My Ex-Wife Disappeared for Years and Had My Babies-Chapter 131 - 102 Su Nian, Why Are You Being So Dramatic?
Chapter 131: Chapter 102 Su Nian, Why Are You Being So Dramatic?
Su Nian felt it was truly impossible to communicate with him, and she couldn’t understand why he was so persistently entangled with her.
Without waiting for Su Nian to respond, he stood up and said, “After Friday, I’ll be going on a business trip the following day. It won’t be long, about a day or two. Call me if you need anything.”
Su Nian remained silent, and Shen Hanxiu didn’t linger, leaving her office immediately.
Wei Lan, who was eavesdropping by the door, pretended she had just arrived and respectfully saw Shen Hanxiu out, then gave Su Nian a thumbs up: “Sister Niannian, I never dared imagine someone could treat Mr. Shen the way you do.”
Su Nian glared at her, “Get back to work!”
Wei Lan stuck out her tongue, murmuring, “Sister Niannian, are you on your period? You’re so temperamental.”
At Su Nian’s stern look, she quieted down.
Now, everyone in the company knew her. They acted around her like they did around Shen Hanxiu; the atmosphere chilled inexplicably when she was around, and some even called her the CEO’s wife when they bumped into her!
Su Nian didn’t bother with these matters. She wasn’t as capable as Shen Hanxiu at changing so many people’s opinions. It didn’t matter what others said now, as long as she and Shen Hanxiu understood in their hearts that they couldn’t be together.
Come Friday, Shen Hanxiu arrived as promised to pick her up, but Su Nian naturally refused to go.
“Just take the children back to see mom.”
Su Nian yelled at him in annoyance, “If you want to take the children to see your mom, go have them yourself!”
Shen Hanxiu followed her to her little Audi, murmuring as if talking to himself, “What’s with the pretense, Su Nian?”

Pretense my ass! The one being unreasonable was obviously him, and he was accusing her of being pretentious?
He got into the car, glanced at Su Nian, who was keeping a straight face, then took out his phone, “I won’t be able to return tonight… Yes, I know my own business, let’s leave it at that.”
Su Nian guessed he was calling Deng Tonglian, surprised he was so casually blowing off his own mother.
Seeing him compromise and not insisting on dragging her to the Shen Family mansion, Su Nian also breathed a sigh of relief.
She had wanted to drop him off on the side of the road, but he remained seated, saying he wanted to see the children before his trip.
Unable to outlast him, Su Nian drove home.
This time he behaved himself; once the children were asleep, he left immediately.
She overheard him on a call; it seemed he had a night flight. When he left, he didn’t forget to tell her to call him if she needed anything.
Su Nian didn’t say anything, her expression remained firm, not giving him a good face. But deep down, she felt something shift in her heart, a thing she didn’t want to delve into, and she fell asleep under the covers.
The next day, she went with Wei Lan and Qiuqiu to Ziyan’s flower shop again.
Four women hit the streets together for a shopping spree.
They shopped until evening, and when it was time to pick up the children, Su Nian left first. Soon after, Qiuqiu was picked up by Tang Ge, and Wei Lan also received a call from Jing Zan saying she had to leave.
After a day of fun, everyone went home with their bounties.
Ziyan visited her flower shop before returning home.
It had been a tiring day; she took a hot shower and rested.
She had gotten used to a solitary life, the quietness of it, and quickly fell asleep in the desolate night.
Unsure of the hour, she faintly heard some noise, and the rustling sounds of a man and a woman talking, as if right outside her door.
Ziyan woke up and listened quietly, hearing a loud door closing. It was very noticeable in the night silence, confirming that indeed someone had entered.
The only person who would enter her apartment, besides herself, was her nominal husband, Tang Shaosheng.
She checked the time on her phone; it was two in the morning. What was he doing here so late?
With her curiosity piqued, Ziyan threw off the covers, put on her slippers, and hurriedly opened the door.
A delicate female voice immediately rang in her ears: “Young Master Tang, slow down~”
Looking up, she saw a scantily dressed, voluptuous woman clinging to Tang Shaosheng’s arm, walking into the house.
The sound of Ziyan opening the door also drew the attention of the woman, who looked at Ziyan displeased, her sultry smile fading, “Who are you?! What are you doing in Young Master Tang’s house?”
Ziyan was completely stunned. This wasn’t the first time she had seen Tang Shaosheng intimately involved with another woman. Right after they got married, it was common to find him affectionate with another woman in their bridal chamber, even entangled with a woman in bed, while she curled up alone in the dark living room couch.
Without love, she didn’t feel extremely sad about her husband’s brazen infidelity right in front of her.
Even now she didn’t feel heartache, just a bit sour.
She had already moved out of his house, but he still didn’t forget to bring a woman here to humiliate her.
Tang Shaosheng looked like he was drunk, but still stood tall and straight, the woman’s voice made him notice Ziyan at the door, his eyes hazy with drunkenness.
The woman, holding Tang Shaosheng’s arm and looking arrogantly at Ziyan, repeated, “I asked who you are? You think you can just walk into Young Master Tang’s place? Now scram!”
No one noticed, with those words, Tang Shaosheng’s brows unpleasantly furrowed.
Ziyan raised her hand, about to gesture “This is my home,” when the woman began to mock, “Turns out to be mute, a disabled person even…”
“Scram.” Before the woman could finish, she heard Tang Shaosheng coldly spit out that one word.
Both the woman and Ziyan were startled. Then, Ziyan immediately stepped back, ready to return to her room and close the door.
Ziyan thought it was her appearance that had disrupted their intimate moment, so he had ordered her to scram…
Watching Ziyan tactfully turn around, the woman’s lips curled into a provocative smile.
But as soon as Ziyan turned, Tang Shaosheng pulled his hand away from the woman’s, stepped forward, grabbed Ziyan, and then repeated with quite the impatience, “Scram.”
The woman blinked in shock, then turned to look at Tang Shaosheng with pitiful, teary eyes, “Young Master Tang…”
With a fierce glance from Tang Shaosheng, the woman pouted her red lips, glared at Ziyan, and unwillingly left, clacking away in her high-heels.
Ziyan watched Tang Shaosheng with a calm expression, then pulled her hand free.
Her motions were calm, but her heart was somewhat fearful.
Yet, the fear arrived nonetheless.
His kiss, carrying a strong scent of alcohol, swept over her…
Pushing her, Ziyan fell onto the bed…
His possession of her never involved foreplay, but this time he suddenly stopped, stretching his arm over her head, and from the inside of his jacket on the bedside, he fished out an item.
A condom.
She remembered, back when they first got married, she had mentioned to him to wear a condom, but he refused with a comment about not liking it, and after that, it was always her who took birth control pills. What happened to him today?
Was it because he was so drunk that he wasn’t lucid?
Perhaps it was this small change in him that made the pain Ziyan felt seem to lessen. He had never been considerate to her, and she never expected him to be…
After their lovemaking, he got up and got dressed. Ziyan supported her tired and aching body, straightened her nightgown, thinking he would leave after getting dressed.
While buttoning up his shirt, Tang Shaosheng turned and said to Ziyan, “Call Su Nian.”
Ziyan was taken aback, looking back at him, perplexed. She knew of his fondness for Su Nian.
Although there were many different women by his side, changing several within a day, when he was drunk and not lucid, he would always call out Su Nian’s name.
But in Ziyan’s memory, the relationship between Su Nian and him was not deep, she even despised him, otherwise, she would not have fled his wedding.
Ziyan didn’t want to drag Su Nian into this mess. Now that her life was going well, she didn’t want to make it as chaotic as her own, so after a moment of stunned silence, she ignored Tang Shaosheng’s request.
Watching the frail back of Ziyan as she arranged her clothes, Tang Shaosheng’s eyes held a faint trace of pity, but in the night, no one noticed, not even he himself.
“Call Su Nian, let her come over,” he repeated.
Ziyan still did not respond, even pulling the blanket over and lying down with her back to him.
This woman seemed soft and frail, but Tang Shaosheng knew her stubbornness deep down; she just couldn’t speak now, otherwise, she would have quarreled with him countless times already.
Being ignored inflamed Tang Shaosheng’s fury even more. He walked over, yanked off the blanket, and the woman in bed immediately coiled up.
Tang Shaosheng grabbed the collar of her garment and lifted her entire body from the bed. When he saw Ziyan’s unflinching gaze, an inexplicable rage filled him. Even without uttering a word, he could feel the resentment towards him in her eyes.
He wanted to see her proud self crying and begging for mercy.
He pulled her off the bed without any hint of compassion and violently threw her to the ground…
Looking down with superiority at her struggling to support herself, he said coldly, “Call Su Nian.”
Ziyan braced herself up, head bowed, sitting on the ground. Before she could even stand up, she felt a pain in her back and once again stumbled to the floor.
“Will you make the call?”
Neither seeing her nod nor shed a single tear, Tang Shaosheng felt frustrated.
Actually, he could make the call himself, but he just wanted to see her submit.
Even now, her gaze, in the darkness, revealed her resentment and her resolve to sever ties, making him inadvertently think that if she still had the strength, she might just end it all together with him.
Watching her struggle to stand up, slowly raising her hand to wipe the blood from the corner of her mouth.
Tang Shaosheng placed one hand around her neck, pressing her against the wall as he stepped backward, crashing into a half-body vase in the corner, shattering it with a crash.
Stump fragments, broken ceramics mixed with soil scattered all over the place.
As branches tugged at the thin wire above and seeing the wooden hanging shelf with five or six flower pots seemingly about to fall, Tang Shaosheng swiftly let go of her to try and stabilize the hanging shelf…
But the moment he released his grip, Ziyan collapsed onto the floor, among the pile of broken porcelain…
