Mr Bodyguard, Protect Your Heart!-Chapter 183: CREEPY UNCLE

Calix, not knowing what to say just clicked his tongue, and sighed, "What now? You yourself just asked me to give my honest opinion. No need to be so petty over it."

Dante rolled his eyes, with a scoff. This was better as his subordinate only.

And before Dante could even say anything more, he said "Why don’t you consult your problem to Tania. Specially when you already know that you are asking to the wrong person. At least, let those movies of hers, and that obsession of hers for books come to any practical use." Then at least, he would be saved from Dante’s rants and cries about his love life, when Calix did not know what to even tell him as some comfort words.

Hearing his cousin say that, Dante went quite for a couple of minutes, as he remembered his younger cousin, and Calix’s younger sister, Tania Reign. At the first thought, it did not sound like that of a bad idea. But on the second thought, Dante thinking about what would be his cousin’s level of excitement, the former thought dimmed down. Now, he did not feel like it was a good idea at all.

Because, knowing that young woman, if she was even to get a gist of Dante’s love life, then one wouldn’t even be able to bat an eye and the whole family would know about it. And if by any chance, she was able to keep it to herself and not tell anyone in the family for sometime, then she would definitely come over to meet Dove herself. And if even after that, she was able to restrain herself, if she knows about Gavi, then it was over.

And thinking about it, Dante shook his head, having no hope. Calix on the other side, could already guess what kind of silence was carried on the other side of the phone call, having sharing the same thoughts about his sister. And a second later, he heard Dante tsk, and say, "What is the use of having two cousins, when I can’t even rely on such matter on you both?" And without saying anything much he hung up the phone call.

Calix, who was hung up on, stared at the phone, his eyes blinking in surprise. "..."

Dante carelessly tossed away the phone after handing up, and then stared at the ceiling blankly for a couple minutes, before he stretch his hand again, reaching out to his phone again, and opened the gallery.

His phone’s gallery had a separate folder named, "MINE". And it was password protected. Unlocking it, it was filled with Dove’s and Gavi’s picture. Out of which, most of the pictures, seemed to have been taken, when they were not even paying attention. He clicked on a picture of Dove and Gavi, where she was carrying him in her arms. Dante stared at both of them, as a small smile appeared on his face, but then it was soon replaced by an expression of melancholy. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Letting out a slightly shaky breathe, he looked at Dove’s picture, he said in a soft, almost vurnerable tone, while zooming in to Dove’s face, "Dove, did I do something wrong? Why do I feel that something isn’t going right? When, it was all getting nice between us?" He whispered as he traced the screen slowly. But no matter what is it, Dante swore in his mind, that he would not let Dove and Dante go away from his life this time, now that they are in.

The next day rolled in, and with the rising sun, Gavi too stretched his hands and limbs steering awake. There was large and pretty smile plastered on his face, with a satisfied morning look.

"Ahh! What a nice dream was it.." He murmured in a sleepy voice smacking his lips together. His eyes were still not open fully, as he rose up to sit on the bed, and then took his sweet time to rub his eyes, letting the remanent of the sleep go away slowly. He had slept for a long while, and so he woke up fast and refreshed.

Opening his eyes, his gaze fell upon the wall clock, and he found out that he had risen quite early. And looking at that, his eyes brightened up. ’Ah! I am so early today! Nice! Now I will go to Uncle Dante and shock, doesn’t he always tease me for waking up hate! He might not have woken up yet!’ He thought to himself and giggled.

And just when he thought that, and turned his body to the other direction, he let out a yelp in shock, and almost fell off the bed. There on the edge of the bed, sat a big figure, with an unusually grim and straight face today. Gavi’s hand rushed to hold over his chest and he gasped, "Uncle Dante, what are you doing here so early in the morning? It is not even my time to wake up yet!" And yet it seemed that he was already here, waiting for quite some time.

Dante looked at the little boy, who had adorable features and seemed to be shocked. Dante glanced at the wall clock and said like a matter of fact, "I have been waiting for you to wake up?" Gavi blinked his eyes in confusion and said, "Huh? Why?" And then a strange thought crossed his head, ’Don’t tell me, he waits for me everyday like this, near my head, looking for me sleeping! That is so creepy!" And just thinking that, Gavi felt creeps crawling up his spine and he shuddered.

Dante, as if he could clearly read what was going on in the little boy’s mind, he spoke, "I am not here early everyday." And only then did Gavi sigh in relief. "Awh goodness~ Thank God, that Uncle Dante is not the creepy kind of person."

"Then why?" Gavi asked. To which, Dante simply shrugged and said, "I was just wondering, how can someone sleep so much. You have already been sleeping for nearly past ten hours."

"..."

Gavi for a moment was dumbstruck, did not know what to reply. But then he just scoffed and said, "Hah! I am still a kid, and if you don’t know that little babies should need a lot more sleep." And even though, I am a baby, there is still so much on my plate. Gavi thought pitifully to himself.
