My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives-Chapter 27: Training [1]
Damian woke up feeling... different.
The early morning sun rays that would normally irritate his eyes didn’t faze him in the slightest. They streamed through the window, warm and bright, yet he didn’t squint.
He simply stared.
As he lay on the bed, a strange sensation spread outward from him—like his awareness was stretching beyond the walls. Down into the apartments below. Up into the ones above.
He could hear everything.
Footsteps. Running water. The soft hum of a refrigerator.
Breathing.
He could literally hear their breathing.
Physically, he felt unusually light and energetic—yet excited and empty at the same time. Each emotion was so detailed, so crisp, that he felt like he could pick them up, examine them, and neatly set them aside.
He could choose not to feel.
Even with his pretty wife silently sleeping in his arms, he could turn everything off... and there would be nothing.
No warmth.
No attachment.
No hesitation.
He felt dangerous. He finally understood why Lin Qui had him make a deal to never harm his wives. Back then, he found it ridiculous but right now he didn’t find it impossible.
"I suddenly feel like never stepping into that office again," Damian mumbled.
Dressing up.
Holding a suitcase.
Sitting in an air-conditioned office.
It didn’t seem enticing anymore.
Right now, Damian wanted nothing more than to go to an abandoned mountain range and begin testing out his abilities.
His blank gaze lowered to Hazel’s peaceful face.
Gently, he caressed her smooth cheek, pushing strands of hair behind her ear. With practiced ease, he slipped out of her embrace without alerting her and walked over to the wall mirror opposite the bed.
"This is me?"
Standing stark naked before the mirror, Damian didn’t know what to feel.
His muscles were bulging yet lean—so detailed it looked like he had zero body fat. His violet eyes glowed in a way that would catch anyone’s attention, yet somehow didn’t look unnatural. Even his pupils had narrowed into slits.
His facial features were chiseled to perfection. More of his black hair had turned purple, the blend now even and striking.
In a way, he resembled Lin Qui.
Just... different. Distinct.
"I’m really changing..." he muttered.
He had known this from the start. But today’s transformation felt heavier. More final.
Glancing at his palms, his attention shifted to the glass wall. A thought crossed his mind. When Hazel first appeared, she had shut the curtains with a flick of her hand.
’Can I do the same now?’
He waved.
Nothing happened.
He didn’t complain. Didn’t frown. He just stared at his hand, then back at the glass wall.
Tightening the muscles in his arm, he shut his eyes and focused, applying pressure until he felt something strange—like an unseen force enveloping his hand.
[Demonic Force: Unleash Used!]
With a casual wave dark purple energy surged forward like a tidal wave. The entire glass wall exploded outward, along with every piece of furniture stationed beside it.
Crash!
Hazel abruptly sat up, startled by the thunderous noise. Damian stared at his hand briefly then at the shattered remains of the wall.
A small smile crept onto his cold face. It widened and stretched before slowly turning wild.
"Let’s give my new abilities a try," he said, revealing a pair of growing fangs.
___ Big Marsh Park (South Deering) ___
"Reschedule the meeting with Twenty to 3pm..."
"It doesn’t matter what he feels. Tell him I promise to come with a solution to his problems. To get that solution, he needs to be patient."
Damian spoke calmly to Clara over the phone while watching translucent hexagon-shaped barriers form around them. The structures expanded, merging into a massive dome before dissolving into the wind—completely invisible.
[Name: Isolate]
[Type: Domain]
[Description: Isolates a particular space within the mortal plane, causing both spiritual and physical activities within that location to go unnoticed.]
"Interesting," he murmured.
The windy stretch of land was empty, but knowing they were truly unseen was reassuring.
To think Hazel could create something this overpowered with a wave of her hand.
Then again, he had believed the Faustian Bargain skill was godly—only to discover it was one of the most basic skills on the Elder Art ladder.
He suspected [Isolate] might be the same.
"Alright, let’s get started, babe," Hazel called.
"Is that your wife?" Clara’s stunned voice echoed through the phone.
"Yeah... and I’ve got to go right now."
He ended the call without waiting for a response and slipped the phone into his pocket.
Damian wore a red and white tracksuit. Hazel had snapped a magical pair into existence for herself.
"Alright, so what are we trying out first?" he asked.
"Anything. Show me everything you know. After that, I’ll teach you a thing or two I saw Lin do."
There was sadness behind her voice. Jealousy flickered in Damian’s chest but it also reminded him of the fate of all Sins of Lust.
’Keep your head in the game. There is no time for distractions.’
He slapped his cheeks hard—once, twice—leaving red handprints. Then he activated the first technique.
[One-Tailed Kitsune Physiology Skill Activated]
Bbbrrrr!
Dark violet flames engulfed him violently.
When they faded, his physique remained the same—but his ears had transformed into black furry fox ears tipped in purple. His lips, eyelids, and nails turned black. His nails extended an inch longer—noticeable, yet not threatening.
And behind him a single black fox tail adorned with violet patterns curled over his left shoulder, its purple tip swaying lazily.
In this form, he felt weightless like a feather.
He began hopping lightly from foot to foot, testing the sensation. From the corner of his eye, he noticed a new addition to his stats.
[Infernal Transformation Active]
[Strength: 5.5+5]
[Agility: 5.5+5]
[Constitution: 6.0+5]
[Charisma: 5.5+5]
[Demonic Force: 215/215]
"I gain five points to all stats just because I transformed?" Damian breathed.
That explained the unexplainable lightness. Everything made sense now.
"Is there a time limit to how long I can stay in this form?" he asked.
"Of course not. This is your real demon form, so why would there be a time limit?" Hazel replied instantly.
If it were up to her, he would stay in this form indoors all the time. It would help him grow accustomed to his demon heritage. So the underworld wouldn’t feel alien to him when they finally relocate.
"It is? That’s actually sick."
His only regret was not bringing a mirror. And knowing the government spies on people through their mobile devices, he wasn’t keen on taking a selfie.
Pushing that thought aside, he raised his hand.
Scarlet red fox fire burst forth from his palm, translucent enough that his skin remained visible through the flames.
"How many fox fires do you have?" Damian asked, eyes gleaming as the fire danced wildly in his grasp.
