A sphere of Lighting Technique rose into the air, its orange-yellow glow dispelling the darkness.

In the coarse bark of the Divine Wood, two elves lay unconscious, wedged between the cracks in the tree.

Both were familiar to Ilo: his disciple Seldan, who he left at the entrance to guard, and the previously missing Ark organization’s advanced member Peragel.

The two were covered in wounds, as if subjected to brutal torture, gravely injured and barely clinging to life.

The opponent hadn’t directly killed them or used them as hostages, instead displaying them before him, evidently intending to make a point.

He threw a large Fireball Technique towards them, attempting to destroy the strange hybrid demon, only to be blocked by the Puki’s collective Magic Shields.
