Chapter 375: Chapter 334: University Scandal Exposed (Part 3)

"Imagine if your girlfriend is seeing several people while dating you, who can tolerate that? No wonder it ended up breaking up."

"I still see people shipping them as a couple, it’s unbearable. Both of them probably find it repulsive. Forcefully sweetening things, these shippers are truly shameless."

This tweet initially didn’t get much attention, it looked like someone’s unrealistic fantasy.

But unexpectedly, Mila Miller actually reposted it with a comment:

"Stop spreading rumors. Best Actor Fairchild and Maeve Lane did have a period during university, but Maeve genuinely loved Fairchild. She chased him for a long time before getting him. Although they separated later for some reasons, they’re not enemies."

Once this comment appeared, Twitter exploded.

"What? Best Actor Fairchild and Maeve Lane actually had a period? No wonder I always felt something was off!"

"Some reasons? Hah, probably because Maeve Lane was cheating. I have a friend who was in the same class as Maeve, she was notoriously unfaithful at school, cheating was no surprise for her!"

"I also have a friend at Aurelia University, same department as Maeve, she said she saw Maeve go to the hospital for an abortion, how filthy!"

"I must say, Maeve Lane does have some background. Her affairs with several men caused quite a stir on Aurelia University’s forum back then. It’s surprising that there was no news after entering the circle, hah, seen through but didn’t speak out."

People started frantically looking for evidence to prove their guesses in Mila Miller’s comment section. Mila seemed anxious, posting several tweets in a row.

"Stop speaking nonsense, Maeve Lane did have many boyfriends, but while she was dating Fairchild, he should have been the only one!"

Immediately, someone sneered:

"Should have? Laughable, isn’t this just confirming the suspicions? Maybe Maeve Lane enjoys being surrounded by men, truly disgusting!"

"Aurelia University raised such a disgrace, truly a shame!"

"My last tweet was too rushed, I didn’t clarify. Maeve and I were in the same department and had a very good relationship back then. Maeve was just a bit playful, and those dozen or so boyfriends weren’t all at the same time. Besides, Fairchild didn’t mind, so you should say less."

"A dozen boyfriends??? And still in university? I’m dizzy, how could Fairchild be attracted to such a worn-out woman, he’s blind!"

"Mila, stop explaining for Maeve Lane, she’s just a fickle woman! You’re kind-hearted, but she doesn’t deserve it!!"

"Maeve Lane, you’re really impressive, letting Mila Miller shield you after causing trouble, huh??"

"I’m nauseated, I’ll never watch any drama of Maeve Lane again!! Cheating, abortion, bullying colleagues! Yet, there are people still stanning her, unbelievable!"

"Fans are just some brainless, disgusting stuff!"

The internet was in uproar.

Maeve Lane’s fans remained silent, they’ve gone through this kind of situation many times already. Until the studio and Maeve herself release a statement, they won’t believe anyone’s words!

Maeve Lane glanced briefly at Mila Miller’s tweet, "Hah, her pretense is quite convincing."

It seemed like she was explaining for her, so rushed that she even made typographical errors, but each tweet was full of loopholes.

It would have been better not to explain, because once she did, all eyes were on her.

Sarah Sutton and Maeve Lane were in a shared room, a double bed, she came in humming a tune. Maeve glanced at her. If Sarah Sutton was pretending nothing had happened to avoid worrying her, then her acting was simply too good.

"Sarah, is your phone out of battery?"

Sarah Sutton looked up, wrapping her head with a towel, and asked with a puzzled tone: "Yeah, why do you ask? My phone ran out of battery on the plane, and the charging cable fell while charging, didn’t charge."

"Oh." Maeve thought, that’s why Sarah Sutton seems so unbothered now.

Sarah looked at her, "What’s wrong?"

"Nothing, let’s turn off the lights early and sleep, I’m a bit tired."

Maeve found an excuse. This matter still needed her personal handling; knowing it wouldn’t change anything for Sarah Sutton.

However, Maeve Lane was surprised to learn that Mila Miller was actually her classmate.

But she didn’t remember her at all.

No wonder Mila Miller asked if she remembered her during the Southern Mountain shoot.

To not affect Maeve’s rest, Sarah Sutton quickly dried her hair and went to bed.

After she fell asleep, Maeve Lane lit up her phone and thought for a moment before sending a message to Miles Hughes.

Miles Hughes got the message and almost dropped his phone.
