MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM-Chapter 195: Another Upgrade
Another Upgrade
"What is happening?" Within the fortress under Kim's protection, the female Djinn asked her commander as the two of them watched everyone in the Genesis Corps move around like a hive of worker bees, and while no one said anything, there was a deep sense of excitement that seemed to electrify their air.
"Hard to say." The commander sighed. If one looked closely, they'd see that his body was a little unstable. This is because he'd been on the receiving end of the vile scream the Warden released that reverberated throughout the realm. He survived, but the damage was real.
He was taking this time to recover within the fortress, Eidrasil's presence serving to be of great help.
He would be lying if he said he wasn't stunned by just how well-equipped the members of the Genesis Corps were.
For starters, their fortress could only be described as a massive artifact. The sheer number of features it possessed was hard to grasp within a short amount of time. Moreover, it was made of materials he'd never seen before, and he strongly doubted it needed the barrier that surrounded it at all times.
The weapons that were fitted to it also amazed him. The Railguns, artillery, machine guns, and so on, carried an incredible amount of power, and he noticed that they weren't being used at their maximum capacity. Something told him that if they were, even he would be threatened.
He was also impressed by how the place was structured and how it seemed to cater to the needs of all the various races that made up the forces without compromising on anything.
What caught his attention though, was the portal. From what he heard, it allowed them to transport things from other fortresses. The idea that there was more than one of these fortresses caught him off guard. He wondered just what sort of backer they had to be able to produce fortresses of such high quality.
What's more, was the armor the soldiers wore. Besides its aesthetics, the armor was truly impressive.
It was difficult for anyone below the god or grey rank to endure the cold, yet everyone within the base regardless of their rank could brave it with no problem. Moreover, the durability of the armor was nothing to scoff at. He'd seen some of the soldiers enduring attacks that should have killed them without a scratch or with only minor injuries.
Then there was their cohesiveness as a single unit. They were so organized that it made him compare them with his soldiers and he could only feel disappointment. Orders were given out and carried out with scary efficiency and everyone had a calm and level-headed response to whatever hardship came their way. It was incredible, to say the least.
However, today was the first time he'd seen their composure break, and he was infinitely curious as to what got them so excited.
He didn't know that he'd stop being an outsider shortly.

Christopher stabilized his condition and sighed. He didn't need to do such a thing, but it felt right, so he went along with it.
'Let's get started.' With that thought, he spoke.
"System, begin the enhancement." Immediately after he gave the command, he remotely transported everyone and everything that was native to the Primordial Expanse back to it.
A moment later, a wave of harrowing pain struck him. But at this point, Christopher was already used to it. So while it was definitely distracting, he could still move around somewhat.
He looked up to see the same orb of multicolored light from before appear high in the center of the Dimension. The orb was releasing pulses of this same light that bathed everything and made them all undergo an evolution.
This time, Christopher decided to pay attention to the changes his body was undergoing, and they were certainly a lot.
From an outside perspective, it would look like his body was undergoing some indescribable changes.
His lean but firm muscles became even firmer and exponentially denser than before, his skin which already seemed perfect somehow transcended that and had a faint alluring glow around it. He couldn't see it, but his eyes were also changing as the various 'visions' He had briefly manifested as different pupils that were smaller than his main pupil and surrounded it. Each one going through changes as well.
His hair seemed to become even more silky and perfect, but not overwhelmingly so.
On the inside though, the changes were far more apparent. Every single cell within his body was going through an incredible change as everything about him was enhanced. His muscles became significantly tougher and denser, yet their flexibility also increased.
His bone marrow also underwent a qualitative change as the blood they produced had become utterly exquisite. All his organs were strengthened as well as his nerves and bodily functions, increasing his survivability along with his response and reaction speed massively.
Every aspect of him was undergoing a massive change, and it wasn't just the physical aspects.
His soul which could be described as multiple stars before seemed to have turned into a radiant galaxy, its strength being something that couldn't be quantified using ordinary means.
Beyond that, however, was his authority.
Authority was a strange concept to imagine.
It transcended conventional energy manipulation and wasn't something that could be quantified like "strength".
It doesn't manipulate reality through force. Instead, it restructures its laws based on the preference of the one imposing their authority in the first place.
In essence, it isn't a power or a tool. It's a statement, one that reality must acknowledge.
Moreover, it's not something that could just be "obtained". One needed to perform an act worthy of being recognized by existence itself to be granted authority.
Additionally, most people didn't know this, but authority had tiers. However, these tiers weren't public in most civilizations. However, scholars, sages, diviners, and powerful oracles have managed to loosely categorize them through observation.
Lesser Authority

High Authority
Absolute Authority
Primordial Authority.
Christopher as. Primordial Arbiter belonged to the final tier.
However, the term was the most popular when it came to Arbiters. As such, for the masses, if someone spoke of an Arbiter, they'd automatically assume they were referring to a Primordial Arbiter. Not because they understood the true significance of that distinction, but because that's the only one they knew.
This applied to the Scions as well, they kept calling Christopher a Primordial Arbiter not knowing that not only was that the true distinction he was under, but it was also the highest.
The trauma each of them has related to Arbiters was inflicted by an Arbiter of a lower stage than Christopher.
Authority had three stages. Command, Recognition, and Imposition. Even if someone is stronger in raw force, if their existence lacks the level of authority to oppose or nullify the command, they are bound by it.
Christopher's act of harmonizing Creation and Void energy was something almost never seen, so the distinction was earned.
However, if Christopher was at the highest stage an Arbiter can achieve, what could the system enhance?
Well, that's where the PSP came in.
But even then, it wasn't so easy to surpass something that was considered the peak. As such, instead of that, Christopher's Authority was undergoing a mutation.
But that would be for when the enhancement was completed.
As for the rest of the Primordial Expanse, the changes weren't any less staggering.
Edenveil, Nihilheim, and Glacera were suddenly growing larger by a lot, and the moon in the center, if it could even be called that anymore, was also growing exponentially.
The space that made up the place was also being strengthened to a ridiculous level. If someone who wasn't a native of the Dimension tried to use any space-related abilities here, it was doubtful whether they would even be able to make it ripple.
The gravity also increased as well as all the other runes and laws that made up the place.
Every structure, lifeform, landscape and so on underwent miraculous changes. Moreover, something interesting happened with the Haven of the Enlightened.
Besides getting larger and better, the land it was on which was Sinestra's true body suddenly detached from the ground and floated up until it was miles above the ground, turning into a floating continent.
Eidrasil also changed as her trunk became as thick as several continents slapped together and her canopy was so wide it covered a large portion of Edenveil, yet that large portion wasn't even ten percent as Edenveil had become truly massive, easily dwarfing the Solar system in size. And it was just one of the three other celestial bodies within the Primordial Expanse.
Nihilheim looked exactly the same besides growing larger. But the Void Creatures that roamed its surface could only be described as horrifying.
Something similar happened with all the beasts on Glacera as they became significantly more powerful than before.
A lot of time seemed to pass. But at the same time, it felt so quick.
