

I stopped staring at Anders, who was asleep on the bed when I sensed something coming.

As I turned around, that was exactly when the shadow appeared.

Not really, he did not exactly appear out of thin air. His shadowed body came out of the floor, and, seeing me, he was startled.

He pointed a finger at me but wasn’t able to say anything.

My eyes burn with fury.

"So I was correct. How dare you try to possess and take control of Anders’ body? You know what, I do not care what you are. All I care about is that I am going to destroy you after getting the answers I need". I said.

"Ne-co-tra-il-ga-du". I disappeared to his front and got surprised after I grabbed his hand.

I thought that I wouldn’t be able to touch him, let alone grab him. I thought that my hand would pass through his hand if I tried to grab him, as he was a shadow.

Anyway, since I was able to grab him, I muttered again, "Ne-co-tra-il-ga-du".

I had to teleport both of us away from the guest room, as I did not want Anders to wake up.

In less than 3 seconds, we arrived outside the shadows’ pack restricted forest. And like you guys already know, there are large rocks and a big waterfall there. Also, nothing like those wild predators or hybrid creatures are inside the shadows’ pack restricted forest. Only the normal wild animals that existed before those abominations are in the restricted forest.

I let go of the black shadow’s hand and purposely retreated from him.

"You - you can also use black magic?! How?! Aren’t you supposed to be the chosen child who will bring bright energy to the entire world? Aren’t you supposed to be the child of light?! How come you can use black magic?! Why is your black magic similar to hers!". He quarrelled with me.

"Similar to hers? Who are you talking about?". I demanded an answer from him, but he refused to answer me.

There are so many things that I am confused about. But the most confusion I wanted to clear from my mind had to be answered first.

"Are you the culprit who made that eerily cave appear and exist? And are you the one who did that hideous thing in that cave? Like the killing of those hybrid creatures and framing me by writing those bloody words on the rocky walls. Most especially, are you the one manipulating those hybrid creatures and wild beasts? And are you the cause of the wild beasts’ existence?".
