The sea breeze blew the black crow feathers out to the sea, where they spun and landed on the surface.

After a while, as Cezar stepped into the car restaurant, he suddenly raised his eyebrows slightly.

"Whoa, is it you guys again?"

He looked up, and saw several familiar figures seated inside the restaurant—a girl in a reddish brown kimono, a boy in overalls, and a young man in a purple English-style suit. Clearly, they were members of the White Crow Travel Brigade.

"Isn't this little Cezar?" Anluns turned his head and asked with a smile.

"The Prince is here, slot machine boy, aren't you going to kneel and bow?" Hacker said, resting his chin in his hand and gently nibbling on a roasted pig hock, then patted Anluns' shoulder.

The kimono girl had no reaction to Cezar's arrival; she kept her head down the entire time, quietly staring at the table, her expression indifferent, eyes vacant.

"We came for food." Cezar said.

"You've come to the right place; the food here is not bad." Anluns said casually.

"With your assurance, I'm relieved, Mr. Gambler... oh, I mean, Mr. Anluns."

Cezar quickly sat across from them, picked up a menu, flipping through it. Soon, he chose what he wanted to eat: he ordered a Wellington steak for himself and packed a roast pig hock with roasted sausages for Yaguba.

If it's not enough for it, he could order takeout for an extra meal once back at the inn, otherwise, it would be too conspicuous.

Cezar looked up, communicating with the waiter in English, and only after the waiter left did he suddenly freeze, lowering his head to look at his pocket.

It was then that he noticed Yaguba didn't have any reaction—normally, every time he ordered, Yaguba would poke its head out, pointing at the menu with its fin, saying it wanted this and that, wanting to eat everything.

But this time, the little shark in his pocket was silent as if it had died.

"Yaguba, are you okay?"

He looked worriedly at the little shark in his pocket.

The little shark poked half its head out of the pocket, staring fixedly at the kimono girl sitting across the table.

Cezar had never seen such a calm and serene expression on Yaguba's face, as if it were a different shark, prompting him to poke the shark's head as if performing an exorcism to drive out any bad spirits from it.

After a while, he sighed, and together with Yaguba, raised their eyes to look at the kimono girl across the table.

But Ayase Origami seemed completely unaware of their gaze and had been staring at the table for a long time without any movement.

"Why aren't you happy?" After a short while, the little shark suddenly asked.

In the midst of silence, the kimono girl didn't respond.

"That's not good, Yaguba. She clearly has something on her mind, don't disturb her."

Cezar persuaded, as he took over the fries brought by the waiter and placed them on the table, meanwhile using his other hand to tuck Yaguba's head back into the pocket.

But the little shark poked its head out again, staring at the kimono girl and asked:

"Shasha is asking you, why aren't you happy?"

This time, the kimono girl finally had a reaction. She looked up, her vacant eyes meeting with the little shark's.

In the silent moment, the person and the shark stared at each other for a while.

Eventually, it was the little shark that first averted its gaze.

Being stared at so directly, the little shark became slightly tongue-tied, "According to Shasha's shark life's experience, every animal in the world will die—humans included; so whether you spend a day happy or a day sad, you're still spending that day."

It paused, lowering its head, "Life is short, so why not be a little happier."

The kimono girl quietly stared at it for a while, then silently withdrew her gaze, continued to stare blankly at the table.

"Hacker, what's wrong with Miss Ayase?"

Cezar asked softly to Hacker sitting beside him, chewing on a fry dipped in ketchup.

"She broke up." Hacker said, "What else could it be?"

"Broken up?" Cezar was stunned; the term was somewhat unfamiliar to him.

"Yes, we've all been betrayed." Anluns clutched his chest, striking a theatrical pose, "It was a painful experience; Xia Pingzhou broke all our hearts. In other words, we all broke up."

"Oh wow, Xia Pingzhou is such a jerk!" Cezar said semi-understandingly, angrily biting into a fry, "Did he actually make all of you break up?"

Suddenly he thought of something, quickly adding, "Even though my father is also bad with relationships, having a mistress—well, I'm actually the child of the mistress, that's why the Empress dislikes me so much." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

He paused, frowning, speaking earnestly, "But my father only had my mother as a mistress! However, everyone in the brigade is Xia Pingzhou's mistress, isn't he too much of a playboy! No wonder Miss Ayase is upset!"

The little shark rolled its eyes.

"Right, right?" Anluns shrugged.

"Mm hm, no wonder you all want to kill him, now I want to kill him too." Cezar said with a fry in his mouth.

Hacker sighed with a hand on the forehead, "Kids shouldn't talk about feelings."

"Aren't you a kid too?" The little shark retorted.

"Please, I trained under the cat love saint, I'm different from my peers." Hacker said, "I'm a love expert now, don't underestimate me, Don't call."
