Chapter 1066: Chapter 1062: Too Ashamed to Face Anyone

In the outer room of the suite, Titus Zane leaned back in the sofa and lit a cigarette, blowing smoke lazily while watching the suite door. The sounds from inside were still intermittent, and she was not a naive woman; she knew what those sounds meant.

She glanced at her wristwatch to check the time; the flight would leave in just over two hours. She was not someone who wouldn’t take a hint, but her clothes and luggage were in the suite.

She continued to blow smoke in boredom, until the sounds inside the suite ceased, finally letting out a breath before she stood up and checked her wristwatch again. She then waited a few minutes before walking over.

Inside the suite, the man, despite having climaxed, was reluctant to leave. He lay over Beatrice Hargrave, holding an arm tightly around her waist, which made the two of them feel even closer.

As he closed his eyes in short breaths, there came a knock on the door, accompanied by Titus Zane’s voice, "Sorry, my clothes are inside. I need to catch a flight; can I get my clothes and then you can continue?"

"Uncle, Sister Zane..." Beatrice instinctively shrank under the covers, her small face completely hidden beneath Nicholas Croft’s chest.

Nicholas Croft propped himself up, speaking softly, "There, there, you just lie still. Uncle will go open the door."

After he finished speaking, he placed a gentle kiss on Beatrice’s forehead before propping himself up and lifting the thin blanket to get out of bed.

Beatrice pulled the blanket up to cover her face, her eyes moving along with Nicholas’s body. Uncles’s body was still captivating, broad shoulders, a strong waist, narrow hips, robust pectoral muscles, a perfect six-pack, and a seductive v-line leading to that mysterious place...

Nicholas casually put on a pair of suit pants and a shirt, buckled the belt, and then walked over to open the door.

His short hair hung messily at the front of his forehead, his handsome face still flushed with a lingering hue. When he saw Titus Zane, he nodded slightly, "Sorry."

Titus Zane’s European-style eyes held a hint of amused twinkle as she looked Nicholas up and down. Perhaps in his haste, he hadn’t even zipped up his suit pants, and the belt hung loosely at his hips, with the dark shirt half tucked in and half hanging out.

Curving her lips into a smile, Titus stepped past Nicholas into the suite, stood before the wardrobe, and took out her clothes that were yet to be packed. Nicholas stood by the door handle, seemingly waiting for Titus to leave.

As she rolled her suitcase out of the suite, Nicholas suddenly spoke, asking Titus in an indifferent manner, "Does Nathan know you’re leaving?"

Titus paused for a moment, asking confusedly, "Why would he need to know where I’m going?"

Nicholas...

Momentarily taken aback by Titus’s words, Nicholas’s discomfort was evident. Titus glanced at the large bed inside.

Ever since she entered the suite, Beatrice had hidden herself under the covers, refusing to come out. Titus withdrew her gaze with a smile, saying, "I’ll leave the room to you guys, but remember to help me settle the bill."

"I will," Nicholas nodded solemnly, showing no embarrassment at Titus’s straightforward remark.

Titus grinned widely, "Thanks for that." She called out as she left with her suitcase, "Beatrice, Sister Zane is leaving. Aren’t you going to say goodbye?"

"Sister Zane, goodbye," Beatrice’s muffled voice emerged, still hiding under the covers, seemingly too embarrassed to face anyone.

Titus laughed, tossed her brown curly hair, and strode out with her suitcase.
