100 Sweet Candy

The first to wake up was Liyue, her mind hazy from the sleep.

There was also a sore feeling all over her body. It felt rather rigid.

Gradually, her gaze cleared up, and she looked before her, expecting Li Yao's presence. Instead, Yue Li first came to her senses, sleeping between her and her mother.

'Ah, it's true, I slept with Mother Yue since Mom and Brother Han went to drink…' A yawn escaped her mouth, but it suddenly closed as she realized something.

'I didn't wake up in time to train…'

Through the window's curtains, she could see trickles of light passing into the room. It wasn't supposed to be like this at the time they trained.

She walked out of the bed while rubbing her eyes. 'Is my body so sore and rigid cause I didn't train?'

There was even some pain all over her physique. Her shoulders felt loose, her back felt weighed over, her legs tired, and her mind a bit frustrated at missing her training streak.

Just as she was about to check the backyard for Han Li, he came through the backdoor, his body sweating slightly and the black sword flying behind him. He was naked above the waist, and his well-cut body was great eye candy.

Liyue looked at him rather dazedly, and before she knew it, he was near her.

"You woke up early, Liyue," he teased.

"You could've just woken me up, Big Brother…" she said, rubbing her cold hands together.

Han Li looked at her sleepy face, messy hair, roughed-up white robes, and frustrated expression with a smile. Ruffling her hair, he said, "I think today's rest was a good choice. Go wash up, and I'll get the breakfast ready."

Liyue was still pretty dazed but felt sweet at his caring look. She nodded.

He had never cooked for them.

She had always wanted to taste what his so-called famous-all-throughout-Starlight Zone-cooking was. She wanted to know how it compared to Yue Li's cooking.

Honestly, Yue Li's cooking was balanced, with spiciness as a unique selling point, which she used in almost all of her products—Liyue wanted to eat something sweet today.

"Big Brother Han, ca..can you cook something sweet?" Heart skipped a beat as the words came out of her mouth involuntarily.

Han Li smiled and ruffled her hair a bit more. "That's the plan."

She nodded and walked towards the bathroom, a sweet sensation all over her body the first thing in the morning.

In Starlight Zone, there was nothing fancy like the ones in his mom's stories, but instead of tap water, and instead, bamboo pipes were laid out to create a network that allowed water to flow from higher elevations to lower ones, ensuring a steady supply of water for irrigation and other purposes. And the water source, of course, came from the houses spread throughout the Zone. Since these houses were built using a great treasure like the House Builder Seed, they had some passive powers that were very useful.

(House Builder Seed was the treasure Yue Li traded using her Talent at the start, and it made houses pop up in the whole zone, see chapter 19 for the full details.)

The houses could accumulate the water content in the atmosphere, turn it into water, and collect it in the root of the central part of the whole thing. The clan had some people pull the water into a huge bamboo storage container at a high elevation.

So, people in Starlight Zone had similar but less comfortable ways of getting water. As the wares were cleaned, a fire was blazed using two stones that seemed to be shining silvery. Then, Han Li put the pots and such into the fire and began his cooking.

No matter what, he had Absolute Evolved Proficiency with the knife, so was his attention to detail absolutely monstrous. The corn syrups he had bought from faraway merchants, sugar, flavoring, and finally, some little fruits to add to the color; of course, taste too. All of them mixed to form a mouth-watering smell that permeated the surroundings, while with a chuckle, Han Li started to make some tea on the side.

The mixture of things heated up and began to turn a sweet red color. Han Li's eyes brightened up, and he added some unique honey.

The honey in itself looked normal, but this was no normal one. It was the fruit of him rarely visiting the Trade Area in the city's heart; it was a Magical Resource.

It was the expensive sort.

The thing mixed into the red mix, and Han Li sighed as the whole bottle emptied itself. A smell as enticing as the sweetest things but not the sort that made people cringe emanated and spread throughout his home, and then it spread into the outside, too, making some people passing by salivate.

An old man was outside his home, some distance away, in another house's yard.

"Damn, my boy Han Li is cooking!" he said, wiping away some saliva at the side of his mouth as another old man snickered some distance away from him.

"Yeah, I know that guy's way with food. Almost all of his makings smell sweet."

"But I heard he stopped making those makings?" the first old man asked.

"Yeah, some say he inherited Pang Li's inheritance after marrying his daughter. They say he no longer needs money since Pang Li hid a fortune."

"Lucky brat, what about that fatty?"

"He moved away, I heard, signing the papers to his store in the boy's name before going away. It was done in a hurry, and the gatekeeper Evolved was pissed I heard."

"…What about that beautiful woman, Li Yao?"

The second old man squinted his eyes. "I heard… she is still here. Some people even say they saw her walk out of her room at some point."

"How is that possible?!" the first old man's eyes widened.

The other old man shook his head, "There is a rumor going on now, but no one is sure. There is one even wilder one, too, about how the boy healed her; if it was true, though, we should have seen her walking out. But that never happened."

The smell made their noses twitch, to the point that they didn't mind being shameless and going in for a 'friendly visit.' But sadly for them, at some point, Han Li's house had become the scrutiny of the neighborhood for the past few days, and they were people who loved their loneliness.

Back inside his residence, Han Li used a chopstick to take the hot, glass-like, colorless mixture and let it cool down for a second. Then, with a smile, put the stick vertically on a holder by the side.

By this point, his mother and mother-in-law were watching him dazedly from the side while Liyue was beside them, only wearing a towel to hide her naked body as the wet and soaked long black hair dripped water into the surroundings.

Soon, they were left gawking as a candy appeared in front of them. Something that looked like a small fruit stuck on a stick, but its enticing aura and smell far more deadly.

"For those who have brushed, I present," Han Li laughed as he showed them one of the candies, "Han Li special, Heavenly Lollipop."

Yue Li was the first to walk towards him with bright eyes. "Give me!" she said.

Han Li chuckled. "For those who have already brushed, I said."

"One bite, and I go brush!" Yue Li demanded, swallowing.

'Thankfully, nothing is wrong with her Heart,' he thought.

"You go brush, and you get that one bite plus more." Han Li closed the lid of the bottle that stored the rest of the candies using quite a lot of his strength, bending the iron as the lid tightly shut. He then smiled and walked towards Liyue, who was just here after her bath.

Li Yao was beside her, looking at the candy in Han Li's hand with desire. "Damn Yue Li, your son is much better than you," she muttered.

Yue Li looked at the sweet-looking candy and said with agitation, "He is better because of the honey thing he brought in the other day. Humph, I am and will be the best of this household in cooking."

Han Li smirked. "I am not so sure about that if I tried."

Pouting, Yue Li moved towards the bottle of sweets one step at a time and covertly attempted to open it, but it didn't budge. She tried harder, and she could still not open it.

'Xiao Li is too strong, Argh!' she tried even harder but to no avail.

"Come dear, let's eat your Big Brother's sweet candy," Han Li raised Liyue's chin and said to her with a loving gaze. Liyue blushed slightly and nodded, biting her lips.

'Cute,' Han Li took her hands, and they walked away.

Han Li's voice echoed: "If you want it, go brush and come to me with the bottle, wash too. Both of you stink! Don't act so rushed. The more time you wait, the tastier it will get since it is still being cooked in the bottle."

"Is that true, Big Brother?" Liyue asked as they reached her room and started to search for a proper dress.

"Not true, it's already cooked. No taste is going to increase." He hugged her body from the back and planted a kiss on her cheeks.

Red coated her cheeks. She was practically naked, with only a towel covering her.

"Liyue, you look more beautiful the more days pass."

She smiled. "Thank you…"

"I am the one who should thank you. I am the one benefiting after all."

They stood like that for a while before he moved away and looked at her in anticipation.

She cleared her throat and removed the towel. Finally, Han Li looked at her naked figure and couldn't help but glance at her with a stunned gaze.

He had seen many women naked.

He had enjoyed many different tastes.

But none had ever had a body as perfect as Liyue.

None had ever been so… beautiful.

She was different from Yue Li in that she looked more like a goddess, while Yue Li looked more like the perfect human. Han Li's heart skipped a beat, and his nose grew slightly hot.

"Wow, Liyue," He stared, speechless as to how he should describe her.

She simply blushed fiercely and quickly got dressed.

Han Li could only look at the woman with a blank gaze. He had never known someone could hide that level of perfection under a cloth.

"Can I get a kiss in return?" he asked with disbelief still written across his face.

Liyue smiled and rose on her toes to plant a kiss on his forehead.

"Enough?"

"Of course not." He planted one on her lips.

Liyue smiled as she rested her hands on his chest and took a deep breath. "I am so nervous, but my body feels so warm and fuzzy too now for some reason."

Her hands were slightly trembling.

"Should we have kids now?" Han Li asked, filled with dirty desires.

Liyue chuckled at the joke. "Candy?"

He presented her with the transparent sweet, but smilingly chanted to cast a small Magic Power to make it look red in color.

She took it from his hands gracefully and tasted it.

She was stunned and on her foot as, before she knew it, the candy vanished. She couldn't even start to describe the taste.

"Wow, that… what is this big brother?!" she exclaimed.
