Multiversal Wanderer: Starting in Naruto-Chapter 46: The God Descending from the Sky
Chapter 46 - 46: The God Descending from the Sky
At Russia's Broken Dome, the Cherno Alpha mecha stood as the country's pride and ultimate weapon. It had already slain six Kaiju, making it one of the PPDC's most successful combat mechas.
Cherno Alpha's massive head, which resembled a huge protective shield, was more than just armor. Its primary function wasn't defense but power generation. The colossal head housed:
Batteries
Gas turbines
Oil depots
Atop the mecha's head was a large cooling fan, resembling a massive lid. During combat, fuel flowed through pipelines into the engine, generating electricity. The power was then divided:
Part of the energy was stored in the battery.
The rest powered the mecha's systems.
Cherno Alpha also had shoulder-mounted flamethrowers that could spray a mix of oil and fire, creating a blazing inferno. Watching the live broadcast of Cherno Alpha in action, Su Xiuyu was reminded of Jiraiya's Toad Oil Flame Bomb—both techniques enhanced firepower by mixing oil with flame, drastically increasing burning temperature and lethality.
Unlike other nuclear-powered mechas, Cherno Alpha's oil-electric hybrid system reduced radiation exposure, which kept its pilots healthier.
Additionally, the massive battery pack granted Cherno Alpha an extended range even after running out of fuel. Originally designed to patrol the Siberian border wall, Cherno Alpha had impressive endurance, making it ideal for long-range missions.
In terms of combat strength, Cherno Alpha was nearly unstoppable:
Armor: 10/10
Power: 10/10
Speed: 3/10
However, its sluggish mobility was its greatest weakness. If surrounded by multiple Kaiju, Cherno Alpha would be helpless, reduced to a sitting duck.

In true Russian fashion, the mecha was built with no lifeboats. If it was cornered, the pilots were expected to fight to the death.

Sasha and Aleksis Kaidanovsky: PPDC's Elite Killers
Sasha and Aleksis Kaidanovsky, a married couple, were the Cherno Alpha pilots. Their strong bond and perfect coordination made them one of the PPDC's top Hunter teams.
Inside the PPDC Command Center, alarms suddenly blared.
"Warning! Warning! Kaiju detected on the seabed! Their projected course is toward Hong Kong!"
The room fell into tense silence.
"How many this time?" the general asked sharply.
The technician's face paled.
"Two, sir. Both are Level 4 Kaiju—codenamed Leatherback and Otachi!"
Without hesitation, the general barked, "Deploy Cherno Alpha and Crimson Typhoon for support!"
Crimson Typhoon, the pride of China, had just returned from its previous mission when the order came. The quadruplet pilots had barely caught their breath.
Before boarding, Wang Tao approached the team. His voice was heavy with concern.
"Don't do anything reckless. Just come back alive," he urged them.
The two mechas were quickly loaded onto carrier planes and transported to Hong Kong's coastline.
As soon as Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha were deployed, Otachi burst from the sea with a vicious sneak attack.
The Kaiju's massive tail slammed into Crimson Typhoon, knocking it off its feet. Before Crimson Typhoon could recover, Leatherback, which had been lying in wait on the seabed, launched from below and smashed Crimson Typhoon back into the ocean.
Cherno Alpha engaged Otachi, but the couple quickly realized they were in trouble. Despite their experience and skill, they struggled to gain the upper hand.
What they didn't know was that Leatherback and Otachi were specifically engineered by the Precursors to counter their mechas.
Suddenly, Otachi's poison sacs swelled, glowing with ominous blue veins. It opened its maw and spewed a stream of highly corrosive acid directly at Cherno Alpha's head.
The acid melted through the armor in seconds, rendering the mecha's control systems useless.
"Alpha's in trouble! Support them now!" the command center frantically radioed.
In a desperate bid to save their comrades, Crimson Typhoon pilots attempted to flank the Kaiju.
But Leatherback, sensing the shift, suddenly abandoned Crimson Typhoon and turned its attention to the larger threat.
Without warning, Leatherback skin began to pulse with a deep orange glow. Within seconds, waves of electromagnetic pulses (EMP) burst from its back.
"EMP attack incoming!" a technician screamed.
But the warning came too late.
The powerful EMP blast instantly paralyzed all nearby electronics, including:
Crimson Typhoon
The PPDC command center's communication systems
The entire battlefield was plunged into chaos.
"General! The EMP has disabled our communications! We've lost contact with Alpha and Crimson Typhoon!" a technician reported, his voice trembling.
The general slammed his fist onto the console in frustration.
"Damn it!" he roared. This was the darkest moment in PPDC history.
"We're completely cut off," the technician added grimly.
"Alpha and Crimson Typhoon are probably done for."
In a desperate move, Raleigh Becket, one of the few remaining pilots, stepped forward.
"General, send me and Mako Mori out there. We're the only ones left who can still fight."
The general shook his head.
"Your drift compatibility is unstable—you'll only make things worse!"
But Raleigh refused to back down.
"General, we don't have time for that! If we wait any longer, they'll die!"
From the corner, Mako Mori nodded with unwavering resolve. Her hatred for the Kaiju was absolute.
"We're going," she declared firmly.
Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Wang Tao and Su Xiuyu were watching the battle unfold from a shelter.
When he saw Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha in danger, Wang Tao's face paled.
The EMP shockwave left the mechas vulnerable. Worse still, the quadruplet pilots were trapped inside Crimson Typhoon—powerless to escape.
Wang Tao turned to Su Xiuyu, his eyes filled with desperation.
"Mr. Su... can you help them?" he pleaded.
"You're the only one who can save them now!"
Su Xiuyu didn't hesitate.
"Of course. I like those four brothers—I'll give you a hand," he replied casually.
Without waiting for a response, he rushed out of the shelter, heading straight toward the Kaiju-infested coastline.
As Cherno Alpha struggled against Otachi, the mecha was barely holding together. Its systems were failing, and the cockpit was flooding with seawater.
Knowing their fate was sealed, Sasha and Aleksis shared one final look.
"Я люблю тебя," Sasha whispered in Russian.
(I love you.)
With his final breath, Aleksis choked out:
"Я тоже тебя люблю."
(I love you, too.)
The sea swallowed them whole, dragging Cherno Alpha to the bottom.
On the surface, Leatherback, filled with primal rage, reared back and roared toward the heavens. The massive Kaiju then slowly lumbered toward the crippled Crimson Typhoon, ready to deliver the killing blow.
But before it could strike, Su Xiuyu appeared—his eyes burning with killing intent.
"Not today."
------
Suddenly, a streak of golden light tore through the dark sky, blazing like heaven's fire. It plunged into the sea, creating a small tsunami that shook the surrounding waters with the force of an undersea earthquake.
On the paralyzed Charge mecha, the two pilots—a father and son duo—stared at the scene in shock.
"What the hell is that? Another Kaiju? It's way too massive," the father muttered.
The son squinted through the haze of seawater and shook his head.
"Dad, look closer. That's not a Kaiju—it's nothing like them. It's more like one of China alien superpowers, but the color's different from what we've seen before."
The two men, having climbed onto the top of the Charge to escape the flooding cockpit, were bracing themselves for certain death. Yet, against all odds, hope came from the sky.
As the colossal figure emerged from the sea spray, they were struck by its sheer size.
"This thing is terrifying," the son whispered in awe.
"Our mechas... they're not even as tall as its waist."
Watching the godlike figure rise from the sea, the pilots felt a strange sense of awe. The fear of death was momentarily replaced by a sense of wonder—as though they were witnessing a mythical battle.
Su Xiuyu made his grand entrance in a massive, golden Susanoo, which resembled a divine Gundam. With ease and grace, he descended upon the battlefield, his chakra construct shimmering with power.
Without hesitation, he reached into the ocean, grabbing both Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha and dragging them from the depths.
"How are the pilots?" Su Xiuyu asked, his voice calm but commanding.
"Are they still alive?"
The quadruplets piloting Crimson Typhoon were luckier—though their mecha had been submerged, their cockpit remained sealed, preventing water from flooding in. However, they were dazed and weakened, barely able to move.
The Cherno Alpha couple, on the other hand, were in critical condition. After nearly drowning in the flooded cockpit, they had swallowed mouthfuls of seawater and were barely clinging to life.
As Su Xiuyu saved them, Sasha and Aleksis Kaidanovsky stared at him in disbelief. To them, he was no longer a man—he was a god descending from the heavens.
In their hearts, they silently pledged their eternal devotion to him. It didn't matter if he knew their names or remembered their faces—to them, he was their savior.
But Su Xiuyu had no idea of their reverence. Even if he did, he wouldn't have cared. To him, rescuing them was nothing more than a casual favor.
The Leatherback, once an overwhelming threat, suddenly seemed insignificant in comparison to the towering Susanoo. Its massive frame, which once dwarfed the mechas, now looked pathetically small beside the golden giant.
However, the Kaiju, driven by its instincts, showed no fear. It lunged forward, aiming to pounce on Susanoo.
Without flinching, Su Xiuyu slapped it aside with a casual wave of his arm, sending the Kaiju tumbling into the sea.
Then, with a glimmer from his Sharingan, he unleashed a powerful genjutsu, casting an illusion over the Leatherback. The Kaiju froze, its mind ensnared by the Uchiha's power.
When it stood up again, it remained motionless, completely under Su Xiuyu's control.
The pilots of the three mechas—Charge, Storm Red, and Cherno Alpha—watched the scene with stunned disbelief.
Though they had heard rumors from the PPDC about powers with humanoid aliens fighting alongside them, they had never imagined anything like this.
They had expected massive humanoid constructs—but nothing this colossal or godlike. The sheer ease with which Su Xiuyu subdued the Kaiju with a single blow made their own mechas feel like child's toys in comparison.
In the PPDC command center, the entire battle was being broadcast live. For a moment, the room was filled with stunned silence.
Then, the room erupted into cheers.
"General! They're saved!" a technician shouted.
"Crimson Typhoon, Cherno Alpha, and Charge—they're all safe!"
The operators in the control room clapped and cheered, their relief palpable.
"He... he did it in one move!" another technician exclaimed.
"The Kaiju was defeated instantly! How the hell did he do that?"
But while the others celebrated, the general remained silent, his gaze locked on the screen.
"General," a technician called out, his voice tense.
"Otachi is heading toward Hong Kong! Should we send reinforcements? The golden giant won't be able to keep up with him, right?"
Before the general could answer, Su Xiuyu's Susanoo suddenly unfurled its massive wings.
The golden construct blotted out the sky, its wingspan enormous. With a single flap, Susanoo took to the air, creating a violent gale that nearly knocked the mechas over.
The general's eyes widened in disbelief.
"He's... he's flying?"
The technicians scrambled to track the giant's movement.
"General! He's already exceeding Mach 3!" one of them stammered.
The doctor watching the display muttered in awe,
"For something that size to reach Mach 3... that's... insane."
But before anyone could process the information, the technician's voice grew even more frantic.
"General! He's accelerating! His speed just passed Mach 10!"
The general's fists clenched as he stared at the golden blur streaking across the screen.
"Mach 10..." he whispered.
"Nothing in our arsenal—not even cruise missiles—can match that speed."
A bead of sweat rolled down the doctor's temple.
"We can only be grateful... that he's not our enemy," he muttered grimly.
Within moments, Su Xiuyu caught up with Otachi mid-flight. He grabbed the Kaiju by the neck and effortlessly dragged it back toward the battlefield.
Reaching the coastline, he flung the Kaiju into the sea with a massive splash. The moment it surfaced, he locked eyes with it and cast another genjutsu, freezing it in place.
With both Kaiju now immobilized, the entire battlefield fell into an eerie silence. The once-relentless Kaiju invasion was reduced to puppets, controlled by a single man.
From the distance, the mecha finally arrived. The pilots gazed at the battlefield, dumbfounded.
"...Are we... late?" one of them asked in disbelief.
"Yeah... it's already over," the other muttered.
As the PPDC helicopters arrived to extract the mechas, the remaining crew was still processing what they had just witnessed.
Back at the China base, Wang Tao eagerly awaited Su Xiuyu's return. Having seen the entire battle through the live broadcast, he was utterly speechless.
The golden Susanoo, in his eyes, was even more terrifying than the legendary Uchiha Madara's. Wang Tao was now certain:
"Madara's Susanoo... could definitely fly too," he muttered in awe.
When Su Xiuyu landed, the wind from Susanoo's wings blasted across the training grounds, toppling vehicles and sending debris flying.
As he dismissed his Susanoo, Su Xiuyu scratched his head sheepishly.
"Ah... sorry about the mess," he said with a polite smile.
"I tried to control the landing, but... it still got a little messy."
Wang Tao waved him off, laughing.
"Don't worry about it! No big deal—we'll just clean it up!"
After all, what was a little mess compared to witnessing a god in battle?
