My Evil Boy Toy-Chapter 274: Day One
Chapter 274: Day One
Jayden POV
I let them tie me up and put a blindfold on me. I didn’t try to resist when they grabbed me to stand up from the couch.
"Ugh!" I screamed when someone suddenly punched me in the stomach.
"What was that for?" I heard someone ask the one who punched me.
"Nothing. I don’t like him." The man answered.
"Boss didn’t tell you to hurt him yet. Be patient. You will have a lot of time to play with him." The other one said.
"Fine! But I will be the first one to torture him!"
I was supposed to feel scared, but I wasn’t. I wanted to do this and I was glad that my plan was already beginning. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
I was hoping that someone would knock me off when they took me inside a vehicle. But they didn’t. Then I felt someone follow me inside and sat across from me.
"So Jayden, how’s my daughter?" Benjamin asked.
I frowned. "You don’t the right to call her your daughter. You’re a crazy murderer who had nothing to do but messed up the lives of the people I love."
Benjamin laughed. "I’m a murderer, you said? And how about your family? The Castello Clan. Your father-in-law, Matthew Forelli. They were all from the Mafia clan. We kill people. That’s what we do."
"Do not compare them to you. They’re not as evil as you." I said with gritted teeth.
I heard a clanging noise like a sound from a glass. Then the sound of a liquid being poured into it.
"Wine?" He asked.
I didn’t answer. I was trying to feel the movement of the car and listen to the surroundings. I was hoping to guess the road we took to know where we were going.
"Did you know that I was truly in love with Catherine? I did everything for her but in the end, she still cheated on me and worst, she had two children with two different men."
I chuckled. "How could you say that it was cheating when you’re not even married?"
I heard no response from him so I continued. "Are you surprised that I knew about your marriage? You couldn’t register your marriage certificate because you’re using a fake identity. You tried to submit a false document but the registry was not convinced so they asked for more. You couldn’t risk being caught and in the end, you never registered your marriage."
"We were living together for years and acted like a married couple. So she cheated on me!" He insisted.
"You lived together, yes. But did she treat you like a husband? I don’t think so. You just assume that you were husband and wife."
Slap! Ah, that hurt. At least it was a slap, not a punch.
"I don’t want to hurt you, Jayden. You are still Peggy’s husband."
I smirked. "Why? Do you consider her your daughter?"
"She is my daughter." He answered.
I laughed. "You still have the guts to call her yours after killing our child."
"Sometimes sacrifices are necessary to achieve your goals."
"You’re sick!"
Then I heard him chuckle.
"Jayden, you have not seen everything yet. You don’t know what I’m capable of."
His tone was cold and I knew that he never even once regret anything he had done.
As the vehicle continued to move, I knew exactly where we were. From the route that we took, we were on the way to Creepy Willow.
It was the place where Luke, Alora, Percy and Sophie were taken. When they were kids, the four of them were abducted by the Santelmo Clan. It was in a secluded area, a part of Willow Green where no one was allowed to enter.
Thirty years ago, Creepy Willow was one of the busiest areas in Willow Green. There was a huge nuclear power plant owned by the government with around five thousand employees, but a massive explosion forced the people who lived there to evacuate and leave their homes.
Everyone thought that it was abandoned and no one lived there anymore. But now that I knew where we were going, I concluded that the Trekker Clan was hiding in there.
It was the best place to hide because no one would suspect that a group of notorious criminals would live there. It was off-limits to everyone, forbidden by the government and anyone who would dare to enter would be severely punished. The citizens of Willow Green were afraid because they thought it was haunted so eventually, it was called Creepy Willow.
As our movement became bumpy and rough, I knew we were already inside the area. A few minutes passed, and the vehicle stopped. When the door opened, I heard some laughter outside and the smell of gunpowder lingered in my nose.
I should be scared, I knew that. But I was also curious why I could not feel any fear toward the men who took me. I knew I could be killed at any moment, but I didn’t feel worried at all.
Someone grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the vehicle.
"Take him to the cabin." Jonathan said.
Then I was taken and pushed by another inside a cold and dark room.
"Who would take care of this one?"
"I think the boss would."
"Let’s see how long this man would last."
I sat down, leaning my back on the wall when I was left inside still tied up and blindfolded.
Day one, I thought to myself. I would be counting the days with these people. And would remember every pain they would inflict upon me.
I would never forget the things they would do to me. I would prove to them that nothing could break me anymore.
I would stay alive until I had a chance to escape. For my mother who was murdered by these people, for taking away Mireya from us, for Caden and for making Peggy cry, I’ll make sure that they would pay for their crimes.
