MTL - Harry Potter and the Badger Who Can’t Magic-Chapter 61 Professor McGonagall's Fury
After getting rid of Malfoy, the winding spiral staircase to the tower seemed to be the easiest walk in the world.
"I'll have to teach Malfoy another lesson when I have time!" Auston said bitterly, carrying the box.
They didn't take off the invisibility cloak until they came under the cold night sky. It's great to finally be able to breathe again.
After putting down Norbert, Hermione danced a quick step dance.
At this moment, it was midnight, and a beautiful brown-haired girl was dancing quietly on the silent rooftop.
Auston sat on a stone monster, folded his arms and smiled, admiring her graceful figure.
Hermione turned around and turned to Auston, she reached out and took his arm, and brought him to the center of the rooftop.
"Please, Hermione, I can't dance."
Hermione, as if she hadn't heard him, took his hand and placed it behind her slender waist.
The other hand clasped his fingers.
Under the night sky, the two danced briskly on the rooftop.
Oops, Hermione's scent rushed into his nose again, which made him a little confused.
Looking at Hermione's blushing face, Auston shook his head, throwing some strange thoughts out of his head.
No, I already have Delphi! He warned himself in his heart.
After the dance, Auston stepped back without a trace, leaving Hermione's warm embrace.
Hermione also pulled up the corners of her skirt and thanked her gracefully, making everything look so beautiful.
Afterwards, they giggled and mocked Malfoy as they waited, and Norbert moved violently in the box. About ten minutes later, four brooms suddenly descended from the darkness.
Charlie's friends are jovial people. They showed Harry and Auston a few ropes they had made improvised so they could hang Norbert between them. They tethered Norbert securely to the rope with all their hands, and then Auston and Harry shook hands with them again and said many words of thanks to them.
Four brooms dragged a large box and flew away gradually.
Finally, Norbert left, and they couldn't relax any longer.
Harry headed down the spiral staircase, and Auston glanced at the Invisibility Cloak still lying on the ground. Gritting his teeth, he followed.
Harry also chatted with Hermione about how hard it was to lead the dragon, and how much fun it was to see Malfoy go bad.
What else could spoil their joy? The answer lies under the stairs.
As soon as they stepped into the corridor on the eighth floor, Filch's face suddenly emerged from the darkness.
Auston silently apologized to Harry and Hermione in his heart.
They followed Filch silently, and Auston saw that Hermione's ruddy face was now pale, and her hands were shaking uncontrollably.
He gently held Hermione's hand, her hand was a little cold because she was nervous or because she was wearing less clothes. Auston secretly tore off his robe and put it on Hermione.
The residual body temperature on the robe eased her nervousness a little, and she looked at Auston gratefully.
Soon Filch led them to Professor McGonagall's study on the second floor.
Professor McGonagall hadn't returned, and Auston guessed she was still dealing with Malfoy.
After a while, Professor McGonagall returned, followed by Neville and a person Auston would never have imagined—Delphi!
Auston's eyes widened in surprise. Just as he was about to ask why she was here, he met Professor McGonagall's murderous gaze, and he immediately retracted his head.
Delphi, on the other hand, stared at Hermione's robe, and the big yellow emblem on the robe stung her eyes. She kept biting her lip and looked at the two of them angrily.
Auston wanted to explain, but he was afraid to speak due to the majesty of Professor McGonagall.
"I've been looking for you," Neville said as soon as he came in. "I wanted to give you a wake-up call. I heard Malfoy say he was coming to catch you. He said you had a dragon..."
Harry waved his hand desperately to keep Neville from going on, but was seen by Professor McGonagall.
Professor McGonagall stood tall in front of them, and seemed more likely to breathe fire than Norbert.
"I can't believe it's you guys. Filch said you went up to the Astronomy Tower. Don't forget it's one o'clock in the morning. Explain it yourself."
This was the first time Hermione couldn't answer the teacher's question. She stared down at her slippers, motionless like a statue.
"I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall," Allston said with a reason he had prepared in his heart, "because we had a deep grudge with Malfoy, we made up a lie to let him know that we were sending one off at the observatory tonight. Dragon. Tried to trick him over and beat him quietly, but I didn't think he was fooled and tricked Spender out." He pretended not to know that Malfoy had been caught.
"Shut up, Mr. Brown! This is the first time you've fought! Your mother was always good and kind when she was in Gryffindor! But look at you, as her son, it's not good Study and like to make trouble! It's a pity that you are not a student of my college~www.novelbuddy.com~ or I will let you pack your things and go home immediately!" Professor McGonagall growled.
Auston lowered his head deeply again.
"I'm outraged," said Professor McGonagall, "that six students don't sleep in one night! I've never heard of such a thing before! You, Miss Granger, I thought you were more sane. As for you, Mr Potter, I thought you took Gryffindor honor very seriously. All five of you are going to be locked up, yes, and you, Mr Longbottom and Miss Spender, whatever it is You have no right to wander around the school in the middle of the night, it is very dangerous, and all of you will be deducted fifty points."
Harry looked up sharply, he had never dropped so many points. Hermione's lips turned white in horror.
Only Auston waited calmly for the next paragraph.
"Everyone! Fifty cents each!" said Professor McGonagall, breathing heavily from her long pointed nose.
Hermione took a step back in disbelief, her feet stepped on Auston's feet, he did not move away, but lightly pressed his body against her to prevent her from falling.
"Professor... please... you can't..."
"You don't have to tell me what I can and can't do, Potter. Well, you all go to bed. I've never felt more blush for Gryffindor students than I do now."
Professor McGonagall asked Filch to bring the three of Gryffindor back to the eighth floor. She took Auston and Delphi to the basement floor by herself, and found their dean respectively.
Snape was very dissatisfied with Professor McGonagall's interruptions twice a night, but seeing that it was Delphi, he said a few words and let her go back.
Before leaving, she gave Auston a deep look. With Professor McGonagall following, Auston never found a chance to explain it to her.
