Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure-Chapter 503 - 502: Waiting to Be Slapped in the Face
The old master put away the paper and said to Butler Lowell, "See the guests out."
The game was nearly finished, and the old master hadn’t mentioned a word about Ethan Grant dealing with The Sterling Corporation.
He talked about the marriage alliance, and as soon as Ethan signed a document stating he wouldn’t marry the Sterling family’s daughter, the old master told him to leave!
It’s really strange!
Ethan Grant stood up, bid farewell to the old master, when a servant came over to the old master and said, "The eldest young lady is back."
The old master invited Ethan Grant to the West Wing while Serena Sullivan was directly taken to the East Wing.
"Alright, I’ll head over now."
Ethan Grant didn’t mind, lifted his steps towards the main entrance.
There was a car coming in, then it drove towards the east. The windows were closed; he glanced at it but didn’t see who was inside. As the car moved away, a part inside him twinged with pain.
After Ethan Grant left, Wyatt Sterling asked the old master, puzzled, "Grandpa, did you bring Felicity back?"
The old master turned his head to look at Wyatt Sterling, dazed for a long while.
He remembered that when Wyatt was brought home, he was very young.
Such a small child, he and the old lady raised him until he was ten.
So much time has passed, and he could still remember what Wyatt looked like as a child, which really resembled those photos of Serena Sullivan.
Fraternal twins, how could they not look alike!
And now, both siblings are at the Sterling Residence, the old master doesn’t know how to tell them the truth!
"Grandpa, are you talking about uncle’s daughter?"
Wyatt Sterling suddenly thought of the old master finding James Sterling’s illegitimate daughter, and he responded, asking.
"Yes!"
The old master nodded in agreement and said, "Would you like to meet her?"
"Yes!"
Wyatt Sterling replied. He suddenly thought about the marriage alliance the old master discussed with Ethan Grant. Could it be that grandpa was suggesting Ethan marry Serena?
Following the old master to meet her, Wyatt confirmed that the Sterling family’s daughter grandpa referred to wasn’t Felicity Sterling, but Serena Sullivan.
"Why are you here?"
Wyatt Sterling asked in shock.
Serena had been missing for three months, which made him sad for three months. Now, seeing her at the old house, he was really both happy and on the verge of tears.
"Serena, I’ve been looking for you for three months."
Wyatt Sterling said joyfully again, "I didn’t expect you’d be here!"
It really made him incredibly happy.
Serena looked at Wyatt Sterling in front of her, feeling very complicated.
The Wyatt in front of her was her half-brother, no wonder she felt familiar when they first met.
Turning the thought over, since he’s Mr. and Mrs. Sterling’s biological son, her smile faded slightly.
"It was grandpa who saved me."
Serena replied.
"How could you be uncle’s daughter?"
Wyatt Sterling asked in confusion, not understanding why he felt this wasn’t the case.
Serena shouldn’t be uncle’s daughter!
Strangely enough, he wasn’t disappointed that Serena was his cousin.
Is this love for Serena? Or is it not love? The feeling of entanglement nearly drove Wyatt to the brink of collapse.
Anyway, Serena was safe, and that made him happy inside.
"I don’t know how I became your sister either!"
Serena smiled and said.
Seeing Serena, Wyatt Sterling was very happy, and he asked a lot of questions.
For instance, what exactly happened to her? How did she end up in the sea?
For instance, how did the old master save her?
Serena didn’t tell the truth; in her eyes, Young Master Sterling seemed quite naive, and she couldn’t tell him that her troubles were related to his parents.
She just said she wanted to see the sea, fell asleep inexplicably, and when she woke up, she had been washed into the sea.
It just so happened that the old master was on the island recuperating, and that’s how he saved her.
