My Love Debts Are Everywhere!-Chapter 541: The Crystal Ball of Life
"Why do you look dazed, Leon? Are you worried about your departure in two days?"
Inside the room, Athena walked over to Leon, who was standing casually on the balcony railing, and hugged him from behind.
Leon, gazing up at the beautiful night sky, let out a soft chuckle and nodded lightly.
"Yes, I'm a little anxious," he admitted honestly. Turning around to return Athena's embrace, he breathed in her familiar scent and felt the warmth of her body. "I don't know what might happen out there. The hidden races could turn against me and spark a conflict. After all, they've stayed in hiding for 7,000 years—no one truly knows what they've been holding in their hearts."
It wasn't a possibility to be taken lightly. Their retreat into hiding had been forced by none other than the Hero Luminus Troya and the Demon Emperor Amon Crimson.
In other words, it had been done under pressure. And over time, that pressure could easily turn into resentment—resentment that might have been passed down through the generations.
And who would bear the brunt of that hatred now? Of course—him.
Athena fell silent at his words, her expression slowly turning serious as she fixed Leon with a stern gaze.
"It's alright, Leon. Even if they show hostility, I know you can handle it," she said confidently. "But if they continue to resist, don't blame me if I wipe them out."
Her tone grew cold, laced with murderous intent. Athena could tolerate the hidden races—as long as they didn't do anything extreme to the man she loved.
But if they crossed the line... well, she would show them what happened when they didn't know better.
Leon's goosebumps rose at her words. His expression tightened, and his body stiffened.
"Ahem! Your words are a bit harsh, Athena. If you do that, won't we lose their help against the Evil God later?" Leon smiled wryly, massaging his temples.
Athena rolled her eyes, responding, "It's better than letting them live. After all, there's no point in asking for help from those who are clearly against you. Plus, they might even side with the Evil God in the future. Exterminating them is the safest option."
Leon fell silent, lost in thought. He didn't fully dismiss Athena's words, as most of them made sense.

But slaughtering them all felt wrong. If that happened, how were they any different from the Evil God, who had taken millions of lives in the past?
He was the Fated One—the one chosen to lead the world into a new era. While Athena had valid reasons, he couldn't fully justify such actions.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Leon rested his chin on Athena's head and spoke softly, "Alright, let's forget about that. By the way, you'll come with me later, right?"
Athena frowned and shook her head lightly.
"Sorry, Leon. I can't come with you," she replied, her voice tinged with sadness. "The workload at the Dragon Palace has piled up, and I need to take care of it. Plus, the cooperation I promised with Arshley has to begin immediately so we can prepare for the Evil God's arrival."
She gazed at Leon with a guilty expression, then asked softly, "You're not angry, are you?"
Leon smiled gently and kissed her forehead. "Angry? How could I be? If anything, I feel guilty for burdening you, Athena."
Athena had set aside her duties as Empress just to accompany him on his training with the dragon ancestor.
Leon understood how much she loved him, and it made him both happy and guilty for continually relying on her.
"You don't need to feel guilty, Leon," Athena said, shaking her head firmly. "What I'm doing is only natural. Besides, I don't mind at all. So just relax, okay?"
"Thank you, Athena." Leon hugged her tighter, resting his face against the soft curve of her fragrant neck.
Athena savored the warmth of his embrace, but then she felt something hard press against her stomach.
Her eyes widened briefly, and a knowing smile curved onto her lips.
"Looks like someone's getting impatient down here," she murmured, a playful glint in her eyes as she licked her lips.
Her hand moved lower, brushing against Leon's sensitive parts. "How about I help calm it down?"
Leon: "..."
...
Time passed quickly. The next morning, Leon began his training routine.
However, this time, it wasn't the grueling training with the dragon ancestor. Instead, it was light training—facing off against the magic puppets crafted by Athena.
"Come on, forward!"
Leon charged toward the group of magic puppets standing in the center of the field.
He swung the iron sword in his right hand, slicing at one of them.
*Whoosh!*
Suddenly, a magic puppet attacked from his right, moving silently.
"Too slow!" Leon twisted his body, effortlessly dodging the attack.
Without missing a beat, he decapitated the puppet and turned to face the others, who were now coming from all directions.
Though crafted with Athena's magic, the puppets were undeniably strong. However, their opponent was Leon, and facing them posed no challenge for him.
Twenty minutes later...
"Hah... Hah... Hah..." Leon panted lightly, wiping the sweat dripping down the side of his neck.
"Phew! That was fun," he said with satisfaction, admiring the scattered bodies of the magic puppets, now sliced into pieces.
"You're quite diligent, Fated One. No wonder your swordsmanship is so impressive at such a young age," came the dragon ancestor's appreciative voice from nearby.
Leon was momentarily surprised but then smiled. "You flatter me too much, dragon ancestor. It's nothing."
The dragon ancestor chuckled softly, stepping closer. "Alright, enough modesty. By the way, have you prepared everything for tomorrow's departure?"
"I have," Leon replied with a small nod. "Everything is ready. I just need to leave tomorrow."
"Good," the dragon ancestor nodded in approval.
They chatted for a while until Leon suddenly remembered something.
"By the way, Ancestor," Leon said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a blue crystal ball.
The crystal ball was perfectly round, emitting a soft blue glow.
"Do you recognize this?"
The dragon ancestor blinked in curiosity before taking the ball from Leon's hand. He examined it silently, then his eyes widened in shock.
"Impossible... How could you have this?" he asked in disbelief.
Seeing his reaction, Leon was certain the dragon ancestor knew the origin of the object.
"I found it by accident in the Desert of Chaos," Leon explained honestly. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is it, dragon ancestor?"
The dragon ancestor fell silent for a moment, his expression turning serious.
"It's the Crystal Ball of Life, one of the six sacred artifacts of the spirit race."
